No problem.  The answer is cos that store is garbo.

And I didn’t think of it either, my first thought was getting Fb messenger to route through Pushbullet,  or an Ifttt solution of some.  And in my Googling that popped up. Dho!

My theory is were to geeky, and out first thought is always an elaborate complex unstable prymid solution. When  a search of app store is all that’s needed.

I asked an equal stupid question about a hour ago asking of there was a way to jumpto the last replied post in a thread, and of not was one coming. It turned out there is one!

If you don’t like it showing John, just hide it from with the properties menu. I think that can be done.  I wouldn’t delete it.

Or put a bit of duck tape over the position where it appears. Problem solved ?

And this is the main reason pc mags are a dieing breed.  Hard wars has been good enough since the first gen core Intel cpus.

My gaming rig has a 9 year old processor in it and it still handles all the game.  Granted it is overclocked from 2.6Ghz to 3.8Ghz. But it’s been like that since day one.

I bought it thinking I’ll get 2 to 4 years out of it,  and evey year for the last 5, I’ve planned on building a new pc.  In 2015 I though it had had it, but I decided to replace the gpu first then the cpu/mobo.  And what do you know, the cpu was still up to the task.

The issue is, as Dave mentioned, the new architecture, through is more powerful today than 9 years ago, the main aim has been on efficiency, match that with software just isn’t pushing hardware like it once did.  There was a time the pc’s was on a 6 to 12 update cycle.

Now unless your rendering video or crunching some serious numbers an almost entry level dual core 4 thread intel chip will do all you need even game.

I see you way h alot of LTT,  so assume you seen the video they made lately testing the dual core gaming.  Vs the entry quad core Intel.

Twilight pro 10p,  a great app if your phone doesn’t have night mode built in.  Somthing I’ve used for years.

I’ll look that book up,  or at least add it to list. I really like reading the view from the other side.  The problem with history is the Victor’s get to control it.  Maybe now with the Internet age that old saying is over.

Talk about unfunny jokes, for a large part of mein Kampf, he really bangs on about the Jews controlling the media,  and the propaganda they used. He actually said he learnt alot from them. He really repeated the British to, (don’t forget this was 1920s Hitler) he was very prode, and he talks alot about how had the German government was at not understanding the use of propaganda, and marveled at how Britain used to and it really did undermine the German solider, and had big effects.

He goes on to say after the war the Jews press took what the British learnt them and run with it.

The funny side is, the hollywood is very Jewish leaning,  and the biggest Jewish pusher of agenders is George sorros,  and he fund all kinds of stuff and controls the liberal media in the US and here.

George Sorros a Jewish kid,  was given to a local town mayor while his family was taken and killed,  he along with the mayor spent the war years pointing out Jewish family’s and repo’ing all the Jews belongings.

In an interview from the 90s when asked did he have regrets, he said no, It didn’t bother me, I did what I had to.

Sums the guy up. He is now funding world wide marches to undermine Trump, as he is yet to find a way to by trump.

I like history, I can’t wait to see how history views Sorros.

My old man was in 2 para, the same time his brother a marine,  he never spoke much of his time served.  I’d imagine he would of but we didn’t really speak, after I joined the marines, (not because I joined the cabbage heads as he kindly referred to them) but because he like to keep his liver in a permanent picked state.

He died at 42 when I was 22. I joined up at 16 left at 20, he had moved to Cardiff in theaters time.  Stanley he met a women and her dad was an ex brigadere that serve the majority of his career in Poole (sbs).

I’d of like to pick his brain on it, giving my love of all things military, he served in the Faulklands and NI. (And I wouldn’t of minded some stories of his new FIL) I don’t think his drinking was related to his service. He didn’t start until he was almost 30, he was a fitness freak before. The drinking come with the devorce. He never accept they wouldn’t get back together! Even the few times I spoke to him when he was with his new girl, all he did was ask about my mother.

Sad but all his own doing. To handy with his fists!

I know in the 90s bob they was still trying attack dogs, they wad like robots, a kick of the fingers and they went from cute playfully house bets, to the bringer of fear and death.

They was trained to go for throats not arms! There is probably good reasons they was outlawed. But on demos that was a terrifying sight.

The problem with making rules for war, if the opposition doesn’t recognise them, your basically fighting with one hand behind your back.

Well with the rules lol engagement, your fighting with one round in your chest, before you can legally  engage!

My be it does, I’m remembering Sky go from 4 years ago. Only viewd on smaller screens. The ipad would of been the largest, and Ironically the smallest res. But it made Go look better than the TV.

Now tv I wach mainly on the roku 3 and 1080p TV, and it looks strong. The issue I always has with sky sports on the TV was ghosting, the refresh rates just wasn’t quick enough and you would get ghoasts of players often and the ball always. Now what Hong football on Now tv you get no of that, it may be just 720p but have a really high bite. Either way I’m happy with now tv. There entertainment package is great at £7pm, and and I don’t mind forking out or thd odd game, and if that falls on an F1 weekend, and I’m more than happy.

BL was it you that gave me access to you itv Media stream from the world cup or euro cup, as the itv stream was terrible, so I watched via your over the air signal streamed to me.

Big game tonight. If we get a draw I’ll be surprised.

Bot if you haven’t you may want to read the Hitler bio written by Ian Kersaw, who it’s long but brilliant.

I’m a tall about ⅔ through Mein Kampf (by Hitler for anyone out the loop), and alot of people say it’s terribly written, and erratic. It’s slightly erratic, but I think fascinating. If you take the Jewish hate out, he actually makes alot of sense and alot of great social observations. And th parralles to the social climate today is frightening.

Ive just finished ‘Hunting Hitlers Nukes’ by Damien Lewis, all about Norway, all popular stories we all know, but faboulus hearing the true accounts. All his books are great, next in line of his is “the Nazi hunters”,

But first I’ve got ‘Girkha’ by kailash Limbu and ‘Game of spies’ by Paddy Ashdon.

I have a theme for my reading pastime if you haven’t noticed lol. Usually I’ll read 6 months around the war, then once burnt out / bored of ww2,  ill move on to Sci fi for 6 months, then return to to war.

I used to use sky Go alot,  When working away, it worked a charm aslo they could handle really slow bandwidth, and modulate it on the fly. Just as Netflix and yt do.

Also use to use it on the ipad2 in my bar, it’s A bit very old building, and the bar is tiny 12″ x 12″ so it doesn’t have a TV, the TV is in the smoking room, so I’d often take the ipad out to watch his us in Europe, (yes it wad a while ago).

I going back 5 plus years and sky had it right. Now tv must use the same backbone I bet (why would they not)   and that too is excellent.

I swear skys HD stream on both Go and Now is better than than the picture on the actual HD channel, if you have enough bandwidth.

Now they have HDultra I recon that may be a little differnt today, but still their Normal HD is stood up by their web service HD picture. It’s very good on my average 1080p TV.

If you put your roku in to dev mode, you can monitor,  on the fly,  the speed of your line, and what resolution your reciving. And maybe the bit rate too? Tho I’m not sure of that.

When trouble shooting my roku lt (1) back in the day I stumbled across that feature. I may reinstate it on the roku 3,as I’d be intrested  to see if sky is pushing out a 1080p stream or 720p, as their own tv HD is 720p or at least was when  i last had sky tv in about 2014ish.

It just occurred to me, that Dana test shows your what your ip is. Meaning not you the poster, but the current viewer of it.

E amped you could post look at my strange results, and show a Dana thing., but what I look at it I see my data not yours.

                                  Strange bit of code.

Just used Dana and it’s not very good. It did pick up the correct ip for all the countries I was pretending to be in, and differnt os and browser. On a outer of occasions it picked up the same browser I was using but that was just coincidence. I think K it was just picking up the output end of the vpn and that was running chrome.

Where Dana fell apart was when I turned  my vpn off and it got my actual ip bit failed to get my OS or browser. Stating I was on a mac using safari. I don’t think I’ve every used safari, not even on ios.

So I’m not sure what Dana is a typical doing.

Everyone that has put up a Dana test grab you may want to remove it, but as everyone you repost on the thread or load it, or it refreshed tour post and updates you ip. So you may want to remove that.

I just done two separate posts, wanting to compare, the outputs from tow browsers and the countries, and the both alway read read same outcome of that currant test.

Still waiting on a reply from Hotspot shield, but I think it’s actual quite a decent service, all be it with flaws. But I am going to be delving deeper.

That elephone looks spec for spec almost the same as the origanal phone you have up. I’d guess that is the current favourite £/ performance, set up being pumped out of China. I like both phones.

They both look like clones of each other.

The elephone design language is very Blu looking, I wonder if they are related? before the USA Blu re badging. All these chi phones seem to be related if you follow the rabbit hole deep enougt.

I have a few family members onThe the Moto E (2015) 4g. It was a bargain at £125 (when new), and then not long after they dropped the 3g version (with wasn’t good) and the 4g was £75 on Amazon for ages I get 3 at that price.

The 4.5″ size is nice. Though I’m struggling on a 5″ device at the moment. The new moto g4 is 5.5″ and feels nice in the hand.

When I was looking at the reviews of the Q box, one of the complaints that kept coming up was not being able to order your channels.

I’m not sure, but I but if you have a look on the now tv box there may be a sky go app. If so you can sign up for in to it with your sky log in and us it as a se one box. You can do this with roku.

You have to run your contact out, as you’ll pay full term whether you have it turned off or not. So you may as well keep it on.

I do think the Q interface looks very modern and “wowie”, but I can’t see it being great to use.

My in laws have just got a smart TV, the ui looks somthing like sky’s but the in-laws gave up on it and plugged their old free view box in about day 2.

They use and love the TT you view box I but in their lounge. It was a pain it isn’t wifi, so I had to buy then a small passport router, which acts as a wifi bridge to their router. That actually is a great device.
