This is still up in the air but.

So, I decided to uninstall the driver software that comes with  the HDX. Not windows certificated beta.

Installed  ASIO4All latest version its less than 1000kb driver.

See what windows offered me for driver in device manager. I got the latest version of audio expoint.

Music bee hooks straight in asio4all and gives me the valus of audio out putted and the sound quality is as good as it gets. But this is on my gaming rig not the RMA’ed mobo. Now in the post.

So this problem is still up in the air. I tell why in a mo.

MSI for help is like flogging a dead horse.

E-buyer tech guys gave me an RMA.

For my new build I used a business class 1TB ssd kingstone 400? But not for about 2 weeks.

I put my old ssd in tonight and the sound card works. The mind boggles. The driver for the card is beta not windows approved.

I’m thinks the busness class ssd with windows blocked my sound card.

Any way off to do some more tests. wtf. 🙂

So I have now exhausted every option I have with this board.

The card no matter what, will show as populated in the bios. This is now the no brainer as to why it dont work. But I took note about windows and uninstalled the gfx drivers with amd’s removol tool just in case windows had hogged all the pci-e lanes with the athlon 200GE and I pulled the cpu if therm gease had gone into the keep.

I bin on to e-buyer who gave me the number for MSI london. Tomorrow then.

Hmm you could be onto some thing there Dave. It is a sound, card but then again.

I did a google and it does come up with unpopulated pci-e on MSI boards.Could be random msi thing. So?

Guess I could sell the 320 board and get a gigabyte B or X?

Would it be worth trying to return it to e-buyer or do you think they will throw it back at me..

Also a new bios has just come out. I give it a try.

OK It is done. I used Fing io to find the linkstation which gave me the IP address. I then went into it and set to share. Whooooo! Now watching Ice Cold In Alex and I’m Having A Beer 2 🙂

Lols, just prepareing the kit for shipping. If it sells? The I noticed that I had lapped the CPU some years ago and forgot, so I’ve quickley brought my listing upto date with a new photo and enboldend text to bring would be buyers attention to the weird looking CPU. 🙂

I remebmer my gaming rig of the ( 2004 original Doom 3 release date) time had x2 GB of DDR2 @ £100 per stick and you can now get DDR4.

4GB for less than £30

coinincidence. Figure I may put a new build together for the HDX card. I’m liking the Atholn 200GE. I could put a new media player together for less than £??? 🙂

D-Dan could you throw me a bone on how to do that. The partiton/unallocated space is as is after accident.

If the start and finish numerical points are required I can get them.

W7 disc manager offers some options like new simple volume.
