Yes pm it was the P20p I tried it on, but in the site it does mention tablets alot. So  I just assumed it was for tablets only. I didn’t have my other phone (pixel) or tablet (hudl2) to hand with any charge in to test.

It was the simplified version. It comes down to what the buyer is willing to pay at that current moment.

Quick books is nice. But at 15 a month not cheap. But it is simple.

The buyer do. It’s a simple supply and demand thing, as supply is restricted, the buyers dictated the price. Same as share prices.

Now if you held a ton of coins, and you dropped them all on the market at once you could crash the prices. Same as a nations currancy (see George soros black Wednesday for example).

It’s basically betting. I missed the ship on bit coin to get in early, decided to fold under mms names instead of rendering a few coins.in those days 2009, you got handed either a 100 or a thousand coins just for signing up and completing one hash. The coin then was worth about a tenth of a pence. Now about £10k a coin. ?

We should take on the euro. Doesn’t really matter either way. In a decade or two, cash will be dead anyway. So it will only be a symbol on a screen.

That’s my reasoning Dave, they are good if you have a purpose for them. I said POS and I’d class that as a dedicated monitor too.

They are good at looking at documents and pdfs too. If I have a loday to go through, I’ll use the Hudl2. By far my fav tablet I’ve owned. The girls hauwei is better, bit I like the feel of thd hudl2. It feels nice in the hand. Good size for docs too.

They must be, very similar to the vac, and almost evey office block has an army of them. Thr henry just borrowed the dry half of the vax, a simple yet good design, and with out the cost of adding the wet system.

Never owned one, but given their numbers in trade I’d imagine they are serviceable too. Which is a win win.

My mum for hears had a liedown metal cylinder system by hoover (dark brown an baige) she swore by, iirc it way her Nan’s, and she kept that going untill about 1997, when she was given a Dyson, and instantly hated it. Think the had it fixed about 3 times in a year. And hated she could not do it herself.

I’ve never used a tablet and thought it was a worthwhile bit of kit. Especally as phones are now 6 inch and laptops weight nothing (if youe into that), so where does the tablet fit it?

When I had the iPad 2, I had a note2 (huge for its time at 5.4 inch iirc and my 13″ thinkpad.

I just didn’t kiel the iPad. I thought it was cos of ios, as is was dog shit back them, but I’ve since owned (still do) a few tablets (even in windows 8 (now 10)one, all for me are crap.

I can see them good for the likes of how mcdonalds use them. Or as point of sales devices. So mostly android. But as a work or even entertainment device the laptop and phone both beat them out?

My phone now is I think 6.2inch. I stopped counting around 5.8.

I recall my with having the sgs1 (about 3.8” screen) I came in with a HTC one x, at 4.8″ and she laughed for a week at my clown phone. She now has a P20 which is about 5.8. Hypocrit. Lol.

The older style vax are trh way to go. They are that popular almost every part is still being made and sold on Amazon and eBay. Ours is like triggers broom

Also it’s just a dam good vacuum. I wa never sold on the wet side of it, and long lost them parts, and not bothered re buying them but we have zero carpet now anyhow

Vax also manes a good shop vac, when you are decorating and you set up a small woodwork station. Ours have been battered, been through a handful of housr referbs. And still with us. Well the bicket/chassis is probably the only thing still original, but to me, having a simple serviceable machine is a massive plus point.

I recon you could keep one going for the rest of four  life. The only issue they have over never designs is they can be awkward, but that’s not an issue for me. I rarely use it ?

When we had the ipad2, I really liked apple University. I thought it was the only decent thing about it tbh, and something Apple really undersold.

Back then there was no file managers or files, so it was a useless toy. However they ipad two was built like a tank, and the battery was great. At 5 or more years old it would still get 5h between charge.

The only reason it got shelved by my girl after about 6 years was she messed about in the settings and locked herself out. As we logged into it 6 years earlier, I had no idea of the username, email or password, so we couldn’t prove the ipad was ours, so it is softwear bricked.

Now given its age, it was slow, and basically a youtube machine, so I replaced it with a huawei tablet, that looked like mum’s P9 phone. Great sound omg. It’s still a youtube machine.

Apple uni is defo worth a look.

If I thought something was bad, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Seems a very bitter mindset to have. Not one I’m familiar with.

However if many turned up, I’m sure we’d get competing food outlets and that can ultimalty only be good for the consumer, and it will be more job creation.

All my kids (older ones) all had their first jobs 14-18 (and some older in uni breaks etc) at an Indian place, in Llandudno, so anything that brings in jobs for the young is excellent.

All joking aside, I have family back home (old Swan) in the city, there is loads of imagints, form many places. No one or very few, have issues with them. I think its doent to the type of propel the locals are. Also Liverpool, even with its imagints vote very much to stay. Ad it sees the benifit trh imagrants are and the benifits of being nart of Europe and mainly the benifits of someone keeping an eye on Westminster.

Liverpool is more a city that looks forward out to sea, than backwards towards the land.

                                    @grahamdearsley what’s coming to us?

We need another Chinese family. The ones that had the local chippy moved out about 5 years ago, and a Welsh girl took it over, so I’d like either a Chinese or Indian family in my village.

Actually that’s how we could solve this. We could get all the village la and towns to put notices up that lack any ethics. The all the ones in these places, all together, and not integrated, with little to no work, can all start eateries where there is non. Then as they will be ‘alone’ they will have to mix in.

                                    By golly, I’ve got it.

Wembley is bad doesn’t meant the rest of the nation is. A few suburbs of a few cities.

I lived in a city, didn’t like it much, (noting to do with immegration, it was crime and I’d just started a family), so I moved to an area that suited me better. Low crime, (never lock the doors or car. (though the car is a roll over from living in a city, I’d rather they opened the door than smashed a window), violence low, and had an outdoor lifestyle which I prefer.

So if Wembley is so bad, move somewhere that suits your personality better. I never get it when people moan about a small set of issues that can easily be solved.

I went wembely in 1992. Never liked the ground. Coach in and coach, so never seen the place. But was amazed at the shops under the stands. Old grounds up north wasn’t like that then, not to the extent. Also first ground I’d been that had a 400m around it. And from that day hated the set up (poor WH fans).

Never got to new WB, but form what I’ve heard it’s worse than thd last one. Which doesn’t bold well for me, given I never took to it).

I’m with Ed, and read economics for 4 years, so have a decent basic understanding of economics, micro, macro and its effects.

Nothing  about brexit added up at the beginning. Mainly because brexit was a movement by many different factions promising crap they had no power to enforce. It’s very much like The lib dems promising free uni for all, easy when you think you won’t win. Then oh shit, you accidentally win and you actually have to do what you promised, but can’t.

Short story it’s easy to promise the world when you don’t really think you’ll win. That is exactly what happened with the vote leave.

They would of been happy with a little run, a 20% vote share. They could of said to the followers ‘we tried’. And probably got a good ten year paid gig trying to further the cause.

But 100 other factions popped up promising even more, each one a different movement with a different view on brexit, and oh shit they actually won.

But won by the fake promises of 100s of small parties (factions) making promises they had no rights too.

Almost every faction dispanded the day after, even the offical vote leave party retired on day one. This just highlights they (MPs) wasnt in it to win.

All the promises didn’t add up, and can’t be serviced. It’s impossible.

Brexit was a mess from day one. The only sure thing is no one will be happy with the outcome, whatever it is.

My view was always the numbers, I don’t care about my political, racial, or ideologies, I look at the bottom line, and that always said stay.

I’m not bothered about immigration, or who makes our laws. Actually I don’t like the job our own lot have been doing for a long time, so I’d happily hamd the lot over to the EU and be a satalite state.

Ive always like the idea of an EU army. If I was 18 and the EU army was a thing I’d be all over a southern France or northen Italy regiment. He’ll yeah.

Edited my terrible spelling. Probably missed one or ten still.
