I think I’ll reply and see what ‘she’ has to say!
You never know, it may be genuine 🙂

Difficult for me to search as I use so many different email addresses. My most secure password isn’t there but my second one is but I can’t tell which email it came from. One of my email addresses on there is from ebay but I suspect it came from one of their 3rd parties which email me junk occasionally.

I can imagine Ed P. I’ve just started using Python (3 obviously) and the amount online help has already shifted to 3 with most of 2 being outdated. It does seem to have been quite a change!

Looking here, there is no writing but one of the comments shows a GTX650 core and not a 1050. Think it may be dodgy chinese card after all.

There were two listing for about 5 cards each from diffeerent suppliers. There were also two listing from dodgy accounts with zero feedback at the same time but those have gone ffrom the completed listing resulst.
Why do they have ATI Rage written on? Nothing to do with the old ATI Rage cards I take it?

I get this too. I have my own domain (about £10 per year) and so I’ve set all email to be delivered to my personal address. This means I can use a different email address everytime I register and therefore any emails I get I know [almost] exactly where they’ve come from.
e.g. my email for forumite is forumite.co.uk@mydomain.com and this gets delivered to me.
my spam folder contains mail from stanleysonline, facebook and dropbox – not them directly but they have shared my email address with 3rd parties.

Here you can see it when I was making it (nearly 5 years ago now).

It has changed a bit since then …

When I built my office I put 6 tripple gang sockets in. They look very similar to your pics (MK sockets)
They are fused in series through a single 13A fuse in the little plate under the left switch so the can only handle the same power as a single socket. This isn’t a problem because it is in my office and as you can see, this one has a USB hub, screen and Hive unit plugged into it. It also means that my office essentially only has the same as 3 double gang sockets so doesn’t risk overloading the house even though I can plug in 18 devices.

I’ve been dabbling a bit and the only way to make money is buy and sell. There was a large boom where you couldn’t fail to make money but now you need to trade regularly, i.e. several transactions per day.

Ahh, that would fit well. Too many devices for it to cope with perhaps. I will set the kids ipads to only use the access point and see if it takes the strain off it. If so then I’ll have a good argument for a new router!
Thanks 🙂

Gone are the days of binmen putting it on their backs – largely because of sharp things (and heavy). Once in the wheelie bin it shouldn’t come into contact again with anything. I wrap it in a piece of kitchen towel and put them in the kitchen bin .. Never had a problem.

A friend essentially just summed up this thread a couple of days ago. He said “Have you seen Disenchanted? The first one is a bit weak but it’s really good after that”

I must leave it there as we have no common ground to move forward on. If it were possible I’d wish you all well on the Brexit ship but alas I am being dragged along with it with no possibility of return. Fortunately we are not out of the harbour yet so my journey is not yet determined as I really don’t want to have to jump ship – I doubt my wife and 4 kids would come with me! 🙂

Brexit can’t work, pretty much by definition. The EU stated that the UK cannot be better out of the EU than in it. Not in a nasty way but if we have a great time after we leave then it would undermine the EU and it could fall apart. I’m sure you think that is great but from the EU’s equally valid viewpoint it isn’t.
The EU is between 6 and 10 times the size of the UK so, we WILL lose.i7 4790s / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 980 / 34" UltraWide : i3 4170 / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 770 / 24" Samsung : i3 4130 / 8GB / 500GB Spinner / GTX 1050 / 23" Acer : Q9550 / 8GB / 1TB Spinner / GTX 580 / 22" Acer : i7 720QM / 8GB / 1TB+2TB+500GB Spinners (server) : i5 4570 / 8GB / 60GB SSD / 1TB / GeForce 210 / 22" Dell It's getting warm in here!
I see the statements you make Bob but I don’t see the conclusion. We’ve done the hard work of the last 40 years and now we are all living very well, peaceful-ish and happy. But because we were narrowly forced into it we should quit and go back to how we were in the 70s?
It doesn’t make sense. Are you saying there is nothing good about the EU?i7 4790s / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 980 / 34" UltraWide : i3 4170 / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 770 / 24" Samsung : i3 4130 / 8GB / 500GB Spinner / GTX 1050 / 23" Acer : Q9550 / 8GB / 1TB Spinner / GTX 580 / 22" Acer : i7 720QM / 8GB / 1TB+2TB+500GB Spinners (server) : i5 4570 / 8GB / 60GB SSD / 1TB / GeForce 210 / 22" Dell It's getting warm in here!
I’m not sure what you mean by where is the EU heading? I don’t see a problem with the voting system. Are you trying to imply that it is corrupt or does not represent all parties fairly? Who is gaining from this and how do they orchestrate it? To what ends are they subverting the real direction of Europe? Why don’t we have the same direction as Germany and France?
I see lots of statements and questions (first paragraph) you make that are open ended with no real answer and therefore can never be answered.
We won’t get everything we want, nobody expects to. Scotland doesn’t get what it wants and London still has to pay taxes for things around the rest of the country it won’t use. That is what being a part of the whole is about. All those questions you have (2nd para) will be negotiated amongst the EU, us included. I doubt it but we may have to join the Euro … so what? An EU army sounds great to me, I’d much rather have a single Trident system shared between all EU states it would save us hundreds of billions and we’d be no worse off.
Staying in the EU isn’t a leap in the dark, it is one step at a time. WE are in the EU and we are taking the steps jointly, it is not something being done to us.
Ending Brexit doesn’t make us week, it means we have changed our minds. We don’t have to prove our strength to Europe, our friends don’t judge us by it.i7 4790s / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 980 / 34" UltraWide : i3 4170 / 8GB / 480GB SSD / GTX 770 / 24" Samsung : i3 4130 / 8GB / 500GB Spinner / GTX 1050 / 23" Acer : Q9550 / 8GB / 1TB Spinner / GTX 580 / 22" Acer : i7 720QM / 8GB / 1TB+2TB+500GB Spinners (server) : i5 4570 / 8GB / 60GB SSD / 1TB / GeForce 210 / 22" Dell It's getting warm in here!
You may discount my view because I’m a remainer but I just can’t see any real benefit from Brexit. From human rights to sovereignty to trade, I just can’t see anything that will make any tangible difference to mine or most other peoples lives.
Brexit on the other hand is looming large cloud of great uncertainty. Are we going to be so much better off … highly unlikely. Is it going to be worth the hardship in the long term … unlikely. Is it possible it could really turn out bad … yes.It just doesn’t make sense?
