Ive got the LG V30. I got it on the grey MKT from Hong Kong.

Mine is faultless and better than most reviews I have read.

But the Grey market is a gamble.

I got it cos of the quad DAC and 2TB expandable storage above all other features.

The phone is seriously cosmetic and may well jump out of a shirt pocket.

I don’t think its been a good year for PC enthusiasts. Yeah, lots of new kit but the prices are out of control on account of the skimmers, bitcoin rhubarb and lack of available product.

Yeah, the Intel 2500K was quite the overclocker and from there on new line cpu’s performance increments was a slippery slop to no where special.

Well I still got my 50£ in ma sky rocket. I will wait for the game to hit the bargain bucket in 12 months time.

Looks like the game could do with some optimization patches.

But with all this new tech under the hood from NVIDIA and then AMD looking to get in on some kinda optimization for there hardware how could this game ever be optimized and so its no wonder Apple are now making there own chips as the piper calls the tune when it comes to optimized software.

I am convincing my self that the latest consoles are now the way to go.

As far as I know spdif is one way, so the signal is digital on the way out and then needs to be converted to analogue at the end of the chain.

I use spdif out via optical cable.

Here is a good key for which to set your GPU target.

Looking at it i would go for the 2060 super 8GB or RX5700 8GB.

Yes that’s almost my system.

Amazing CPU you got there. It kicks ass in games. I was amazed. Ram you need to set it to 3200xmp.

GFX card. Well now then. My GTX 1070 plays all my games at ultra=60fps with said CPU.

Except 1 Metro exodus but thats because there game engine has always been buggy now matter how good the eye candy is.

Cyberpunk2077 The word is that it is barely indistinguishable. The eye candy settings between Medium and ultra and at Medium a GTX1070 will run the game at 60fps.

I would look for 2nd hand card the likes of the 1080, 1070, 1660ti prices must be dropping off a cliff by now.

Yeah, I got me Metro Exodus from CD keys bargain bucket. Terrific game. Its Metro meets Farcry 2.

I see the reviews are coming in for Cyberpunk2077 and its breaking records.

I will wait for the price to drop a lot before I buy it giving plenty of time for it to be patched up and maybe some free DLC.

The cost of a competent GPU.

Ray tracing is gonna be rammed down our throats reel soon despite rasterization being almost as good. A fully ray traced 1080p screen will require 2 million ray traced lines. That GPU does not exist yet and a 4K screen requires well over  30 Million.

So 1080p is where I am at for some time to come and cost effective oled HDR will come to 1080p first.

Don’t forget tools like Recuva. I paid for a license one time but the enhanced feature set was not really better than the free version.

Intel have just made a new one. I forget the read but it operates at seriously low temperatures to make it almost vurk.

Ty for the heads up on IDE but my mobo does not support it. Anyway I sused it. It was my aging rom drive.

I’m gonna stick with eufi/csm for the time being as I will only be getting the AMD 6700 if it kicks x2 of my 1070. When they release it of course.

Right, back to prating about.
