That’s a shame. The whole changing of the clock things I’ve always found pointless. Though today all clock change themselves, so I sometimes don’t notice.
Anyone been watching the 3 men in a pub youtube series. It’s quite good at outlining some issues of leaving the EU.
I have tried to find some pro brexit stuff, but everyone I’ve watched, have no stats or facts to back up theirs BS. Just alot of slogans, and feelings. I want to find a good pro brexit, as I’d like to see why people still want it. Feelings don’t count. I don’t even care for my own feelings. I like facts and figures.
Lol, I’m saving my jobs for retirement lol.
I always recall the joke from Romesh Ranganathan (yes that was c&p)
I don’t need to be the best husband, just slightly better than the impartially of devorce. Lol
The cheap way would be to take out a basic photo shop sub, do your photos in that month, then cancel. Iirc about £10 it will cost.
PS may be expensive if you don’t use it often, but 10-20£ jumping in and out to fix a batch of historical photos would be cheap at 10 times the cost. So in thst respect. The subscription model works for us that just dabble.
Now if gimp has a similar pluggin/feature then that’s the way to go. But cos I learnt PS first, I just can’t get onboard with Gimp. I’ve tried many times
Great news on your health bob. I bet half the reason youre feeling better is, you don’t seem to have the time to be ill . Whatever it is, keep it up.
Us and the US are the poster child’s of evil now.
I was just watching some RT (yes it Russian bias), but it’s really interesting how they was painting our politicians as morons, and the referendum as frogilent. Or rather fought on frogilent terms. I cant deny that I didn’t agree with them.
The whole world is now looking at us as morons. We (royal we) are Sat here thinking the EU are the baddies, but the EU and the rest of the world are looking on thinking WFT are they doing.
Like me, they can’t fathem why we are committing economical suicide. It’s totally madness. Was is even funnier, Wales is propped up by the EU, but they voted to leave too. Madness.
Turkeys voting for Xmas, comes to mind. Oh well we are on the train now, let’s see where it stops.
Thinking of trains, the up side will be the daft h20 or whatever it’s called, should be shuttered now. Stupid waste of cash anyhow. Spend it getiign every on gigabit up and down Internet. Better than saving 30mins on a 3h train trip.
Sadly that looks true. The WTO is going to be a hell of ride. Far easier to negotiate with 27 nations than about 160. We will be on 3rd party tarrifs for about 15 years.
That final was v Liverpool, and was the start of their domanace. The football play in that final was up there with the speed of play of today’s Liverpool team. It’s a cracking game to watch. Well first half is cagey, but second half is dynamite.
Newcastle probably did you a favour that day bob. It’s a shame you had to go to Wooderson, was it then still over due a makeover lol
Well Done on your result. ? A trip to anfield may be in your future. Recreate the final that never was.
Not used Apple car play, but did once use apple maps of my sons phone. It done the trick but I didn’t like the way it seems to have more writing to follow, than the arrows that Google maps does.
Hard to explain, but I find Google maps is the best for getting alot of info across at a glance.
I use to use waze alot, for trh community aspect, but if I’m gong on a motoway trip I’m unsure off I’ll alway use g maps as that’s (for me) is by far the best at telling you what lane to be in when coming off motoway. The junctions that may have 3 lanes and the road spits ect.. I find Google is always the best.
Though in France it was a little wonky at times, but I think half of that was down to my brain having to also calculate for the oppersite side of the road.
Over all I’ve found apple maps to be my least favourite out of the big map names. That’s not my apple bias either. All I want from a mapping app is fast info at a glance. For me atm Google is top of that list.
My new car will have auto and Apple CP so I’ll be able to join the party. I don’t like or see the point of auto on the phone. Used it a few times. But it’s never stuck with me. Probably cos I set up my book of pod cast before I set off, and if I need a sat nav, I just say “ok goo… Navate to etc. Works every time.
Well the EU can carry on as before, it’s us that won’t if X’s no deal happens.
I predict an 11h extention, then we will accept the EU offer of entry to tje free mark on their terms. Acceptance of the European court of HRs, and the free movement of prople. But we will not be part of the EU.
So basically carry on as before, but with less control. Good job brexiteers. You actually gave away more ‘soverenty’ !
So yes I agree, everything will just continue as it.
May of been Google giving you a hit to have a chill for the week
Nail Polish remover should do the trick. Pound has has it in a link bottle.
Failing that, or if you don’t want to get some. a stanly blade, and scrap it off trh way you would paint off glass.
A bit of a random one, but if you have any break fluid in your garage/shed, or just dip a wrag in your cars resoviour.thats meant to be really good at distroying car paint work so that may be worth a shot. It’s free, and may delve the elbow work of scraping it off.
If the glass is actully perspex, non of my above methods shold be tried.
That’s outrageous at £22. My first was 30gb for about £150.
One of the great things about loving thank pads is they jiat ain’t hip. Many won’t by them because of the “old fashioned” looks as my son says.
I don’t care, I just love the keyboard and the nub. I really don’t care how it looks.
No diy, been super lazy since I got home from my hols. Did by an new atifty as the old one got dropped just before we went away by me! Enjoying as I never drop shit, and the thing I do is worth a fortune, and used often.
The biggest achievement of the weekend was going the Brighton game, and us winning, while city dropped points.
Ive been thst lazy I’ve not even caught up with the F1 I missed while I was away, so couldn’t watch yesterday’s race and now have to avoid the results untill I catch up.
No diy or illness related issued this weekend. Oh except my son who is a trainee pharmacist, was run over on Thursday going to work, (hit and run). Knkwked him unconscious, so he was kept in ozzy for scans xrays, just a bit of head brushing and some scrapes, nothing broken. He was release Saturday morning (lucky as my footy trip was almost cancelled). But he is fuming as he missed all the bank holiday weekend Sat I’m bed, being looked after by a 10 year old girl. He is really board now, and has been told he shouldn’t go work for 7 days. He is gutted he informed boots of this, as he wants to go back work. Bright side, if he is bored come mid week, I have some diy crap Ive been putting off lol. Jokes aside he was quite lucky.
The lad is 24, from the way his mother acted you’d of thought he was ten. I also got in trouble as she was at her friends in Liverpool, I was picking her up Thursday afternoon, so thrusday morning when I ended up being called from the hospital, and ford out it was not life of death, I decided to not inform the wife.
my thinking was why ruin her short trip, Especally as im collecting her 10 hours later. Aparantly that wasn’t the right call! I must of forgot her years of (non)medical training! It not like informing her asap would of changed the outcomes, and only given her stress.
So I got shouted at, as did he for being ran over, an he did again for ringing me and not her. So he got it twice. Lol.
I’m with Ed, keep it a secret. Lol.
This won’t help you bob, but I gave up on having a printer that could do photos, mainly cos I would weeks if not months with out printing one, then the ink would be dry or other issue. I found getting a basic mono laser printer is the then best thing I did. The cart last forever, and it always works when needed.
For photos, I’ll either go boots, usally for kids school prentations or yearly make a family photo book with whatever online service has can offer on. Probably costs me £25 a year for photos, which I find cheaper and less time consuming than printing my own photos.
Numberphile youth be channel, a must for all things computing and geeky. Has a great series on cyphers and cryptography. They go deep in to the type x, enigma and colossus, the over the counter tech that enigma was based on, and the work that the poles done that Bletchley used as a Base to work from.
Ed, we can only go so far in making somthing safe. The recycle centre is responsible for the safety of their staff. I think this subject is being over thought.
I just want to make sure they make it I’m the bin waggon without cutting anyone. Also the waging is filly of curbed class and metal, so it’s dangerous anyway.
Jb if youre really concerned. Put them in a used coffer jar with lid in (write blades inside). then once they get to a recycle centre if they are hand picked, the person can easily sort them.
One coffee jar shoudlckastvyiu ten years to full.
I do exactly what PM does wrap them in duct tape, no cardboard. Failing that a bit of paper then celotape.
Mainly just so the kids or dogs don’t get cut. Ad once they leave the house. The bin wagon is full of dangerous stuff, so I wouldn’t worry too much if you haven got kids of pets about.
Ed under WTO 3rd party rules, we could trade with zero export tarrifs, however if the country we are importing from is a WTO or EU (by extension ) so most of the world, have to, by the terms of WTO tarrifs, add the 3rd party tarrifs to an they shipped to us.
So our manufacturers then would be paying daft taxes (tarrifs) on the things that make their final product, but then be expected to export it elsewhere with zero tarrifs. This would devastate our manufacturing. Especally given most of it is foreign owned, it would be more dost officiant to move it into the EU. Which why they picked us originally.
So we will need to match the silly tarrifs to offset the tarrifs set on us. The tho still has a huge negative impact on manufacturing. As if I build a widget for 100£ (let’s say a car astra) and so do the Polish (as they do). On April the first Poland car will still be priced at £100, where as ours, will cast the world £125-160. Who does jinny foreigner by from us or Poland.
This has been discussed to death over the last year, but the Brextremists would just call it more ‘project fear’.
But what do we expect, when the guy running the whole brexit campaign said “we are sick of professionals opinions.” live on the BBC.
