Good thing about car seats now, is they arnt real leather, or most arnt. I think renault was the last main stream non luxury brand to drop real leather. It doesn’t feel as nice, but should last longer than real leather.
Tbh I hate full leather far seats, more than I hate a leather suit. A car is one of two things, backing hot or freezing cold when you get in. Leather is just the worst for this.
I do like a half leather half alcantara though.
This is interesting, and a good(ish) was you circumvent 2 factor authentication given its basic fall back feature is an sms.
To combat this and make you 2 factor as strong ad it can be, you a proper authenticator app. There is a few good ones, authey is one and Google’s own authenticator is good. You can use both to run all (most) 2 factors through..
Though most normal peeps, wouldn’t have a clue.it existed, never mind how to set it up.
HSBC does a sort of good login process for non tech people, a dongle that produces a unique sign in code every time. It’s identical to Google’s and the rest authenticator, on HSBC is a physical device and not phone/pc based.
On reflection this morning I’m really gutted for Mo Salah. It’s not often I feel this was for millionaires living the dream, but given he seems such a nice guy, and the chance of Egypt making a WC again, this is Lilley his only chance. And him theirs.
It looks like it’s ligament sprain, something I lived with in training, but ankle, (but I taped mine up in Ma makeshift cast for the best part of 7 months) he can’t, and it looks like it’s an 8-16 healing period for the shoulder. With 30+/- days till the WC.
For him I hope he gets on the pitch. For Liverpool, I hope he has a quite time to recover. But I’ll happily put my Liverpool bias on hold, and cross my figures he makes the WC.
I don’t think Egypt are gong to be favourites anymore.
Also having watched the game back this morning, the keeper had a decent game, (bar the two moments), but I can’t see he recovering, the supporters, was never fully behind him before our biggest game in a decade.
Also that 3rd long ranger he parried in, he done the same at 0-0 (iirc) in the first leg of roma, but it spilled against the bar, and he has done it a couple of other times previous. So it’s not like this is a one off.
We can’t have out midfield terrier of the oppersition getting pop shots off. It will make them play deeper and deeper, and more to the point, stop us playing our high stakes football.
This keeper was brought in as he can play a high line, act as a lb old school sweeper, (which he is good at), but you need to also have the basics down. Like many a past lfc keeper, he is an excellent shot stopper, but give him a second to think, and it’s all goes to shit.
He will go on to be a good keeper, but not at Liverpool now. There was rumours that our keeper budget had been halfed from 80m to 40,as karius, may of got the 1 spot, and we was just going for a no2 keeper. Now I reckon we well be looking for an 80m keeper again. Sigh.
In other news, F1 starts soon. The Monaco GP, also known as the M25 follow along.
That spay could tempt me to dumb out aged Brown leather couch for a dark cloth (I’m not sure cloth is the right term) couch.
I hate leather, but with kids (and now dogs), a soft material couch doesn’t last. Our current settee is 13, which isn’t a bad inning considering 5 kids got brought up, and the dogs like it.
But with something like this, the dream of a non leather couch may well be ignited again.
I’ve just check the list, and sadly Tadka, you’re on the list of ‘need not know’. I’d tell you if I could ?
I have no idea, and don’t really care enough to care. But quite a few large protest in the city, seem to be ignored by the press. A bit like quite a wars.
I thought the EDL hated TR and seen him as a traitor/turn coat.
Id not heard about the current London issue, but I’d thought he would of found it hard to get a protest going now.
But yes, I don’t like the way the BBC seem to ignore some brand of political parties. I personally have no time for them, but I hate it when the smaller parties are just dismissed by the beeb. If they (the beeb or gov) are so sure the likes of EDL are losers, let them talk, give them their 15mins,and let the public decide. It’s an almost curtain that they will expose themselves and look stupid. So just give the the rope.
Or is the gov terrified that there is something in all that right wing hate? Do they not trust us, the public, to make decisions. Oh wait there, they did, and we are now in the middle of that brexit thing. Forget I said anything. ?
The only thing I worried about was being embarrassed. That never happened. Until salah went off, we was the better team. Me had Marcelo pined back, and it kept them honest. Only one decent chance each.
Once salah went off, (as predicted) we retreated 20 yards, as they wasn’t scared of out pase, and the game come down to human error.
The keeper, which I’d got behind since Xmas, (many haven’t), messed up with the first, but it could be explained away, wit the style klopp wants, (if we won), but the second bale shot is ‘bread and bitter’ . I can see klopp sticking with him, as he is stubborn, but the lad is gonna get the emotional shit kicked out of him. Nothing is above a European final to a Liverpool fan, an he royally f-ed up twice.
Now Bale has made a bit of a tit out of ZZ, as he was awesome once on. He probably just added 20m to his price tag for he summer.
Im not bitter, they won, they used all the ‘gamesmanship’ allowed but the rules (like wba do), but so would we if we could, so congrats to them. And I’m glad we made a good showing of ourselves.
Strenghen and move on.
Eating lost of pizza and sulking atm lol
Any new noise isn’t good. I’d get anything backed up that isn’t, and retire the disk ASAP.
There are tools you can run to see the hdd health. Even if they turn up good, I still wouldn’t trust a hdd that started to make a new noise
However in my life I’ve never had a hdd or ssd fail (touch wood). Well I had one, (or wife did) but that was from a dropped laptop. So I don’t blame the hdd. Also the laptop was under warranty, and dell done a hdd swap on my doorstep. Them days dell gave you all the os and driver disks (how times change) so as I said I was capable of installing the os, they had no issue with a straight hdd swap on the door step and I’d install windows.
I could of waited an extra day or so and a tech would come out and do it. But that was a few extra days wait. Also Dell fixed, at my house, my overheating gpu on my xps1130 almost 4 years into ownership, apparently it was a recognised issue.
So always a fan of Dell. But I’m going back 6 to 8 years ago last time I used them.
It’s also car dependant too. I was given a new astra with AA and it connected once in the week I had it. Apple car play was slight better at 3 times. That was with a pixel And iPhone 7. (maybe 7s I can’t tell iPhones apart)
Ive since tried it out on both a skoda and seat, and the VAG system has worked flawless, with both my Pixel (on skoda) and P20p on the seat.
So I think it’s car and phone dependant. My next car will defo have it. And I have a decent selection of phones to test out on it. Though it will be after the summer.
Atm I’ll just struggle along with my 3rd party Bluetooth. Also I’m not a fan of android auto just on a phone. I don’t really see the point.
We have an a alexa somewhere. Think Thr lads use it, but you can call other alexas that are in your alexia phone book.
Google home ups it one and can call anyone. I’m not sure how it does it, or who pays for thr calls as you can call mobiles and land-line. It’s really good tbh,
They can do that as they have the power. We sadly can’t as we are dependent on them. It’d a shitty situation, that links back to the 70s, when we decided it would be cheaper to use US navel support instead of maintaining our own. Out ships, the majority are peace keeping humanitarian ships.
This is a feature they activated by accedent.
Be is defo a better choice than hillery, but that doesn’t mean he was a good choice.
We issue should be how the hell did they get to them as the only options?
Given we rely on their navy, I suppose we just have to ‘keep on, carrying on’.
We hardly have the best leadership ourselves.
It’s far quicker to make a boot ale USB stick. Ms have their own tool, think it’s called Windows creater tool.
Probably the same tool you used to make the dvd. But the USB loads sooooooo much quicker.

Nice, I love a time lapse. Last time I went around EU, I was going to do similar, and just never did. I really should this time. The wife’s sony camera, has a built in function to do it, but it turned out a bit bulky.
I now have a dash cam, I could use or I may (and probably the simplest way,) use my old pixel. The night shots should come out good too..
I do like to clay bar my car, (it’s cheap of amazon) sort of relaxing and very satisfying. It’s amazing how much dirt is left on paint. And how smooth the paint feels afterwards. Then a good Polish and hard wax and the car is good for a good six months. With just a hose wash and a spray wax.
Sadly me now have building going on right near where I park, (up wind from the cars). So my car hasn’t had a proper clean since October. Cba putting the effort in for it to be full off dust the next am.
I did take it to the Polish place when the sun come out. But that’s about it until the builders frig off.
Good luck to your wife and yourself Richard ?
The only only ozzy I have issue with parking is Wrexham. Both Glan Clwyd (I go 3 plus times a week) and Bangor probably once a month, I never have issue with parking. Bangor is my fav to visit, as the carpark to hospital ration is the best out of all the ozzys I visit. Always space on the back top carparkm
Glan Clwyd if it’s near visiting time, can fill up, but that’s excapable . I still don’t get why people park outside the ozzy during the day, just to fey tickets. There is always space, the pace is covered in carparks.
The one in Manchester we go (Christies iirc) , probably evey 6 to 8 weeks, is paid, and never had space. Ever. Tbh I’m yet to actually find a proper carpark it’s just small sections scattered around the complex. Though there is a great old cemetery close
Wrexhams carpark seems large, and it’s sprawling, but never in all my time have I found a space. I usually park, and stay in the car, around the back where the laundry vans pick up drop off, and just move out their way as needed. Or I’ll just go and park on the local cemetery and have a nap.
Gabaowyn (the one i go yearly) is an out layer, it has great car parks but is pay and display. But the hospital is so efficient I’ve never had to pay, as every time Ive drove in someone has been driving out with unexpired tickets, and handed it me. So I can’t recall ever paying over the last 10 years. I think the people at 9am pay them the tickets are just handed around all day.
Wow, I could write a book on hospital car parks, and where best to park of full.
Thankfully zero ozzy trips this week. But over all I’m yet to see these unintended concequences over parking, and I’m there often.
I’d rather have to spend 5 mins looking for a spot, than the oppersite, where staff and long term patients can’t afford to park on the carpark, so the streets around the hospitals get filled up, upsetting locals and causing some traffic issues (all legal, thr illegal can have tickets) , leaving a half empty carpark, just Sat there cos of its expence. Irrc the CP was about £3 for half a day, that adds up fast if your going often. Not the biggest of deals if you go once a week, but alot of people need to go every day. Workers, patients , and family.
I got my mates of Ebay, they are thicker, and better looking with the offical GTC badge (cough copy right rip off) , and colour match. All 4 for £30 iirc.
After 40k, only a bit of wear where my right heal sits. However it’s double layers in that area, like a sacrificial bit. I’d never by oem set.
It’s like the boot net, dog guard, the cup holder ashtray etc.. All overpriced crap.
The only ‘extra’ that does make me think ‘maybe’ is bootliners. But even then it would have to be a car that a dog can travel in lake some hatches, or an estate. My current set up is the sit on the back seat with doggy seat belts (a lead with a male seat belt buckle on.)
If they are dirty a blanket out the boot is chucked across the seats. Luckily my dogs don’t malt. One of the reasons we choose them. I spent my youth hoovering stirs everyday. 3 German sheps, I’m not repeating that.
The badge badge came after the car. Took her about 3 years, to get the disability or whatever it is. It lives in the glove box as our car is the only one she goes in.
Re the rules I’ve never looked them up proper. I found out about London when I was paying one day, and I found out about the tolls stuff at the same time. Other than that, we don’t really have a need for it. She gets dropped of at the door of wherever we are going, and I’ll go and park.
Sometimes it’s the best 3 mins of the day, pure silence lol
What does annoy me a little is people that use the badge and the spaces, that don’t have movement issues. I know they have a badge, and may well have an awful disability. But if it was me, I couldn’t take the space if I could walk fine.
Just cos you can, doesn’t mean you should.
I’d die of shame if I was parked in a disability spot, even if I was escorting the wife, and an oap or disabled person stopped and asked why I was there. I could point to the badge and tell the to f-off, (I’ve seen it done), but I’d just die of shame, and move the car for someone who needs it.
I think of it as if it was my wife wanting to get somewhere, I’d hope she could get a space, and thst someone who has an escort driver would move for her.as the escort driver is fine to walk 100m extra.
That’s how I see it. Also if your blind and driving, I’d let them park close to.though I doubt there are many blind drivers.
