I  have found a guide. Not to sure about it at the mo, some stuff does not add up.

But in my bios you have eufi and eufi csm the later being a type of eufi with legacy support a windows 7 eufi then?

My media pc is full eufi as SSD and modern blu ray drive.

I guess my current problem has something to do with how old some of my Sata connected hardware is.

I will look at this again. easy process of elimination.

See this article here if you are feeling ballsey and grabing your self a cheap B450 with unlock bios for next gen kit..

New AGESA BIOS Updates enables AMD Smart Access Memory functionality for X470 and B450 (guru3d.com)

No big deal as far as I am concerned. I trawl MSI mobo support each day looking for the enhanced bios to drop.

Over the years I have gotten through a few speakers. It always amazes me that on different speakers different artits may sound better or worse.

Take my last 3 sets: Boston acoustics. Thin Lizzy sounded like they was in the house. Monitor Audio, T. Rex definaley was in the house and current Bowers & Wilkins, ACDC in the house, Bon Scott can actually sing.

I could do with a good web cam and microphone at the right price. We take it for granted that our smart phones do this and dont think twice. The emphasis is on mic though. Or cortana is a deaf head. Funny you would have thought that M$ would have sorted it it out when cortana say is its a MICK problem. :yahoo:

Definatley look to eliminate vibration from the cabinet.

IME the cabinet chip board doubles in thickness when juming from a £250 to £500 speakers of simliar dimentions.

My current sytem is as digital as I can make it featuring a NAD 3020v2 optical conection. This gives the best sound quality above other supported options.

Dont think I will ever go back to traditional elec guzzling amp.

But then The apple chip must be limited in some ways. maybes alot?

We got a pc we just cannot throw away, core2 joby and it matters not if you replace the bios battery you have to set it all up on every boot to get into windows. Still once its up and running alls well.

I have found that when buying generic but so called good quality at a given size and its a couple of quid cheaper than a true brand that the size is often smaller and just enough to be real annoying.

I have a pencil and paper with me and being one of the few on the planet with a large brain, I will solve this problem.

I have a briliant idea and I shall call it Pantograph.

Yeah. The new MacBook Air featuring the M1 SOC looks stunning on paper and no need for fan cooling! as it runs so cool?

Not for me, but fan boys will jump at it.

One thing to remember about SSD’s is that games R currently not optimised for them and so it does not matter how fast your SSD is. Games will load approximatley at the same speed wether or not your SSD is so called fast or slow.

So on thast basis a 1TB cheapy sloey may be just what you want went it comes to game storage and let us not forget that a SSD will load a game at least x2 the speed of a HDD. Gay :yahoo:

Forget overclocking today. Unless you go the intel cpu way. But Obvs AMD is now where its at. Good idea to hang on to your GPU as lots of new stuff coming out soon.

But the CPU to go for is the AMD 3600 and what ever B450 mobo takes yer fancy and dont forget you want pc 3200 ram.

The uplift in performance from the 3600 in games is mind boggling.

Spinner seagate 4TB and an SSD for windows approx 100GB

I would think coming upto xmas there should be a great oppertunity to get beefy second hand kit.

My thinking. The new AMD 5600x will be jumped on and so maybes loads of 3600+ X going on ebay. + B450 micro ATX mobo’s and ram look for 16Gb 3200. GFX cards have been an iffy purchase since NV released the 20 series and so a GTX1070 and come with 8GB of GDDR and will be it for 1080p gaming. Alot of cards out there came with 5 years warrenty. SSD only needs to be about 128GB and this is because games R currently optimed for HDD and so somethink like a seagate 4TB. These drives have a slower rpm but, in no way R they slow or seagate iron wolf. 450watt psu like masterwatt by coolermaster. Case AV Viper mini tower micro ATX.

Hmm low spec games. But £600 to spend.
