Nottingham is one of the roughest cities other UK Lee. Never been myself, but the papers told me one. Lol.
Bit really it is ment to be rough, I think it has the highest knife (or violent) crime outside of London. It holds some sort of title like that or did ten years ago
It may of been gang violence.
Try this. Copied from a Google search. Below.
Here are the steps to clear your Bluetooth cache:
1Go to Settings
2Select “Application Manager”
3Display system apps (you may need to either swipe left/right or choose from the menu in the top right corner)
4Select Bluetooth from the now larger list of 5Applications
6Select Storage
7Tap Clear Cache
8Go back
9Finally restart the phoneI just missed the step out on my original post it seems. I’ve highlighted the part that should show you the system files. Think of it like ticking “show all files” in Windows.
Seems like a ram issue/caxhe, as if the phone can’t send the song quick enough.
Try clearing the cache of the BT app. I have no idea what it will be called, scroll trough your apps, via the android /settings /apps menu, it will be there somewhere. Then disable, un-install any updates, then re anable.
Another great feature of Google photos is, in its setting there is a ‘free up space’ button. It delete only the pictures it backed up. It very handy for smaller devices.
All them pics that you see on your phone, from within Google photos, mostly, arnt even on the phone. It just works that fast (in 3g areas) that you would think the pic is stored locally.
You can tell what pics are not on the phone, by scrolling really quickly through the photos. They will start to take a second to appear. This isn’t the phone lagging, but the app franticly grabbing icons of all your pics.
Facebook I find is a place of perpetual depression.
People only show the good bits of their life, so others get a bit jealous, and then show their “perfect” life back. So the first is a bit jealous of the second, and the second jealousy of the first. And so the cycle goes, for literally billions of people.
Basically everyone is looking at the “greener field”, that doesn’t exist.
What’s your issue bob? Do you use the offical Google photos app, it looks like a flower on a white background? If not start. As that will sync your photos on real time over 3g/4g/wifi. I have mine set to wifi only.
I can take a picture on my phone and on under 5s it will show up on my pc, at photos.google.com or Google.com/photos it will be one of them two. =
(just google, Google photos).
From there you can download an individual picture, or album, or a mixture. If you download more than one photo, they arrive in a zip file. It’s a slick set up.
It’s been along time I’ve manually tried to get a picture off my phone and on to my pc. I just let it sync.
The wife’s Sony camera has Nfc WiFi, and it’s quicker to tap the phone on the camera, the phone sucks the photos off the camera video wifi direct (or whatever that’s called), then the phone syncs then to the cloud, and they appear on the pc.
It’s a quicker process than taking the sd card out the camera and putting it in the pc.
As your pictures are under 16mp, they don’t count towards your Google data quota, so you basically have unlimited space.
As for sharing photos, on your Google photo albums, in the album menu hit share and grant your wife (or whomever) access so the can view/add/edit. If you both have a Google account, the pics will just arrive in the recipients google pic library.
So if your pics would automatically turn up in your wife’s phone, and vice versa if you wished.
Now after all that, how are you currently doing it?
I’m not sure tbh, he wasn’t in long, then spent most of his life down the pit. Don’t well out of it. I actually do where I do cos after the strike he moved to the local pit, bringing my wife to be with him. He did then do ta for about ten years too. Basically for the free holiday to Europe every summer without the kids. Which then paid for his actually holiday to Europe with the kids.
He retired quite early from the pit due to an accident, with a nice pay out. he held a decent role. They let him blow stuff up, which is always fun. Eventually he was some type of “safety manager” the start of health and safety pribaly, he only went for that as the pay bump was very nice and it got you off the coal face.
It works on my Nexus 6 and pixel. But i guess if it didn’t work on them they would never work.
Also the auto sign in to certain apps that have incorporated the api works too. Every time it happens it catchers me off guard.
For the life of me i can only recall Netflix that does it. But there are many more.
Edit Real racing 3 does it to. Installed that yesterday, auto signed in on launch and my progress all returned. You use to have to launch the game, do the tutorial, then go the menu and sign in.
I’ll ask when I see him next. He is a a bit younger.
Yes, that is one area where you want to do a but of homework first. A quick gooey of the ssd model number would flag up these issues. Then I’d move on to the next cheapest in the line, and so on.
I always get ladies sending me rude picture on Skype, and hangout (hangout is worse) Trying to get a video chat going. I recon they record you then try to back mail you.
when bored I’ll egg them on for 10 mins or so, they get quite forceful then a grey, by 15mins if your not on the hook.
The backing up of app data can be done by Google, but the app needs to link to your Google account. Devs are moving that way, but it’s still a trickle atm. Also you need to opt in on an apl by app basis.
I suppose Google wouldn’t get away with only offering their own storage option. Most have fb, Dropbox etc. I choose Google by default. As when you have authenticated with Google, it’s rare you have to re log into the apps.
For Google downloading your apps, I always have that back up turned off, as I end up with 100s of apps over time. (18gb worth on this phone). I always like to start a fresh on a new install. Apps take 10 seconds to install when you need them. Or you can wait 20 mins at the start, which is annoying as the app you’ll be in a rush to use, will always bee no#128/147 to down load. There is no easy way to bump that app to the top, without canceling all apps the downloading the one you want. With makes the auto download pointless.
So I’ll back app data up to Google, where possible, but not the app itself.
Perhaps the real question is, Why bother? Why not just use Gmail and be done with it?
Only reason I do is for email backup. Came in handy yesterday where I had to dig up an email to send to the letting agent to prove we’d reported a problem that they hadn’t fixed.
But would it not of been easier, to find the email via the built in search bar. It is almost impossible to lose an email. I havent deleted an email for years. Always find what I need.
I suppose if you have multiple email suppliers, a desktop client may be nice. As I use the Google mail app, to receive Hotmail etc. So I suppose that is the same a using TB /Outlook on a pc.
The majority of his issues is with sound. They rather don’t ring loud enough, he currently has a Motorola razor (remember them), no idea where it came from, but has big buttons, and a decent screen. However this you can’t turn off t-9 predict, so he can’t use it, and the ringer is to low. He misses all calls and texts. Also as far as I can figure you can’t change the ringer to something obnoxious.
He has been in this hunt ever since my old Nokia N95 died about two years ago. He got that what I got the origanal G1 so 2008.
That is the log in for the new Google authentication page
If you want to give an 3rd app access to your computer own data, you go in here and ok ‘TB’ in this case.
He probably hit the join Google account but on TB and it bushed home to here to white list TB so its trusted.
It’s relativly new.
But if you go to the link below (and sign if if your not and you can see all the apps, services and sites that you allowed Google to sure your data with.
I recall Wembley in the early and mid 90 (Liverpool and Widnes), and even then there seemed few white faces around. Then in the early 2000s I briefly worked for a company that fitted out shops and bars (all the wagging with farther paid off), what was around greater London, inside the north and south curricular, and some regions there was no white faces.
We never had a bad experiance, except when the company managed to squeeze us in a local “hotel” for our bidgut (think train spotting). We stayed one night, and told them we was fine with the extra driving from brand hatch hotel each day.
So we could have BH with track passes, double room to yourself, TV, sky, gym (whatever they are) and pool and spar.
One night the endlands women team turned up, with some old Liverpool legend as second coach, I was sat in the Jacuzzi and half the team got in. All around 18-15 and spent the next 20 mins flirting with me, and trying to get me to “stand up”. Well I couldn’t stand up at at around 22/3 one has little control of what goes on don there.
I wad saved by the coach, the dark skinned and dark curly haired ladies of about 40( at the time) . She know exactly what they was up to and shouted the to leave me alone.
So you have in Kent. And for the same money £240 per day for bed and board in London you got scabby rooms, fit for bed sits. And you’d have to share a room, which isn’t world ending, what was though is the lacof the toilet door the was situated at the foot of both single beds. With a brocken door.
So you was just stuck to look in to the eyes of the guy (or gal, no gals) and he evacuates himself then stinks the whole room out, because of the lack of one.
He has had that one. Or one like it The £10 tesco nokia. He has old eyes, old ears, and a touch of white finger from his days in the pit. What he does need is that oap centric phone that has huge buttons and does phone and text, but he would be highly insulted if I handed him that. He is a keen MMA and boxing enthusiast, so I can’t insult him to much.
He may be old, but still fit, ran marathons for year, and an ex Reme, the tho old guy has still has a bit about him. He is also one of the few people with wider shoulders than me. Like me he is almost as wide as tall.
I hear the 3310 is just one of the cheap Nokias in a new frock. So I may be wasting my money on that too.
Perhaps the real question is, Why bother? Why not just use Gmail and be done with it?
I agree, but some like to have a desktop app. But I can’t compare Gmail interface to thunderbird as I’ve not used the latter for a decade. I actually thought mozzila stopped supporting it about 4 years ago.
Gmail search is just the best.
Wife loves her fire tv (gen 1). She uses her phone to control it, over the remote. I think it’d lost tbh, as everyone uses their phones for it.
I refuse to use it, I just never took to it. But everything now does seem to work well now. I found it cumbersome coming from years using the rokus
I prefer the roku, (still have the 3 in the bedroom and 2 in the office) but accept that the roku is a bit more limiting compared to the fire tv. I also use the roku via my phone, as the batteries ran out on it about 18 months ago.
Still not tried Xbmc on the fire, I should as we all use Xbmc to access the movies I have plugged into our router. Though as s don’t ever go in the lounge, I’ll never be bothered to do it.
Only allowed on there when we have guests.
Your place sounds a lot like North Wales. We all know you can’t drive into north Wales after 4pm on a Friday, untill about 9pm, the single carriageway is just at a standstill, and the same in reverse on a Sunday from about 4pm onwards.
Luckily living here, for our weekends away, we are leaving on a Friday and retuning on a Sunday, doing the oppersite to all the tourists.
For a short time I lived in a place called Kinmel Bay, if anyone ever visited Rhyl, it’s the small estates after the blue bridge in Rhyl on the road to the Asda.
I worked away then wand did 1000s of miles a week. Then last thing was getting back to Wales on a Friday (see above) and leaving again on Sunday (again, see above) but the worst part was, you literally can’t leave the estate with out getting in tourist traffic, from 10am – 7pm right through the summer. So we just didn’t go out at weekends,as dad was sick of driving, and couldn’t do with the tourists.
So we left there to a less imprisoned place down the coast. Then about 4 years later they open a frigging shopping estate down the road from me! So now it quite busy all year round, then very busy ones the sun arrives.
