You can’t stop paying your licence bob, they closed that loop hole in April 18. Now if you own anything that can in theory play media, you pay.

For its price, sadly, I just pay. Just a nice little stealth tax. I’d ha} illy give up the beed if the encrypted it. But I feel too many would so it ain’t gonna happen.

I think the only way to beat it is to legalise it and give it way free to registered addicts. That would stop the crime as its Steet Value would be dead, So then you wouldn’t dealers getting people hooked on the stuff. And it would clean the streets of smack, and go along way to reducing prostitution, and a fair chink of crime.

I’d have local places where they would have to go to get their ‘meds’, clean and safe etc.. Offer coinciding etc.. It would take 20 years but I would end when the last addicts die.

I seen a study once that said it wousl cost about 7k a year per addict. Seems alot but back then, each one was costing the tax payer about 15k a year anyhow.

So we could pay a diminishing 7k a year for about 20years or just carryon with the 15k.

The drawback is dealer’s would just move to anther adddictied drug to push, but I’d be just keep adding these new drugs to the ‘free’ list as they crop up.

It’s certainly a war and one that will take a generation or two to win, but it is winnable. But not by criminalisation, as you rarely catch anyone important, and some one will always fill their shoes when such big money is involved.

We need to make the product worthless to win. That’s the answer. Treat it as an economic issue rather than a social or criminal issue.

It’s just a good job bhp has gone up. Today’s average cars are now quicker than 80s ferraris. And handle much better.

We had a strabbing round the corner of the pub Monday (ish), and a last night on my way home I drive though a big fight (smack heads) all fighting with Stanley blade!

Time to drop the lot of then in a sealed buling. All with weapons and hide bags of smack around the place, dropping new ones in daily.

In about a month we’ll be down to one left. Then we blow the building. I’m abit fed up of them, have to chance then off at least twice a day, wanting to sit on my benches. I’d like a taser that’s for sure.

Got a PC coming to see me today sometime. I’m gonna pitch him my idea. They could use the old aldi that closed yesterday.

That’s a bargain. I’m still rocking that cpu and it’s perfectly fine for alot of games, never mind day to day stuff. Also have an i5 750 that is just as good.

A great pair of cpus that just keep going and going well. Both been living at 3.8Ghz for about 10 years. The i5 ran for its first few years fan less and (underclocked) as a media /TV pc. Just the cooler from a titen fenrir on it. And been happier at 3.8 since. My girl does Minecraft and roblox recording on it. Uses my origial 30gb ssd as as a scratch disk, I’m amazed that ssd is still going it gets filled and over written evey other day.

Ive not done a health check on it, but I doubt it’s in good shape, as it’s been doing this for a good 3 years.

The Yes Richard. I’ll probably get an superb estare (the red line is very nice, as is the exec) and it will be the pub buying it, well leasing it.

The superb estate, and even non Estate are huge. And the 280nhp will be enough to pull all my crap around at a fun speed.

Jcd, yep a 91 essy van, loved that. I’d take one of them now as a work van. Nothing ever broke on it. Ever. Though at 60(ish)bhp and no torque, it may not live up to my memories. Lol

Result, Im a big fan of the swift sport. I like them alot. I too could only have a fiesta St as a second car. My spine couldn’t use one full time. Plus I need a huge boot. My Leon Estate isn’t really big enough these days.

May have to by some form of faux or real 4×4 next (I feel sick).

                      Not at all.

its not a downgrade, nothing of the sorts. So to call it one is just childish. Thr product is constantly upgraded. All for a relativly cheap monthly cost. Which for many is more attainable than the old model of hundreds of pounds upfront.

To me you just sound childish. Everytime something is mentioned that you either don’t like or have no need for you resort to sill names and phrases.

Your view is sound, it’s the constant name calling that is the issue.

I had mine replaced twice under warinty of iffy batteries. The last time was because I wanted it swapped out before the 24month Warren expireed. So. For me their handling of fixing and replanting stuff was brilliant.

But I bought direct from Google play store, and contacted customer services via the pixels builtin customer service app.

They can keep my share (if any).

I dont know why you keep calling it a downgrade Richard? Just cos you don’t need the newer features, doesn’t mean it’s a down grade. It’s defo an upgrwde, and in many cases it makes a cheaper entry point for those that couldn’t justify 100s of pounds upfront. Plus it gives the compang a relativly steady income stream, that can be all but garat3ed each month. So its win win.

Office doesn’t even make you migrate form your old licence. And Adobe deal is actually very good. Not that I personally need it, as I don’t get the time to make the most of the powerful software.

If you don’t need it, don’t subscribe, then you have no reason to moan about something you dont need/use. If you do need it, you you’ll be happy to pay, so again no reason to moan. Its win win.

I don’t think it thst scary. Also I’d not want any notice of its arrival, even the 26 hour notice is too long.

One of the best ways to go, everyone at the same time. No worrying before it and no mourning after it.

Totally with you on the dated interior, the new one is still a mile behind tbh. I’d have one as my second car, for nipping back and too to work. It’s only 7 mins drive down the lanes. But I like android auto to much for longer drives.

Both the fords and Vx are behind the rest when it comes to interiors. Lazy as the focus, fiesta, astra and corsa top the bills almost evey month. So they have little reason to chuck real money at them. That is untill the Korean sales overtake them and leave them behind.

Have a look at the i30n that’s a little cracker. Not sure about android auto tho. Or the veloster n. Two nice motors.

The outgoing fiesta st200 (st3) all day if you want a hot hatch. The st150 is a cracker also.

Im still not sure on the new 3cly one, it is quicker and meant to be just as fun, but I very much doubt it will be as capable as the outgoing 4cly. They can squeeze alot of hp out of them. Or on the flip side, as stock 200bhp they should be solid for years.

I’d like an st200, but if anything I need something larger than my current leon ST 200 estate. May go for the skoda superb redline estate next. The 280bhp sould even out the extra wieght, also its awd so sould shift down my lanes.
