Hitler and that time in Germany (and the world) is a fascinating time, and there is alot of similarities today.

Putting the “bad” stuff to one side, the economic recovery of Germany always fascinated me. In such a short time, to go from nothing, to one on the best places, free of debt, strong economy, no army, to well.., strong education, the top In sciences.

When you here the muttering of the West/banks started the war to undermined what Hitler had implemented, sometime you have to think there could be something in it. Especially looking at the world today, and the constant fight of the oil/gas, gold/petro dollar.

He did have quite a bit of free labour, so that is always nice on the budget, but putting that aside, it is a minor miracle way happened from 33-8.

Also the whole poland thing isn’t as straight cut as the history books make out, (Victors get to write it etc). The Polish was persecuting and killing alot of Germans on the run up to their invasion. So I think alot of what later went on, was just sadistic revenge.

When people ask the question, what two people would you like to have to dinner. Churchill and Hitler, for me all day long. I’d love to here the first hand accounts, of what actually went on.

Also I’d like to add jesus to that list, just to see if he turned up! If he did I’d have a lot to think about.  also he would make a good referee between the other two.

There was a camp where i grew up. What amazed me that these “travellers” was 2nd and 3rd generation living in that camp ground, with £100k vans and 28/32″ tvs (that was big and hugely expensive then) and more mod cons than any place I’d seen at the time.

Lived there longer than most non travellers live in the same house/street.

Sms or im messages?

If you have a smartphone aswell as the tablet Push bullet may work. I use pushbullet, to sms from my windows pc. Have pb on both phone and tablet, it may let send sms from the tablet, if your phone has a sim.

There are a few apps that do this. But can’t recall any others off the top of my head. I use to use a dedicated app too for this!

For Im messages any of the big names do this. But doubt your asking of Im.

Trumps speach today in poland seems to be taken place right from the Hitler play book of points to hit in a nationalist speach.

I was reading Mein Kampf while the US election was on. And the similarities with the atmosphere with the American Right public, and what Trump was “playing to” , to Hitlers world views in the book, I found quite stark.

Especially as he was the better choice. Or rather the more sane and less corrupt of the two on offer last year.

I love this feature. Especially when paired with photos.

It dates back longer than 3 years Dave. Google have been tracking me singe the g1.

My eldest  lad now 23, when in the 4th year of high school, went through The stage of wagging it.  in return of keeping his phone, the htc hero (the htc desire hd) he had to share in real time his location with us.

I only checked on it every few months, but he never knew that. He got his phone, and we got him back in school.

He has just finished  uni. So win win.

 

Another bit of “creepy” info that is of no real use to us as an individual , but useful to google, and us as a whole, evey tone you speak to your phone, it’s recorded and kept. You can find your voice snipits, somewhere in your Google account. You can delete them if you wish. Bit the more bits of voice data they have, the more the AI learns. So creepy, but worth it.

Get_iplayer is the way to go, on your lap top. It’s a simple one step process that spits out an mp4 iirc.

That way you can share it about to all that want it. Easiest way would be upload to a cloud account, Google,  ms, Dropbox etc. But given the content will be copyright, I’d store a copy in my usual cloud of choice. But ad also use Mega to actually share it.

The recipients don’t need mega, but upload it there, then generate a url, and text /email / im,  the url link to the recipients.

Mega has a free 50gb upload limit. So you’ll be more than cope.

Don’t try the hard, long winded way of getting of a sky box. It will mean trying to tap I’m to the box, usually means low definition, then you’ll need to record it in real time (or at least shifted time) . Think of the old recording of a music tape method.

I copied 100s of kids films of sky in the early to mid 2000, in that manner. Dvd recorder attached to the start out of the sky box. Each night I’d have to hit play on the sky box the record on the dvd recorder.

2 weeks ago I binned the dvds, about 5 or 6 large spindles, and probably months of work. I had then on a couple of hdds back in the day too, (ad that was why u was recording them off the sky box, to put on the pc) bit I know I’ve reformatted Atleast one of the hdds. Not sure where the others are now.

Long story short. Get_iplayer. Only used it about 3 times. But it’s the way to go.

Air freshener are big no no in my house. Deodorants, and most types of artificial smells that come in tins. Or even the plug in type. They just attack my nose, then my head. My mum suffers the same too.

My house smells of detol, (or dog), depending on the day.

I was out at the weekend, at a stag do, and my noise is still suffering from all the “smellies” everyone was wearing. My left nostril is all spit on the inside. In a ‘chapped’ type of way.

A real pita or rather pitn.

As to food ingredients, we figured out long ago the diffence in behaviour shit food has on young kids. It was mainly due to lack of cash 15 years ago (or so) , that we had to revert to eating, cheap cuts of meat and cheap miss shaped vegetables from the grosses. Even when you we got more flush, we still kept with the cheaper cuts and funny vegetables. As chicken air planes, or microwave x or y, doesn’t half have bad effects of children’s behaviour.

Also the women on the news that say they can’t afford to eat healthy, is code for I cba to spend an hour cooking. Noting easier than a “surprise stew. Chuck it in the slow cooker at 8am, eat with bread at 6pm. It rarely tastes bad, whatever you chuck in.

You may also be interested in a TDS (total dissolve solids) meter, they are cheap and tell you have much totally crap is in each. The TDS meter doesn’t tell you what’s in it, just how much of something is in it. Thet are cheap under a £10.

You have ‘Apps’ listed above in that main Menu picture you posted. Hit that.

You won’t see the Bluetooth app

The press the menu button, bottom left (three horizontal lines). You get two options, choose the top one “system processes” or similar.

Then the Bluetooth app will then  be visible

Press the Bluetooth  app, and you will get this

Press force stop, then press storage, and you’ll get this

clear data, then clear cache, then restart your phone.

On restart,  come back to this same menu, and you may need to restart the app, as you ‘disable it’ via force stop’ in its place it may still say force stop, or I can may say ‘enable’ (or solar).

If you have to re enable it, do another re start, (it won’t hurt.)

On the restart, your good to go and re pair to your car.

Before you repair, tell your car stereo to forget the phone. So that you are starting a compleat fresh.

For your car to forget your phone it will be under settings, Bluetooth, devices, manage devices etc..

Eventually you’ll come across a list of devices (or may be just yours if your the first), there is likely to be an option to ‘delete’ ‘forget device’ or something along them lines. Do that.

Sorry if this is a bit all over the place, long day and a few refreshments. Also i had to photograph the steps, then screen shot the photos. So they look bad. Bit should surface.

If this don’t work. Your likely out of luck. Well I’m out of ideas.

Not its not. It’s not in storage, if you hit the main settings button (either the cog at the top, or the settings app in our app draw)

You will be shown a list of other options. The storage one is usually further down to the app manager section. It’s not always called app manager, mine is called apps and notifications.

Ive also just realised you have a huawei device. There menu system deviates from most other android implantations. The wife has the P9, so if you haven’t sorted it by the time I’m home, I’ll take a look at her phone, and document the steps.

Personally I dont like 8, but do think if that is the way they (ms) wanted to go, they should of done it gradually. And forked it, a pro version, and a free home metro version.

It’s so hard to activate not, cos they (ms) don’t want you on it. The code that fixed all sounds very “warn”. Though it will likely work forever probably.

Is ms still kindly reminding people to move to 10,as that may get annoying.

I think your the first person I’ve heard of that actually prefers 8 to 10. 10 I find had the good bits of 10 with the bits of 7 back I know.

They problem should of gone, 7, 10, 10s then 8 home (s) . A more gradual evolution. In stead of going all out revolution.
