The cia truly come to life with the post nuclear era, a when gun boat deplomacy ended. They needed a legal and non threatening way to invade nations. So they mainly come about in the era of Economic ‘hitmen’ warfare.

A great eye opening book called ‘the confessions of an economic hitman’ by John Perkins, was a revaluation to me, and made the whole world come into focus for me. Its probably the number one book that has shaped my thinking as an adult. It’s a good reader too. A what could be a  dry subject told very well .

Update – Damien Lewis, is the author of Curchills secret warriors.  if I could be anyone form any time period in history, ever, it would be Anders lassen.

To add, while I was in the marines I spent time connected to comacchio group. I never knew at the time where the group got its name from, or a thing about anders life. I’ll let anyone interested read the book and find out themselves. It’s a man and a story every man should know about. Thr book isn’t aimed to be about him, but the formation of the commandos  and it follows them form their inception to the end of the war.

As usual DL does a great job in his telling of these great mens stories. I do live a DL book, Especially  his WW2 books.

Though it is a small world

Tbh I don’t think men mature ever. But to give us a bit of credit, I’d lower that to 30. I don’t think I even felt like an adult untill 30, even though by then I was married, had kids, been a marine, gone back to uni and was self employed.

Probably wasn’t untill my wife first fell ill I felt liek I had to step up. Before then she was the adult, and I just done what she said. Or rather know how far my boundaries was. Though I bet she felt similar. We’re all just sort of winging it.

No one one ever tells you at 18, that you may be an adult, but your a actually far from one.

I understand that, and I’ve said before I vote for the person that I think will help my family, town, country in that order. I don’t care what tie they wear.

My issue here is they ran under red/blue banners, was funded by them, got the perks and the power of that machine behind them. Now they say goodbye but don’t want to give up the power.

I think it’s terrible. Now if they was an independent and moved the otherway to merge with a party so be it, bit it just seems to stink for me.

I’m not even taking what they stood for brexit, no brexit, whatever, I don’t care. For me they should have to rerun under their new banner, or as an independent. Go and win it on their own merit, or under their new management .

It makes a mockery of parliament. And it’s hardly looming good atm is it. No matter which side of brexit, red, blue, yellow, or green.

I think alot of the public see it the way I do to. I think if there isn’t laws/rules in place, and there can’t be, I think this should be looked at closely after brexit and the next ge is over.

Hopefully all the rats are out off office by then too.

Even if a GE was called before brexit was finalised, and they was running solely on ending brexit and staying in Europe, I’d not vote for them. And that is what I’ve been hoping for for a year.

Ive said I’d put party politics on hold for 4 years to vote for duce a party, but not that rabble. I don’t even know what they sand for  except not being racist, but then being racist with 2 hours (which was funny). Apart form that, I have zero interest in them.

If you disagreed with your party so much, either stick around and help modernise the party, or sand down completely. It’s really peed me off.

The lot of them should be stripped of their seats, and they should re run.

Can anyone explain why this isn’t happening. I don’t know the rules, but to me if you run with the power and  party machine behind you, I can’t see how they are allowed to leave, and form a second party. One that now carries the same with as the lib dems.

Win 10 was free for ages, then free again when it wasn’t, then the keys was next to free (like you found) . I have no idea who is paying full price for it.

I suspect enterprise is keeping that product line afloat.

They still have office. Their latest adds for that are bizarre too, as they are telling you to not by the upfront version, and just sub to 365.

They basically bash the shit out of the non 365 version of their own product.look the ads up on YT if you’re interested. They are  a strange approach to marketing as you’ll usually bash a competitors product not your own.

MS confuses everyone atm I think

I  Noticed yesterday she added tjhe 3rd option of no brexit to her hard list of 2, deal or crash out. It made me smile. As I’ve said for two years this would happen.

If anyone cba, (I can’t) , I would of said it a few times over these 50 odd pages. She would be running the time down  to shay not to crash out. She was a remainder aferall.

I recon she was given the job, to mess brexit up. It will kill her career, but I’m sure they will sort her out on the back end. I think that was always the plan. I’ve said it her many times.

And yesterday the 3rd option of staying popped up.

In the opposite I won’t use banking on a pc. I don’t trust windows. I always use the offical app. That way it ain’t my fault if something goes wrong.

One thing I do have set up is when I open my banking app my vpm auto engages, for extra security. I’ve had my banking /ebay/amazon etc… All set up that way since pre ‘firesheep’ time. Even though that was really directed at laptop users on public WiFi.

So basically don’t use public WiFi  and your fine.

But for probably over ten years I’ve not opened my bank on a pc browser. Just use the app the bank provides. If its compromised its their issue.

Though the biggest way of losing money is from telephone payments, your putting all your trust into the hands of the underpaid kid on the other end. I personally like websites that accept PayPal or android pay. As then the site gets zero critical info. And both is just a finger print scan to do make the transaction. No looking for my wallet and  inputting details by hand. Just a simple pick android pay, and fingerprint scan to say yes.

A very sad way to look at things. We are ment to the ones setting examples, meant to be better than the others.

                          ITs a shame.

You have to feel sorry for the guy. You are correct tho, a few years ago this would be a sketch in the ‘it’d not the 9 o’clock news show’ or whatever it was called.

I’ve used Last pass fro ten plus years. Probably closer to 15. As I recall when android launched I had to pony up to the $1pm plan to streamline mobile use via the dolphin HD last pass plug in. The days before a last pass app, or even chrome.

Anyhow, I tell anyone that doesn’t want to use a manager, a notepad is a must, and is probably far safer than a dedicated manager. Even though ten years ago, the current status quo was to tell people to never write them down. Which I always found strange. OK if you work in an office. But for average person at home, a notepad is probably the best way to go.

The res factor on these small screens is over blown. 720p is fine on a 6 inch phone. My girls moto g6 is 720 and is fine.

When I’m out of the house on 4g I watch stuff in 480p on my P20p and it’s more than fine.

Given she is British born, she should be allowed in. Also she may turn out as decent bait for mi5/6, you never know who or what watching her could lead to.

But as she is a citizen  of thd UK, and as far as I know, she never filled out the paperwork to give her citizenship up, so she should be afforded all the protections that gives anyone abroad. If she had given it up officially, then she is on her own.

I don’t like her decisions, but my opinions on that’s isn’t relevant. Just the law. I don’t see why this is even an issue. And as I said above, she could end up being a good source  to monitor closely.

A brit is a brit, no matter what stupid choices she made. Especially given she was a minor when she made her choices.

Everyone need to take their feelings and opinions out of the equation. Nobodys are relevent not even the home secs, they should follow the rules not their personal feelings.

Now if she has give up her passport (officially) then opinions of the home sec are relevent. If not, they are not.

There is alot of crap laws we all have opinions on, it doesn’t make them any less of a law.

Let her back, and monitor her.

Regarding her child, in fuzzy on the laws of giving birth abroad. Isn’t it if your a brit, your child is entitled to citizenship. I know other countries have different laws. Iirc an American born abroad isn’t guaranteed an American citizenship (unless born on a US base or embassy), and if a foreigner gives birth in the US the US can claim the child if they wish. So a brit giving birth in the US could cause issues. Especially as an American can’t hold dual citizenship.

However back to the case in hand, is the kid classed as a brit? In foggy on that. And don’t wish to read through the matter, as it bores me.

I done some test driving timelapses last year. Turned out very well doing a few 40 min drives. Cant find them for the life of me now.

I actually thought it was 7, but 5 is close enough. But the knock on effect to local economy given the size of the area and the high dependence on that industry, is going to be rough.
