I’d assume that there is video snip its of how toos in the infotainment system.

They would of loaded them on via the file explorer. The fact that you can access it will be left over from that.

The reason why the hand break will disable it,is because they (legislators /imsurers) won’t want you to watch the ‘how too’ snippets in the infotainment system.

So I doubt the system was ever meant to watch your own videos. It’s gist left over code, that probably should be gone, or they simply never though people would use it, so its left over for system checks/updates.

Yes Bob, that is the whole point of the St georges footy place England opened up. Untill soulthgate go one had actully used it in the way it was designed for.

And I reckon it’s just an accident, given it should really be sams team atm.

I’m liking that the good turn out on Leeds, had opened up the conversation of getting Eng on the road again.

One possible issue I’ve not seen made is, that I reckon for the sale of Wembley to go though the FA will sign up for a number of England games per year, for probably 5 or ten years.

But I’d love for them to tour again. Bring London FC to the people, and us northerners may see it as England again.

Excited for the World Cup now. Having footy withdrawals. (still waiting on Fekir! It’s been a long day of checking Google news.)

It’s states usb recording so it should work. And enclosures are cheap.

If it doesn’t work Large USB hdds are relatively cheap, I have an Samsung 1tb job that was about £40 2 years ago. And it’s quite amazing how many movies will fit on 1tb. Totally overkill for a DVR but the price form 500gb to 1tb is a couple of pound at most.

The city style of play, as well as Liverpool is all about hitting spaces, and trusting that your team mate has done his job properly  by filling the space.

So there is alot to your wife’s point. At city he just had to know where he is, and where he needs to put the ball. For England, given they have minimal training time, they can’t play tins way, and may highlight any flaws. Flaws is a bed choice tbh.

For the reasons above, Germany in 2000 iirc, got all their teams to agree to a standardised way of playing, that way the national team can play the same system, and anyone brought in (the best in each position), already have the set up memorised. It’s why they are so good.

As our clubs are all privately owned  (unlike Germany 50+1 rule) our FA can’t get our clubs to play a single style.

I don’t understand why, when all new builds seem to come with solar panels, they don’t also have battery banks built in, and home electronics don’t run from 12V etc. Surely it would be safer, and bulk buy discounts from the big home builders would make it affordable?

That’s what I think. I’d go further, require all new builds, where possible, to have PV(solar) and id make batteries probably optional, as they are quite expensive still, but mybe some tax incentives

Also any house sold, incentives the sellers to have PV and maybe a battery. If this happens withing 40 years, we’d probably need one main power national station ticking over feeding , a hand full of battery substation, when the networks home PVs arnt keeping the sub stations batteries topped up.

Then we would be a self sufficient nation. Not needed in to import power from abroad. One less thing to have to go to war over. Oh wait, that’s the main reason we do it. Oh and to keep selling weapons and systems to others.

I’m sure we’ll find a new war reason. Water maybe. Yeah that’s good enough. Water.

Also there is studies now that think the EV cars will one day act to in fill any dips in try grid.

Ive just thought of a great video from an real EV ran closed estate. The guy from scrapyard wars hosts it. I’ll try and look it up, may fail thou as it’s late

I couldn’t find the exact video, but this is the channel. I suspect many here will like it. Scrap yard ways guy, and 5th gear guy. (I’m great with names)

We just had 69m turned down for Alisson to, we will settle in 75 is my guess, And Dembelles name had started to pop up too.

I don’t know where the money is coming from atm. I’ve never known us to spend big. It’s been an expensive year for the owners.

Li see Amazon has just amonced its picked up a PL broadcast package. It’s just a small one, but an interesting one. As they will simultaneously be streaming all the games played on 2 of the following options 2 midweek games nights or 2 bank holidays. They have to pick days across the season

Se we will have some type of multi games match. A strange deal, but I bet this is ad much the PL dipping it’s toe in the online distribution, as much as a test for Amazon too.

Oh and Amazon are just lumping the games in the thr prime cooking pot. So no extea fee.

Although I see Google or FB eventually broadcasting every game live, and archiving them. Selling us either full PL passes, team passes, day passes, euro passes ect… Lots of entry points, and the targeted marketing will be a massive deal as both Google and FB can sell millions of small micro custom  adds, where as traditional tv can only sell about 25adds a game.

Id happily pay Google or FB if I must, to get all PL games for 50£ a month or even 30-35£ just for my club. Plus the euro packages if needed that year

I think that’s the future. Maybe not even selling the set up to say Google, but getting Google to be the distributor and gate house, but the PL selling direct, and pay Google a service charge. It would have to be cheaper to rent out Google space or amazon space than build and maintain a world wide infostruture.

1 watched with half an eye, and we seemed OK.

Matched finished and I then seen the news that lfc have got Fekir for “just” 48m. So a good night for English football.

                    Medical tomorrow.

I couldnt get your link to work ed, but is that gpu one of those stupidly expensive ones? If so, I’m going to mention LLT again. They got one and tested it against either against a titan pro or the to gtx1080 (think the former) and there was nothing in it. Or nothing worth twice their cost or more.

The issue now is trying to get a decent gpu for a decent price. The folders are killing the high end market. Gpu and ram is silly money  atm.

Linus tech tips done a good video of the diminishing returns of ram. I think they concluded the drop off after 32gb is big, after 64gb the return is almost nothing

Only go above 64gb if the files you are using are above 64gh (probably 40gb knowing Windows overheads etc..).

Basically if you know you need more, you’ll know you do. If you don’t know, you don’t need more.

On LLT they do alot of 4 and 8k recording, and that eats ram, and I think he even questioned if they needed so much. And then have a hand full of editors all accessing the main server pc all day. They have some mental setups. Severs Google would want list after (probably).

Bob, you of been able to 800m with the SA80, with ease. It was a very accurate, when it went off! Also you could carry more rounds, as the 5.56 is much lighter and less bulky.

The SLW which was an SA80 with a longer barrel, average Joe could hit a small grouping at 600m a good shot a grouping at 800m

Each 8 section would carry 6 rifle men, 1 LSW, and 1 GPMG. One of the rifle men would carry a LAW94  (that is probably upgraded now).

Richard, it was a mixture of design  flaws, and poor engineering. They spent years messing about with it. Officially there is only a Mk1& 2, but there was lots of iterations.

Even the current one, post H&K fix, has been tweaked again. It’s been a while since I looked into this, I return to it every now and then. But there is a few youtube channels that focus on weapons, and he was pointing out slight diffences between even the new models.

Both the ka and the 500 (same car) are very safe. A friend had a 500 and had a proper motorway crash, rolls the the lot, she walked away. So in that regard I like them. Especally for my kid or my mother etc..

But my God they are crap. The unless your getting the torturous beposta (spelt wrong) 500,witj uprated suspension, they are terrible gutless things. The 1.3 engine, is good to 40. Then it’s a whole load of nothing. Lots of gear changing to keep it going, and they drink fuel as well. If your lucky you get a combined 45mpg.

And the front suspension (iirc a French design) is prone to falling apart. My local mechanic, talks about how bad they are, and how may ka and 500s he had in.

I’d take the first gen ka all day, and the first gen 500 all week. However I’d give my girl the new 500 all day long.

My girl now wants an original mini. I told to by a new is fiesta instead. I’d want the mini too tbh, but given the size of the cars on the road, a mini isn’t standing a chance in any crash. Even bikes are now bigger and heavier than then lol

I really don’t like the new 500. And don’t get me started on the big 500!?

Bob tell your girl to get the outgoing finest, with the 1.2litre 3cly engine with the ST line trim. Looks the business, but the insurance want kill her. Same with Vx the 2 door corsa (the 4 door is for oap women that bingo) similar 1.2 engine, just as good, and with there sports trim option (don’t know its name) that looks similar to a vxr, but with out it’s 200bhp engine.

To nice cars, that are cheap to insure, look sporty and young, and millions was produces, so upkeep will be cheap.

I do quite like the Vx Adam for a kid, but never looked into them.

I seen that last night too, as good as it looks and will be, it won’t go anywhere. Far to niche a product. It will be expensive, and probably no carriers will carry it.

If a carrier picks it up, it may be a different t story, but even then, it’s so niche, and so highend, I just don’t see it working out.

And all the add ons, they will be very expensive. on top of that, the games that would take advantage of this is minimal. Fortnite, and pub g maybe. I don’t like the new Switch, but if your a gamer that,(or a ds I’d take the ds) and a phone would be a better option.

Although I’d take one tomorrow. Hopefully in normal use it inderclocks itself, as even with a 4kMah battery it’s not lasing a day At over 3ghz and all the ram.

My P20p has 4kMah battery, and it’s amazing how long it lasts. I recon for light user, you could get 3 days out of it, with trying. I can get over a day. Which is good, as I just keep it between 20 and 80, usually just plug it in for 40 mins when it hits 30 percent, which will take it past 80 easily. Fast charge FTW. The pixel was good, the current fast charge is great.

In the 90s, we had the best the rifle, however only in the right conditions. Snow or sand was a no no, as was mud. So as long as your going door to door it’s was fine. Or maybe a lab.

Soldiers would have nightmares of stoppages. I’ve seen and done; been in the middle of an ‘incident’, and got stoppages so stubborn to clear it you have to roll on your back, make it (half) safe (remove mag) then have to hold the rifle by the barrel and use your heal to force the clocking handle back to its resting position, forcing the jammed round into the its chamber. This can take alot of kicks/stomps.

This is super dangerous for many reasons. Not just cos you could shoot yourself very easily doing this, also disrupts the fire maneuver flow, and of course no soldier want to me stationary for up to 60 seconds..

To imagine it, think about seeing someone lying on their back, fighting with a broom stick, wile being shot at. This wasn’t uncommon at all, in mud and the desert.

In the snow and mud, it would build up behind the trigger so you couldn’t pull it. So your arse would fall out, that your trigger refused to pull.

Also one I’ve only heard off, is the magazine housing lock is on the left side of the weppon, the side that goes against the body, there was many reports of people accidentally ejecting their mags without noticing.

There was many more issues too. But the weapon is very good, any fool could hit a person at 4-600 meters with it. When it fired! Very little recoil and light.

It took the mod about 10 years to get all the bugs fixed, on top of the 10 plus year the sa80 was in development . that’s on something as simple as a rifle.

We go the Germans to fix it in the end.

So yeah, I don’t hold much hope for them fixing ships and jets. And the more complex these things become, I have to think the less their life span will be. In 15 years time, will they just be scrapped, instead of retro fitted when it’s time to upgrade? It hot like the old days when they could just bolt on an updated radar for instance.

Even back in the 80s, they had issues with retro fitting. In the fualklands half the sea dart (iirc) missile defence unit just dint work. The software kept saying no.

They are all good in their own right. Personally I always like a darker theme to look at, but then the colour combo is depended on the project or product your selling.

So sadly no help form me.

Though number 8 jumped out as one I didn’t like. Although I only looked down as far as about 25. Before I determined, I wouldn’t have a throng to contribute.

Any modern consumer unit that controls something as volatile as a big battery, should be very locked down. 99.9% of users would burn their houses down.

I bet for the 0.01% their are more enthusiast level controllers, probably ment for devs, that one could play with and dial into exactly what they need/want.

A bit like a BT router vs a the likes of Routers is lot buy. The BT is fine, as long as your uses is like the average person. Once you go off piste, is when you see it’s limitations.

I’d be in the 99.9% when it comes to charger controllers for my home. I have a basic understanding, more than the average person, but that is a very dangerous petition, one who thinks he knows enough but doesn’t. Its fine if your playing with a ras pi for instance, but not a 6kw potential bomb. So I would be fine with the BT equivalent controller.

They are all now doing some sort of scrappage scheme bob. So if she is going for new, she doesn’t have to stick with kia.

The scrappage schemes work well for small cars, as that extra 2k, helps elevated the intital grand you loose when you drive it off forecourt. Plus their deprivation isn’t too bad. Given they are not that expensive (as if 10k isn’t expensive lol) to start with.

It’s been along time since I’ve built a good PC. I love the shopping part, really geek out. Then when all the tiny boxes arrive it’s like exams.

I suppose it’s how women feel when they enter a cloths shop. In the old days of mm, I liked nothing more than picking out my dream pc parts, then the ones I could afford ?.

It was a sad day when they dropped them adds.

Shame it’s not your rig dave, but there should be a nice bit of profit in it, and it’s always just fun to play with the big boy toys, instead of the usual business pc. Build to a tight budget.

I see the second browser is made by a dev from Zaragoza. Went two years ago for just two nights. Going back next month for 4 nights as a stop off as we travel south. As the place is stunning.

(actually it may be as we are going north, on our way back from the south. I can’t recall which direction atm. You wouldn’t thing I planned and booked it).

Browser looks OK, but I’m good with Chrome.
