Happy birthday .
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. He was driving to family and then isolated.
The issue is the press and him being incapable of just telling the truth up front.
Totally agree Ed. I’d put the in the same box as elite forces. Just a different type.
Given thier work, maybe they shouldn’t have their personal mobiles with them while on duty.
I can’t see why the military ever let it become the normal. I was serving when mobiles was becoming main stream (1997), by about 99 we all had one (all useless and expensive). We was never allowed them with us when in uniform/on duty.
Maybe once you become part of the upper tier elite you should just not have a mobile. After all you do go home, where your kids sleep every night! So if not for country, do it to keep your family safe.
Ios is the platform it isn’t on, and that’s because of apples rules regarding the way apps are allowed (or not) to sell products through them.
Basically, if you haven’t got much clout, you want be allowed to sell through your app. However it wouldn’t be hard for G force to get around this give its a subscription service. So it has two options, 1. When the app first starts ask if you have an account, if not tell tlyo you have to go to Gforce site to cheat a site (couch set up the sub), then go back to a app and sign in.
2. (the proper way) When the app first starts ask if your a new or existing customer, if not let you create an account in the apple app and set up the sub in in the app also. This just means apple will take their 20% of £5 Month. Usually the company in question will charge you the customer the majority of the 20% extra that they lose.
Given they haven’t launched on ios, their biggest potential market yet may say they arnt planning on, or it may be G Force using the windows and android market as beta testers. This isn’t as bad as it sounds as both them markets arnt as picky as the ios lot. Mainy down to ios apps are usually done that bit better. And they don’t have the gulf of geeky apps that one needs patience for.
Tell I’m bored and tired, I’m rambling.
Seems fine to me.
The new biz interest is on hold ,to say the least. It could be worse.
Google duo, offered the the best picture out of the free voip services and its very straight forward to work, plus cross platform. What’s apps picture quality is poor.
They defo would have, as soon as they knew supply was dropping. Trying to compensate on the potential profit drop.
Nothing like turning a bad situation into profit.
The world is on lock down, so production has been stopped in China since Chinese New year. It was forecast that memory chips would be going up in price.
I had to drive to Manchester on Saturday gone. Collecting my lad from the airport. Motorway almost empty, mostly trucks, straight in and out, 2h round trip with a wait at thd airport.
A normal weekend trying to tenter north wales can be difficult (one road in), a bankholiday however, means avoid the inbound motorway at all costs. You could be hours taking a normal 20min drive.
It was a bit surreal. It was travelling midweek at 3am, but at 12pm bank holiday afternoon.
Shame my lad had to admit defeat on Aus, but he has an open return hoping he can make it back there. Thou it looks like it will be New Zealand, when this blows over.
Lol I my girl sleeps like that when hot. She has less hair on the underside so makes sense.
But yes, hardly dignified. Lol.
You should swim it Bob. 👍
Beer is one thing I don’t need more off 😕
I remember that when it happened. Sure it got spoken about on here.
I spoke about it somewhere.
It looks like the Americans actually bought the shipment from Russia.
Looks and feels OK my end
Great news Bob 👍
I’d put Bristol down to rail links.
Far far to late now. South Korea nailed it, by implementing phone tracking from almost day 1.
It was that effective they traces the source to a church flock. And sent out msgs to all possible people that could of potentially come into contact with any potential carrier. All these people was tested (via drive though clinics. Of you passed you was fine, if you failed your past movments was traced and then others was contacted to come in for tests.
They had the advantage of the mers outbreak and the infrastructure in place.
To implement it here now is useless. At best a pr stunt.
Korea is the blue print for the future, on how to deal with outbreaks
