Diclofenic pay hell with my stomach. I take, gabapenitn x4 , tramadol x8 and solphadol x8 a day. Been a constant doesage now for about 10 years.

For years I was on codine, but I had a doc that didn’t care and just upped and upped the dosage. When I moved to my current surgery they went mad at my dosage. It took about 2 years to pin a Ballance down, and the key was the gabapenitn.

It’s primarily an epileptic drug , but they found it is good at interfering with the brain and cutting pain out. Also it has zero side effects. You would swear it wasn’t doing anything, untill you run out of them, after about 2 day, no amount of the other 2 I take will mask the pain. It’s good stuff.

Though I’ve never had side effects off the tramadol or solpodol, my BiL once took some of my tramadol for a dog bite (nip), and he lay in the chair saying the walls felt like they was melitng. I’ve never had such a reaction.

Also some say coffee effects them, again only once imy life, have I drank enogjt coffee o felt “gittery” and that was alot of stong coffee on a short sapce of time. I drink normally about 10-15 cups a day. I like coffee.

I like hotspot shield, I was using the free version for years , then about ten years ago jumped on the paid for version, which is $18pa , but suffers little slowdown, I only see slowdown kicking in over about 20meg. Your long takes a hit though. But no bandwidth caps. Or non I’ve run into and I recon half of our 800gb average  a month runs through it.

I use it more and more and more these days. Streaming movies or sport with it never gets issue , and it’s cross platform. You will need to check on Linux thou.

You could use a ras pi and set up a dedicated vpn box. It’s on my to do list.

And Dave, you don’t need to get off a Hollyhead, banger station is a stop or two from Hollyhead which is 250m from the main Bangor building, where your open day will be held. I drove the first year, and got the train the last two.

I went Bangor , uni of Wales as it was , and I do know they have big modern arts and  at the bottom I’m the town, and nursing near the station, but that’s about it, my building (the business centre ) was across from the main building. I loved Bangor, and rents are cheap, I never lived there but drove in each day.

Regarding chineese, the business school is , or was 95%, chineese, so she will have a lotof people to practice on.

The main building is stunning, like Hogwarts, the 60s addition library is an abomination to that glorious building, and someome deserved to be shot for allowing it!

Bangor city itself is tiny, and doubles in population semester time. Also it sits on the boarder for English people, if you venture west or south your not really liked, but Bangor is fine, as is Anglesey . The business centre is placed on the banks of the menai straights, and looks out on Anglesey and the Marine bio school asross the water.

You should go and check it out, it’s nice and small, so more intermate from the larger places or was 15 years ago. Student rent was cheap then, the rent my lad pays now in Liverpool is stupid, and the uni is a massive mess sprawed across the city. Your never 10 mins from walk from the furthest buildings in banger (baring the marine school) , but your girl best like hills .

I’d save one or two a week for long term archive just to be safe.

That 2 years will never come, so I’d stick to the law.

Though the law is unworkable on the net, as you don’t have control of your own data once you put it out there.

Twitter’s t&c on account deletion , says you can delete all or any content, and it will be deleted off their primary server* so you and the world can see it on Twitter, but Twitter can’t stop or delete your data that has migrated off Twitter.

*The primary server is a good choice of words as they need to keep a copy of all trafic for up-to-date 2 years, depending on the contry you preside in. I think taresa may just brought in 2 years for here, it was 6 months.

So really you should keep an archive of all data in a safe, place, as if one of us turns out to be a terrorist etc, you may get a knock at your door for you to hand over the forums records.

I’ve never actually thought of this regarding forumite , but you really need to look into how long your (as I’m you lee) need to keep hold of records.

How big is a snapshot of this forum? If I was you just to me safe, I’d take a weekly snap shot and archive it, on a couple of drives , not in the cloud. Not in the cloud as if some one left, and deleted their contend then a snapshot leaked, you would then be on breach of the data protection act. Which is taken seriously.

But start taking snapshots, at least untill you have some solid advice on it. Don’t just take someone’s word for it. Saving an archive and not needed it is better than not saving it and needed it. Especially as storage is cheap, and I bet a compressed snapshot is small. I’d also encypt you drive with truecrypt or its replacement varacrypt.

I still use TC, it’s good enough for all but a government agency, and your not going to say no to them, so I never moved from TC for that reason.

Only law until we leave the EU. Then it will be up for dispute.

I was thinking of it makes threads disjointed.

Wow I didn’t know that show was still running. I stopped watching about mid way through series 3 iirc (maybe 2), not sure why as I know I enjoyed series one.

I stopped watching the serises where he was hooked on heroin stich in an under building somewhere east . He got back to the US and was off the drug , that was S2 or 3. I may pick it back up.

I think you mean can he take them  out of bankruptcy. I don’t think he can.

The creating of American jobs, isn’t as easy of opening the factories up, I think he is away with the fairies with that idea. Well I think he is mile away from being away with the fairies , but he was just saying what the poor parts of America wanted to hear.

If bill Clinton hadent signed NAFTA and sold thier industry down river, and Obama now divided decided the people so much, there wouldn’t of been this rich vs poor, and race division which trump could slide into.

The current administration is to blame for trump’s sucsession. Obama pommised to bring America together, but he actually divided, putting the contry back 40 years. Trump isn’t to blame for this, he just expoited it.

I do think his lack of political bagidge is his most intesting traight. Isn’t also what got him elected. The people decided, they would rather gamble on different than take another 4 years of the same crap.

Also America couldn’t afford , financially , to keep spending like the democrats have been. Which makes trump’s plans of job creation almost impossible. Have you seen their debt, and the speed it’s risen over the last 8 years! It needs to be stemmed fast.

Like our Tory party, the republicans will take the blame for the last administrations miss handling of the economy.

I just received a BT speaker from the nice Amazon chap, and even though for months I’ve used a BT headset it never dawned on me, that a BT speaker (with mic) paired with a phone (well the pixal) makes almost a Google home device.

As you have figured out how to jerry rig Google now, you could do this with any phone and a decent speaker.

Just had a bit of fun playing with it.

Seems about right for the price of a PC In them days. Shows how far we have come.

That equals around £10,000 today. amazing computing ever took off, especially given, 3months later you’d need to drop another £x hundred on some more hardware , and a full replacement withing a year or so.

You old(er) guys her must of been doing well In the 70s nd 80s to get in to computing.

Don’t delete it, have you seen the war of words going on in America at the moment cos trump detected a tweet for 12 minutes to amend a spelling error. You’d think he hit the red button .

The reader in this case, as you never said , you said you have said your dislike of hillery so doesn’t need repeating, which is accept with out argument .  you said, dislike for female leaders, which is totally different.

So in that case, I’d say you are correct, you need to be more clear im your meaning when you write Richard. But in reality , you have written to totally diffent things.  Accuse  me of some type of perdudice against women leaders, then back track and say , well you have personal grip with hillery.

Btw it’s not personal, oven very met her, and she has done nothing to me or anyone I know. It’s just plains to see, the women is a monster. In case you misinterpret that, if she was a man I’d say the same.

Like I said, stop with the personal attacks on people when you don’t agree with them. It’s very disrespectful. If you disagree with points being made by me, by all means pick them apart, it’s how we as humans move forward. Nothing new is learn by calling people names. The only out come is the name calling will escalate.

I didn’t realise we was fighting untill Richard attacked me. I thought we was having a conversation about how the media pushed it’s own personal agenda.

I don’t think trump is a great candidate. There is probable 200m better suited out their, but he was the best suited out of the choice the people was given. But as the Clinton’s (or Soros) basically runs the media , add to that the media and Hollywood are very liberal they was always going to be democrat leaning.

What always amazed me was, hillery is brobaly more conservative than Donald trump is. He said some stupid things, but he was singing to his middle American choir, his actual past stances on alot of his “positions ” was far Mair liberal in the past.

I think the only one that does conserve me is his stance on abortion, as he does mean what he says there.

Hillary on the other hand down 30 years of her poiticsl career demonising gays and gay marriage, only to do a you turn about 5 years ago and then deny she was anything but for gay rights.

And the women’s lib crap she spoutes is rediculous, where where was this sense of empowering women when she sucseffully defended a child rapist ? One that about ten years after was recorded laughing that she knew he was guilty. Look it up, if you haven’t heard of it.

Also where are we having marched in random with America for women? Out leader is a women, and the most powerful women in Europe is also female. We have sorted out shit out 40 years ago. The match in London and Liverpool (and probably other places )are stupid.

Did anyone notice the Clinton Foundation closed it doors last week. The overseas donations have dried up since the election end. It just g{es to show it was nothing more than a vessel to funnel back handers and bribe . Think cash for honours.

Many conspiracists have theorised this for years, this is not going to make them go away . More fuel.

Anyone ever looked into the non tested and approved hiv drugs the Clinton Foundation was handing out in Africa. When the producer of the drugs was questions, he replied it’s just some black folk. Or words to that effect.

These are just some of the reasons, I couldn’t stomach the Clinton’s.

All the things I mention above , predate the server and it’s leaks by years.

I’m sorry Richard , what do you mean by “your dislike of female leaders is well documented and didn’t need repeating ”
