One thing that bugs me is connection corrosion as with the copper cable.

OOOH Oygen fee cable.

But end to end connection will oxydize. Fuuny thing is though some people complain that the sound is too bright when the connection is new. As in no copper rust.

I sold my intel i7 to build this machine and I got a terrific price for it TBH. Seems to be a characteristic of intel kit holding its price. I’m sure when I come to sell my 3600 I will get penuts for it.

I to also have no problems with VRM temps. As they sit next to the CPU cooler and have there own heat sink and so run 20c ish cooler than the CPU.

But Damn 100C is mad hot in the first place. 🙂

Its brobabley fair to say that government only became important at world war one for people. They bin stringing us along oversince the great wars. And we get taxed around 50%. You may think the most expensive thing you buy is a house. But no, its contributing to the state and we have Boris and Jez to choose from.

So. Tech spot are of the opininon. That with ryzen processors that if the VRM temperature hits 100C and above then the CPU will start to throttle back.

@WOFY. 🙂 So Tech spot recon that if you are not GPU bound then overclocking your ram will increase fps. Lol but its one of them isnt it. For the most part we are GPU bound and when we are not we do not need extra FPS. 🙂

Oh btw I had to clock  back down to 15,16,16,16, 3200. Unstable. PC ran around kicking in chairs and knocking down tables in a resturant in a west end town. 🙂

I made the observation that for the first time with bios 1004B that I can overclock my ram. It is now a@ 14,16,16,16 3200Mhz and the default was 16,18,18,18 3200, so well pleased. It was pointed out on tech spot that if the VRM get to hot then the CPU will underclocked. So I will look into that ata the week end. 🙂

Nice Build. Yes NVMe drives are brill and nutsly fast. Think I will give the storeMI a go. 🙂

If you fancy tweaking your case fans then I use DC for system teperature @1/35c, 2/40c, 3/45c and 4@ 50 centigrade with fan speed set @ 1/600RPM, 2/ 840, 3/960 and 4 @ 1200 RPM. .

Good luck with the fans Dave. They will soak up some time configuring. Is that a Dyson vacume cleaner I can feel blowing around my ancles? No it’s the new build pooter thats trying to fly. 🙂

I actually do have superdooper fans. The funny thing is this. If you configure them to: system, cpu or chipset and  My fans shift twise as much air as generic at the same speed and yet becase of the configure options that means unless I lock them down they will Go like a dyson hand dryer and for the most part acheive nothing except mabe slow down the GPU fan 2hundred RPM and probabley starve in my case the PSU of grabable air. 🙂

Apparently windows update 1909 Novemeber gives a big increase in performance to the game. Must be to do with the new CPU performance update. DUNO 🙂

Not tried store MI. For sure if you can speed up anything slow in a pc its gonna help especially with games with all that fetching they have to do. Nice GFX card and bundle The 8GB frame buffer will see him right. 🙂

I suppose with Rasterisation being so good nowedays you have to wonder about ray tracing.

I remember when NVidia fisrt introduced physix. Unreal jumped on it and built it into a demo in unreal tournament 3 making a killer app. But badley optimized and so carp. pretty much the same set up today with raytracing a badley optimised killer app.

Time will tell another 6years.

Seems the new true killer app on the block is red Dead Redemtion????

You Know. I am really looking forward to the new 3000G Athlon. Yep, the new £50 soc. Apparently this one is unlocked by default. No cracked bios required. 🙂

So, A New Bios has been released 1004B. Its to accomadate the new thread rippers due for realese real soon and has been improved over previous bios.

So far I have not managed to get any xtra performance out of my 3600 but boot times to the dask top are almost instant.

I messed around with some of the new features in the bios and found that I had underclocked the chip to 547Mhz on all cores.

Man It was like I had swopped in an old penty 4 willamette. Ah new features in PBO.
