If traveling over 30mph you get better mpg with the air con on than cracking a window open.

Also the hit on mpg is minimal from aircon. I personally always run hot, so always have my aircon on. Even in the winter, the heat will be on 20 for the first 10 mins, then always put back to 16. I lose about 10miles over a tank of fuel. Which in min is 290miles. Give or take. As I said a loss not worth thinking about.

Thanks Dave. I’ll look into that HP above.

Well last night one of the guys in the pub said they had a epson wf 7715, that he had no use for. He said he would drop it off in the week!

I won’t hold my breath, even if it does turn up it probably won’t work. I’ll give it a few days then look up the HP.

I have no idea about The Epson one, I’ve not even looked into it’s details or reviews. I forgot about the convo until an hour ago when my wife metioned printers. It’s her who wants it. I’d be happy using the printers shop for our print outs.

Yes colour is now important. It’s maimly for poster printing.

I ditched my colour a4 printer for a b/w laser a4 one a few years ago.

Cheers everyone, I sort of dismissed inkjet cos of my past lack of usage issues, but this one will be used more often. So I would go injet if it makes sense.

The issue with these protectors, is they just move the weak point down 2 inches.

However I do use them once wear start to occur

An artical just popped up in lu local papers ‘the journal’ Web site.

Talking of screening all walking for thd virus, all good so far. Then went on to say if you think you have it, Don’t come in, call 111 instead.

Sounds good at first glance, however 111 doesn’t exist for our area! What great local reporting, and advice form our surgery. We are all doomed.

I don’t think this should be closed. It’s now that it’s all going to get interesting. It’s not going to be December until we see the fall out.

Also as the heated nature has subsided, like all other threads, it shouldn’t be closed. It will come to an nateral end eventually. If we close this one, there is no doubt another will be opened at some point. So it should be left alone.

Cnn has this real time map of the virus. Not sure if anyone has posted it yet.

I loved all the stargate stuff, I think it was bravo or gold that played every sg1 episode 2 a day form being to end over about a 6 month period in about 2006. I thought it got a bit lost in the middle but found itself again towards the last couple of seasons. I must admit to liking Atlantice the best out all the SG spin offs.

I just watched the first episode of of Star Trek Picard, I quite liked it.

Thb I don’t thin its worth worrying about, as if it happenes it happens.

Side note, I’m 3/4 Thr way though Stephen Kings, The Stand. Happy coincidence or is their someting larger at play….. Lol.

                                  Really enjoying it BTW.

120 is not steep for a decent router, that have the majority of pro features.

I’ve heard alot of people are very happy with the prices of the new rack mounted Pro set up. That cost is relive to what you do. If your into heavy video rendering aparantly the new system is a no brainer. Especally give its uber configurable and user upgradable. So you can buy the “cheaper” options now, and have it as the core of your buses ofr a good 10 years while slowly upgrading it.

I’m guseeing there will already be modded cases avalible for it so one won’t need a rack.

Amazed how bad my typing was above. Hopefully changed most of it for the better

I’ve never liked tablets before, never liked ios either, however this older pro I’m loving alot. It’s turning into my go to device. Also the pen and photoshop (also procreate looks Better than PS) make this a great buy at the price point these first gens are at.

In 2 years time I’ll get whatever the current one is now, then. By then ios (or ipad os) will be a more fleshed out computing os also, so a nice keyboard doc and I think I may be happy for 95% of my computing needs.

I can’t belive I’m being dragged to the dark side, after years of protesting. But I think they have a proper bit of kit on thier hands now.

I wouldn’t pay a grand for one though. I’d get a windows surface if I was going down that road. A referb surface may be a good bet. Though I hear their pen isn’t a patch on apples.

I’m going just chicken, that was just an example. It’s either chicken breast (which I hate), or a pork steak over done which I do like. But only once a week. Ive gone off beef atm, and that use to be my go to meat.

I’m just going through a strange stage, where I’m just not feeling right withing myself, so I’m overhauling my diet. Not to lose weight, just hopefully to feel better.

Alnost a year into the pub game and my diet turned to compleat garbage. Then to counter act the late night takeaways, I substituted them with nothing. So since december I’ve been living on a bown of musli (sugar free) with ciniman on (it’s devine) as my one meal a day.

So things have to change. Especally as I feel like I’m constantly tired and getting alot of dry skin.

I see these plant based diets are all the rage, so I’m going to loosely try one of them, whoth the od bit of meat 2 days a week thrown in. Hopefully perk me up after a few weeks.

Currently eating 5 chicken nugurts my daughter jus brought on her way home 😒 first thing I’ve eaten today. But I was happy waiting till breakfast muslie! Will power of a, whatever has non,! They was quite nice tbh!
