Since having solar panels installed it is nearly as useful as the app that comes with them, it now shows an extra icon of a pylon with arrows pointing at it, showing when they are generating more than I’m using.

An old skool friend who now lives in OZ is trying to go off grid.

      Batteries R expensive.

He has been looking for submarine batteries. I suggested a bank of truck batteries and he’s looking into it.

The killer is his misses has x2 Kilns.

I think he walks round with his pipe in all day.

Just a minute, something ain’t right here! Where are the Russian P,O,W’s

Clearly some of the Russians must have put down there weapons and arms in the air.

Putin needs to be torn apart by horses.

Those modern anti tank ‘and other modern’ weapons provided by NATO have rubbished the tank as a weapon..

I’ll bet Putin thought his tank division was better than Hitlers Pantzer division. 65 years on and tanks are no more the monster from the original in WW1.

Struggling with the BBC news, definitely tailored news.

I wonder just how many volunteer solders from countries are fighting for the Ukraine. I guess that kind of information needs to be kept from Putin.

            @ Les. TY for reply.

I have some time today and so I’m on the case of the boiler.

I had a look at it the other day and have ordered some replacements being: heat ex changer, burner and the oven bit.

            Bugger gotta drain the system.

            Anyway!

Yes, I saw that impressive bunch of kids. Looks like that have a promising career in front of them so long as the likes of M$ can point them in the right direction. A fat wallet can surely sort kids out ]like that. Hmm looks like I have a fault with my keyboard.

The trick to navigate to the best phone at the best price. pick the phone you want. click condition. click through colour range.

                  watch the prices change.

Yeah, visiting London can now be darn expensive. It looks to me for average folk the the automobile is a now go unless you got the brass for spanking new Tesla.

I saw a Tesla the other week and the tyres where shredded on it. It was a women driver but I don’t think she did that. Some one had been driving seriously hard in it.

Here is my position on cold fusion. lol. Thats is a bit harsh. Oh and as useless as the flat earth society. But in the back of my mind I would like to think somewhere out there in time and space cold fusion is taking place and giving off more energy than it uses and again Lol.  The ITER needs to be able to run super hot plasma kicking out well above Q10 really and we all know more like Q50. It looks to me as a layman that they got the machine right. I think the next big problem is to have the machine and more importantly the computing able to move fast enough to make a stable environment like our sun at maintaining the plasma and pumping out Q values in the right direction to turn water into steam for the turbines.

Back to cold fusion and just an idea. The universe came from the big band and one day all mater will be consumed as in burned. I figure that what will be now nothing will begin to collapse to its original state as in before the big bang and temps will be kelvin zero what? And some where in there cold fusion will take place. And again Lol as I can be as crazy as a flat Earther.

ULEZ. Just a heads up. These things are spreading.

Any motoring plans on going into one of these areas, plan ahead. Go to the wed site check out your vehicle and pay in advance if you have to or you could end up getting your fingers burned.

My daughter has a 12 years old road tax free diesel. Classed as clean at the time and propbs still is.

Went into London and stayed a couple of days and then ended up getting fined £160= 80 going in and 80 coming out.

So much for road tax free then.

The last couple of phones I got was from BACK MARKET.

They where Samsung s9 and s9+

I highly recommend a s9+ The two I got where as new for about 200 each.

Well done on that wasbit. Must have been fun to. As for the TPM thing. With the latest AMD bios the fTPM has become a Trojan horse. Causing a stuttering as if hardware failure was imminent as was the case for me.

AMD released a work around/fix, until a new bios can be released next month. What they did not mention in their work around was to disable fTPM. Which works just fine. 🙂

In addition to the above post. When I test the viewsonic with: https: https://backlightbleedtest.org/

Its a genuine pass and so the monitor is a keeper.

I just got a new monitor its a: viewsonic, VX3276-MHD-3, IPS, 32″, 75hz, 1080p, 1200nits HDR it has a high PPI so there is no need IMO to go above 1080P. High PPI=real good for editing photos.

Also we live in a gaming monitor dystopia which every one wins except the end user. Do I need 4k 240hz and a 3090ti? Er

                                  Err, No!.

Spoiler alert: I had to send the first one back due to excessive IPS bleed. The one I have now is OK but not brill. It may be due to the bezel being only 7MM thick or not stored properly or summat.

The only time I see a small amount of IPS bleed is the initial black splash screen at boot..

Thats not a bod idea PM I see I could get a lte 4G lumia for 20.

I would need some kind of usb converter to connect to my router though.

Also would a smart phone have the same signal catchment ability as  a TP-LINK TL-MR6400 300 Mbps 4 Ports Wireless Router.

That seems to be the 4G router every one is going for but is it the winning trick.

@EDP, yeah, bit of a no brainer decision for BT to make with 5G on fast roll out.

Blimey, that does so sound like a blank check book build in the current climate for the cost of PC hardware and you say he’s “fecking skint”

He best look for a part time job. 🙂

Nice piccy of the build above and how much ram? lol! Love the PCI-E ssd.

About the TN panel you pointed out. With TN’s for best results make sure they are set to the Max hz often gets overloo0ked.

Yeah, Intel have hit back hard and of course Intel CPU’s rule of thumb dont half game.

Its the MoBo prices when it comes to Intel thats the killer and when you consider that chips this day and age are like SOC’s then a mobo should be peanuts.

But yeah. That new i3 12100F is stonking for games, in fact I don’t believe it. Reminds me of the old 2 core 4 thread i3’s but they did not last long as more cores was required. But yeah, find a cheap B660mobo and its the stuff of wee childrens dreams.

Thats a neat little enclosure. Certainly a good way of putting old SSD’s to new purpose.

I see you can get 2TB M.2′ s now for about £140. Its like the stuff of wee childrens dreams.
