Being a negative nelly isn’t going to help Jason. ?

I wouldn’t mind a gaming group of some sort being set up. Maybe one night mid week or something.

You could award the most strange quote of the week. Pick the silliest, weirdest, funniest, most stupid, nice or random comment/reply/question of the week/month. Basically something that made you go WFT?

Other than the that I’m blank.

I’d say best typo, but I’d win every  week.

Wife had C-dif, twice (or once recurring last year) spending  about 9 weeks between the two spells in hospital through autumn.  I teased her the whole time that I’d happily donate some healthy stuff if the medicine didn’t work.

She was adamant  their was no way she was having a poo transplant. However the doctors did mention that  it was a possibility. Not mine of course. But I did wonder where they get healthy human manure from.

In regards to diet, we found out years ago, that cooking food from scratch, that there is was a noticed improvement in the children’s behaviour. It was in out skint days, when the only options was cheap cuts of meat, and bags of miss shaped vegetables, so we didn’t do this as so kind of experiment more out of necessity when I went back to school.

But the diffence is amazing cutting additives out of a kids diet.

Thank  you bob, as I reading about your GS above, a story come to me I seen last month. I think it’s the Israel army are re rusty large numbers of Aspergers suffers, some quite bad, as they are great at pc data stuff, and spotting stuff on maps etc.

There was many in the video that was Sgt rank, I’d imaging is a field type tank, one suited to the position, rather than an active Sgt, as I can’t see that working.

But non the less a good story I thought. No matter your view on their politics. After all ours are also shit.

Lee it looks fine, like I said weeks ago, it looks good enough, if it ain’t broke….

Take a break for a few weeks, or you’ll end up getting burnt out and hateing  the place. On a few weeks just tinker with the features you think it needs.

Some said in the last week or so, it surpassed mm months ago. And we all put up with that, (with minimal moaning).

You know you have it right, when out major discussion is what colour links sound be.

                  You have done well.

The tories did want more deregulation, bit labour secured it. And never paid enough money to recruit people with enough nous to police it.

The FAA had no idea what the banks was upto, as it was to complex, all the people that understood what was going on and how it worked was being paid mega bucks, the ‘police’ peanuts. So they just took the word of the banks all was good.

Probably some back handers in their too no doubt

Anyhow, this is totally off topic and is a rabbit hole of of its own.

I just don’t like the old “new labour”, nothing socialist about it, and as far as I could see, they dint really help the workers out either. Agencies and zero hour contracts to. Another rabbit hole lol.

As much as ive hated on labour and LD, I won’t be working Tory. I see one of May’s PR heads has left today. You know it’s bad when the spindoctors cant even make for lies look good.

I’m not a big tory fan, but I respect they don’t try to be something they are not, also i personally cut them some slack cos of the state labour left the finances.

Yes, it’s not labours fault, it could be argues they was a contributer, to the western world economy crash. but they didn’t put themselves in a great place buy spending way beyond their means when we was in a good position with the war debt finally being paid up, and being in the middle, no start  of a  boom, and riding it for 10 years.

If you paying out more and more, selling off hospitals, (in indirect ways), selling off the gold at the best possible time (not) , loosening regulation on finance plus more I can’t remember now, it’s all got to be accounted for eventually. Everything always does.

Also the mess with the war ships, Chinock software, jet orders, and not to mention at least one illegal war!

As to the lib dems, they did screw the students,  they promised cheaper or free (can’t recall now) higher ed, they basically ran their campaign aimed at the kids. Iirc that year was one of the biggest young adult turnouts to date, or for a long time. LD was promising crap as they didn’t think they had a hope in hell. [Very much like the bexitiers, thst had no power on future policy making, but kept promising and strung absolute BS, then disappeared once it was over]

They didn’t have to go in a tory Co lab, they could of said, “our principals don’t align, we just can do it”,they would of been respect ted, and be twice the party today, if not more, they could be no2, but no they seen power, at least a sniff of it, and couldn’t resist.

As they say power corrupts all, and that is exactly what happened. screw the kids that actually got me in this position, I’ll take the power, they must of thought.

As you say it was 7 years ago, but they ran on an almost single issue, and burnt them that came out in support.

But sadly as you say, they all do it, no one can actually be trusted. Everyone of them turn into a wheasle eventually.   that to me says the job is actually a lot harder than we give them credit for. It’s all about compromising, and trying to please the majority. Meaning, your going to annoy some of the people all of the time. At some point or another your going to pee off evey single personin the land.  You just have to hope you have enough brownie points built up in advance.

I just have issue with how fast Clegg and his friend  turned at the first sniff of (faux) power. They didn’t have brownie points in the bank, as they had never been in a position to build them. They swang and missed on day one.

I don’t thinks intolerance Richard, if your living with something 24/7, it just becomes the norm, you end up batching and joking about stuff, others would find strange.

We got some ok news yesterday regarding the wife, and it’s come to the point in thd cancer journey, that we have be come very ‘blasé’ (if that’s how it’s spelt) about it, we was basically laughing and mocking it on out way home.

Sometime I’ll get pissed off, with the wife, as some  days ill accuse her of hiding hiding behind the illness, letting it beat her so to speak. Sorry of a touch love routine, other days we’ll joke about it.

The days for feeling sorry for yourself, can only last so long,  the abnormalities of Illness one day you realise is just the realities of your life. You have two choices, let it beat you or you can tell it to “fuck right off” and get on with your life, untill you (or my wife in our case) drops of the perch.

It is what it is, what will happen will happen. Some people let it kill them the day of the diagnosis.

I like the dark grey colour, maybe set the grey (maybe a shade or two  lighter) to be the “used” link colour, and usual blue for unused links.

My dyslexic son, 15 just doing his maths GCSE a year early, and going collage to do a level maths and jobbing off most of other a levels, except science and English (lol English), but at least he no longer has to do French and Welsh!

However the relevance, after 10 years, give or take, the hospital has finally put him on the spectrum! It’s been obvious to all who know him, he can’t hold his tongue, and every word is very lateral!

His grandad is a has worked part time for 20 years with kids with high disabilities, downs and autism mainly at a local live in collage, since my lad was 5 or 6 ,he spotted it.

But my lad had a knack of turning into the best behaved and silent kid ever at any appointments! Over the last 2 years, he seems to be worse, or rather more obvious.

We never wanted a diagnosis to drug him, more for him to get any extra help I’m school etc, it’s now come too late for him if honest.

However we recon our 8 year old girl (tomorrow) is also on the spectrum, we’re not sure if she is worse than what to boy was at her age, or we know what to look for, or our maybe patience is thinner. The last one is doubtful, given I know my patience as grown with age.

We have an appointment with a specialist next moth for the boy. So we’ll see what happens.

The one thing he doest suffer with is the social side of things, every one knows him, I can’t go anywhere. Alot of thst is having brothers much older, (oldest now 22/3) so bow even in the pubs young guys ask me about my young lad.

I think Ed means, after you have activated the link, the link then turns to the text colour and blends in to the main body of text.

Maybe set the used link colour to grey or something.

Though I have just noticed the forum page text colour is now black. I like it. Was it blue? I can’t remember lol.
