Sorry I used a foot pump before my current car came with one in the boot, instead of a tyre. It works very well, but niether digital nor can you set it to cut off. I recon looking through amazon’s reviews would be your best bet.

Given a fantastic demo doesn’t exist and can’t ,I doubt it. I’d bet on ours messing it up even more, and it us going crowing back, and getting an even worse deal than we have today. Which isn’t a bad deal at all.

I too like a 5″ phone ed, but I like a 6″ media device. So no matter which I have, I’m both happy and un happy depending on what I’m doing with it.

Though given I do more media than phoning I’ve always (mostly) always gone bigger. Currently at 6. 2 iirc, and my pockets can’t do bigger so I’m defo at my limit. Christ iirc the nexus tablet was 7″ lol.

It’s the thermometer one I was asked about Ed. I think the P is the whole knon, and it has 6 programs, she knew what 5 of them was, grill/grill fan assist/oven/oven fan assist/steam clean/ and then the one with the thermometer in.

I’m thinking it’s somthing to do with an internal probe, that you stick in meat, set your desired temperature you want the meat to reach and then it alerts you. (maybe) .

There is a timer function in the centre of the oven. I may if I get round to it, pop round and Ave a look and take a picture of the full oven and see if I can simply get the model number (would help alot lol) .

The drying out, pre warming maybe a good shout, as I know the oven has a self steam clean function. Though you’d thin with the fan assisted oven, or non assisted setting would do a similar job.

Not sure of the make, it’s one of my FiL OAP friends oven. I’ll just send back that info. Tar folks.

Edit-after a bit of Googling I think it may be a thermometer vector setting, ie a probe you stick in meat, and tell the oven to alert you when your meat reaches the desired temp. Actually a great feature if correct. Didn’t know ovens got so fancy. Shows how much I spend on ovens lol.

But what out do. As this is the oven mkdecselector knob, we have a temoteturecknobcall of its own.

If I turned it to that position, war does it do?

Tempered glass is a must on all pjones. I too have never broken a screen, with having a TG protector.

Also if your phone isn’t towards the high end, it will feel nicer to use as the TG has the coating on them (it name is gone atm) that higher end divises has.

The only down side to TG is it does add glare when out doors. I don’t know if your phone is the older LCD that gets glare any how, if it would make a difference, but if you have a OLED screen, that doesn’t get glare, or rather reduces glare, putting on a TG protector will add glare.

Ive chipped and cracked a few over the years, and it’s when I’m in the car (on sat nav) I notice how much better phones look naked, than with TG on. But it’s not like it adds mega amounts, just letting you know. The benifit for me out do the glare neganive.

I just turned the optimisation off, and I still can’t get the flings to die, so just turn it off. I use a fossil (Explorer iirc) smart watch, which gets all notifications, and can text and call ect. But like you I just use use it for notifications tbh.

My first issue with a real smart watch was tuning what notifications I didn’t want coming to my wrist.

The photo AI, can’t be turned off to, I don’t really get what it does other than boost the colours, which is somthing I hate full stop. And a reason why I don’t use Samsung devices. As you couldn’t (you may now) fully turn down the ‘popping’ screen colours. They seem to see it as a selling point. I’d alway and I did with the P20p, first stop, turn it to naterwl tones. Though Samsungs naterwl mosedcwas sill alway too aggressive. Admitidly when you have it dialled up to vivid (or whatever the name) it makes it look nicer than the screen next to it, when on a shelf, or Sat on a table, but I’d rather have realism than vivid.

So yea turn it off, also the AI data set is too small, it only rconises a few things.or rather bundles everything in to a hand full of categories.

Saying all that, I do love the camera, (not the front 24mpx one) the rear one, it’s night shooting is top draw, and I came from a pixel that had amazing low light shooting. I don’t think it could be improved so much. And it’s that that stopped me going back to my now favoured 5” sized phone..

I was thinking the other day about recommending this phone. I’d like a full review please.

About the only down side, I don’t think it would bother me, is Netflix and iplayer (and a couple of others) are stuck in SD, youtube goes up to 1080p 60fps

Its not a software thing, it’s a licencing thing in the actual encoding, I think it’s hardware locked, so it is what it is. But at 299, for what you’re getting and sd in a 6inch phone looks fine. When I was away I war he’d alot of stuff in sd and lower to save on data, and wasn’t bothered. So I’d happily use one as my main device.

We seem to be back where 1plus was 4 years ago. Top end specs at bargain bucket prices. Also I’m a fan of xiaomi (who I think makes the poco) , I actually use there shart kit stuff which is brilliant and cheap, with one down side, lol, it has voice usage like a Google home, that acts as the hub the all the smart iot crap connects via that. Its stuck in Chinese. So I personally can’t use the Google home side of the device. But do have a Google home next to it, so both America and China are listening in on me lol. Hedge my bets.

But I would like a rundown on how you find it. My knob of son just dropped the price of a decent run about on the iPhone maxi phone. Looks identical to the one he got 12 months ago just a bit bigger. Idiot!

I just don’t understand where or who is has got this habit of waiting cash on stupid tech from ?

I’ve not it had a drink since 5.30 am. I now remember why I stopped drinking rosé. Goes down as fast as lager and you only get two glasses out a bottle. Also had some wonderful cider, that wasn’t as bulbers, but not as sharp as strongbow. It’s issue was it was 8.2%  I can’t recall its name, and my friend is still past out back home. I was up at 9. 30, and on the road home for 12.

Which I probably shouldn’t of been tbh, I wasn’t tired, I fainting of little sleep, but I was feeling rough.

Anyway Lee, have fun, and another for me, cos I ain’t drinking anyone but vimpto and coffee for the rest of my life. Or friday, whichever comes first. ?

WOF good look ignoring a GE vote. You can, but Labour would still have power.

Anyhow I agree, I don’t think it will go to a GE, a second ref is far more likely. That way she gets out of having to push though a leave, she never wanted, and she gains one more year in power, as to the tories.

Whoever was in charge over this plwhole brexit period, no matter person or party, they was on a hiding to nothing.

I have a strong feeling, that when she got the job it was sold to as, who’s is going to almost inevitably kill your career, leave or stay, take one for the team, and you’ll be looked after on The back end. Ie, act tough on brexit, but ultimately back channel and make sure we stay.

The EU ‘idea’ of allowing an extention only if we have a second ref, and have stay on the card is genius for all involved. Thr 52 that wanted to leave, may grow, as some will of decided to swap sides, but I think more will want to go down the leave won, so I’ll want to hold up the decision, so that 52% may grow to 55ish maybe 60% how lever that 60% will be spread over 2 or more exit plans, and the 40% of remain voters is not split. Put 3 leave option on, and leave just can’t win at all. It’s a great solution.

I said before the first ref, a little bit of me wanted leave to win, just to see how they get out of it. The path now looks clear for a remain.

She was all tough and strange yesterday (or Friday) , on her speach, saying no second ref, EU can take it of leave it. It’s an act.

When we have the next referendum, given we will have a couple of leave choices and one remain, we’ll all be saved. ?????

Chris have you looked at the popophone F1, 300£ and had all the whistles. I’ve not looked in to how you get one. Bit worth a look for you if you haven’t.

If you get one and don’t like it I’ll swap you my original pixel 5′ 128gb  Fresh back from Google with a new battery. Always lived in a case and a screen protector.

I’m Sauong this having no idea how much my Pixel is with lol. If it’s a good deal for you, I’d be in.

My Pixel is only with 200 on ebay so scrap trh deal, amazon has the poco ojoen for 265 for the 64gb version. The bigger version has more ram, so you may want to upgrade because of that, but otherwise I’d say 64gb is more than enough space. My 6p was 64gb and I never got near it. My last two have been 128gb,and cos it’s so big I’ve broke 64gb a few times, but thst being lazy in the how work department, leaving 10s of movies on it and a fee full seasons of tv.

Atm I have 81gb free, that’s with 20 movies on show box, 1 on Netflix, and 19 episodes but a few albums in hi def, and half a gig of music.

So no one needs 128gb yet. Unless you want to do alot of 4k recording or the high friamrate stuff which eats memeroy. You really need a 256gb then, even bigger tbh.

I’d want an ssd in it, so unless it’s important to get into windows, I’d chuck an ssd in, cheapest smallest one, 120gb, and put a fresh version of windows on.

I’d try 10 on it first. If that fails 7 or Ubuntu. I use to Like the netbook remix of Ubuntu.

If that fails, If your just looking at sites where you don’t use any credit cards, etc.. I’d set up a wifi guest network (keep it off your main one) and put xp on it. Shouldn’t really cos you could add to the bot issue, but you know enough to keep it safe.

I recon 10 would work thought.

If your b roads are a thing like mine (mostly one lane, with cut outs every 500 metres, that give you room  just, for two average cars. Why would he think such a car is a goer.

Mine is a wide car ad it is, last year one of those silly and dangerous posh pickups. Like a nivara. Met me in the lane, I reversed to the next lay bay, and he still scrapped my rear wheal arch (it is flared), good job we had a witnesses, to say I was perfectly still. The truck driver claimed I was moving too. It got fixed within in a few days. And I got a brand new astra 5 door out of it. I was super underwhelmed with it. Looks way better inside, but drive poorly, and is very cheap feeling. And it had the same electronic bugs my 65 plate old platform car has.

We had too much water on our local b roads to go that way today. Stick to the longer main road tourist roads. Though seasons over and weather’s horific so roads was empty.
