Maybe that big bomb the US dropped in Afghan was actually a bit of “housekeeping”, clearing up any evidence of a US link.

      Just a thought.

Wont the ransomware just re encrypt your encryption? Surly.

Just keep the stuff you want safe “air gapped” I like to keep my os is a state  which if it gets compromised a quick reinstall fixes all.

Ive done this for years, as an install of an early clone, is far quicker than hinting down some random issue. As I’ve found even fixing issues, leaves beind some cruft.

I just go nuclear at first sign of any issue. Not the most sophisticated approach, sledgehammer to crack a nut, but always the quickest option. But only if you keep your data seperate   to the os.

The ram may be worth a bit, not much though.

I’d Keep the gpu, always good to have a spare or two for quick testing  Won’t be worth much.

Your best place would be to look at the prices on ebay and list them there,  It won’t be much in total, so then you have to factor in is it worth your time to package them and take them the post-office.

I don’t think USA dropped gas on the Syrians It wouldn’t surprise me is there was no gas dropped at all, and the videos was fabrication.

Some of videos on the news showed the responders hanlding the dead and dying with no gloves, or masks.

It looks as suspecte as them is is videos where all the solders taking part have bag fresh brand new combats and brand new boots. But the biggest give away is always the beret. Any ex solder knows the shape of your beret is of the highest order. Somthing Hollywood is yet to grasp. Any soldier on any film wheres there beret like a day one noob.

Alot of the isis videos suffer form alot of these nuances, a solder can see a mile away, I’d expect, and seen medical responders flag up, about the medical responders on the gas videos.

Make more sense, the attack was staged, as assad was about to crush the US rebellion (cough isis), and end the war, meaning no Saudi pipelines into Turkey and onto EU.

After all in 2011/12 I think chainey (can’t remember off top of head) in an official meeting brought up that the Saudis would cover the costs of an Syrian invasion, (its on record), so within 6 months, the Assads went from Hollywood Couple, being guests of all the rich, famous and powerful, being praised for there secular state, with free education and 5 star health care, to The devil incarnate.

The drm option is for the likes of broadcasters to use. The drm won’t effect the 3rd party “black” add ons.

So if you use kodi and the addons, there is little to worry about. Kodi realised a statement saying ad much about 12h after the drm new come about. About 3 or 4 days ago.

Though I think all the dodgy addons are not very good anyhow, either poor quality or they constantly drop. There is much better places to watch live streams. Or just pay for the live stuff, and get full HD with out drops and rubber banding, the issue is sometimes you can’t find a way to pay.

If your after “black” films or shows etc, again, there is better places than the kodi adds.

I bet kodi is loving all this bad press, I bet their downloads have never been so high.

To be able to have more than 6 pints and not get a hangover from hell would be a good start.

Apart form that I don’t really have a bucket list of sorts.

I’d like a decent Camper van I suppose, but not untill the last child grows up.

Sound like you need a new head unit, as AUX ports are passive, so your sounds broken.

I don’t fancy living forever. If I could get a new back I may reconsider.

But you’d really need to be born once its been all figured,  out so you’d reach peak condition and stay there. I really don’t fancy being kept in a 80 year olds body for the rest of eternity. My 40 year old one is already goosed, I don’t my 80 year old one.

I wached that last night and he cheated, buying the board whole. Loads of people have been doing this to for years. My first old iPhone 5, had about 6 screens and 2 replacment batteries. And a new back.

The only part of the phone that was original was the logic board. IPhone are the easiest phones to tear down and reassemble.

Now if he was to build the logo and board and install the OS, even just install an OS on a blank logic board, then I’d of been impressed.

A phone is actually way simpler than building a pc. The logic board is the pc, all he done was the equivalent of plugging a monitor in and blogging it into the wall (battery).

The film was shot well I’ll give home points for that. Also the location looked so good, a geeks dream shopping trip.

Wow I reckon I may try and sue them, everyone seems to get a £1b payout.

Looks like they have been upto no good for a long while. First time this has come to my attention.

Live by the sword and all that. Should of got bill gates in, show them how to crush and bully your way to the top cartel style.

Most BT inputs take the volume off the phone as the primary, then your volume nob will be secondary.

So I turn my phone to full 100% then you the cars valour knob to alter the volume.

With any aux input, you will see volume drop off, some phones it can be as much as 50%, but mostly a 20-30% hit.

This has never bothered me, as I listen to books and don’t need my sound to be very loud.

A the anker device John is just a dumb through. Set your input device to full and your radio volume knob/button will control your car speakers.

Oh the tick on that would mentally destroy me. Not that I don’t think it very cool, but I have to put my wrist watch on the other side of my bedroom as I just can’t stand ticking.

We don’t own a single clock in our house. Watches, phones and computers do it.

My Fil hates that we don’t have clocks, he gets visibly angry lol.

But I hate the tick, and LED anything in my book can go to hell. Oh the humble LED, you cost me so much in good quality black duck tape.

                            Yes I’m weird.

Always felt sorry for vista. It was a pig out of the box, mainly cos pc specs lied about its power, but after a year or so, it was just as quick as 7 was when it launched.

Will always remember as a pile. But we know once it matures its was fine.

                              Unlike 8.

As they don’t seem to be uber pc savvy, (still using vista) I’d say KISS approach is needed.

You set them up somthing that is simple for you to trouble shoot, and somthing that they don’t have to mess with. Ie just works with their usual work flow.

I use some simple cloud shares, and usb drive stick that lives mostly disconnected.

There are much better solutions, but non more simple. I’ve not got Dave network guru, and I don’t like messing with Windows, I like to be on and off it, I find the more complex a solution (to anything)  I attempt on windows, the more time I spend fixing windows than doing work .

So simple is fine by me.

I may set up an amazon cloud account. As a dump for photos, a type of last resort vault.

I’m forever hitting the ‘choose file’ file button by mistake. I can like with it though, even if you made the submit one bigger id still do it, as on the mobile view, submit button is alway just off screen.

I doubt you could fix that easily, without making some big changes. And tbh it doesn’t bother me that much.

I rarely use the desktop view, so haven’t noticed any irritants.
