Bob that link says you should replace you SP every 2-3 years, as they stop giving the protection. A quote, “just because the pass electricity, doesn’t meant they are still offering protection”.

I’m still holding out hope for small reactors, so we never have to charge. It may seem silly, but I sure don’t want a wind powered one ?

40mins is a lot, i have a 3amp socket in the car that does a good impression of quick charging. And hour will almost fill the phones 80 quick charge limit. I just plug may phone in for 10 or 20 mins if the day has been long.

My last two phone, have been very good on the battery front. And gets better with every tweet Google does with Doze. Android is finally caught up to Apple in the standby dept. My Pixel doesn’t lose anything overnight, 2 years ago, android would lose 20% over 8 hours of inactivity.

Doze is ment to kick in when you are in a pocket too, but I’ve not seen it happen. Bit if you place the phone on a desk, it works much better.

              Hanged, always raises an eyebrow.

Did you see at the weekend the guy that was going to testify against the Clinton foundations misadventure in hati, this week, decided it wad a good idea to shoot himself in the head.

              It’s just so blatant now.

That sucks. We had a ton I’ve rain yesterday in a 20min period. Flood the whole of the town center, crossing the lot Inc my dentist which I attended to be turned away. In parts the water was knee high.

The neighbours that live 20 meters away get flooded evey time we get a “flash flood” we are lucky as the water is funneled around our house, but it passes at some speed and dept.

Today all is back to normal, leaving behind alot of debrie (??), from the mountain.

Touch wood, I’ve never had a lighting issue at my place. I can only imagine it sucks.

I don’t know the state of Scottish ladies football, but England are starting g to see the merits of having a professional women’s league. Iirc it’s only been about 3 years since the women’s game has gone pro in England.

Before this hardly any women got paid, even at big Premier league clubs it was an a mature affair. Where only de entries players would play, and the real cream had to go abroad.

Having a pro set up, where all they have to do is concentrate on football and train daily, is paying off nationally now. We done well in the last world cup.

I’m not a big England fan, the games are a nuisance that get in the way of real football, I’d love the women to win a big Compition just to rub the men’s nose in it. Lol

Amazon US are selling an add supported moto G4 for $120. Now that is a steal. I’m imagining the adds will be akin to how they work on a kindle e reader and fire. Ie the unlock screen. Which for me is totally fine, they don’t get in the way at all.

My work pc has had the power and reset wired the wrong way for the best part of 5 years. I must of been tired when I built it, and just cba to swap it around. Even for my eyes, then tiny connectors and writing is a chore when the mobo and gpu are  plumbed in.

I’d actually forgot I’m that use to it. Tbh it’s probably been a year since I’ve turned it off. Maybe longer! Probably when I moved from 7 to 10, so it could be two years. You don’t notice how solid 10 is untill you think about it. Unlike all windows before it (never used 8) it just works.

Don’t worry about it bob, it’s just part of life. The wife hates how people will do anything to avoid the ‘C’ word around her, thinking it will offend her in some way. Some people actively avoid her because they don’t know what to say. Then ask me how she is, and tell me they stay clear as they are lost for words.

It’s the Britishness in people, and generations of suppressing our emotions that make us like this (stiff upper lip…) . I’m probably the worst for that lol, I’m a master of suppression, or not caring as the wife puts it!

Well this is a heart warming thread. To add add more misery on this dark thread on Monday we was at my favourite hospital (Wrexham) [not] , while the wife had some more biopsies.

Oh the joys. Just shows the Big C can hit any one, any age, and can be be short or long. I’m not sure which one is better tbh! My ant went from full half to dead in under 3 months, my nan 18 months from lung diagnisis, (after kidney removal 5 years earlier). And the wife has been ill for a long time, her first hair loss, was 3 years ago. She shaved it off so its marked in the diary. But 2 18 months prior to that, she also had a kidney out.

                              Happy days hey!

Untill my nan got her first diagnosis in about 2008/9 I never encountered Cancer in my life. The last decade has made up for it.

To top the news of the day off, Im of the docs with my 9yo this morning. Just what I need, added medical  appointments to my week. Nothing serious though.

Nice, the footy season is almost here, and the f1 season is finally getting good. Been a dire season the majority so far.

Anyone having issues with Now TV? I can’t log in, just change my PW and still it won’t recognise  me.

Went to there site, and it will let me log in (Google smart lock does it), but when I select my account details it fails.

Now that I’ve just changed the PW I’m going to get grief tomorrow when some one tries to watch h something and all the devices are locked out

Update-embeded a fool. My issues was because I had my vpn running. House is gonna love me tomorrow.

Not watched it yet. Thought it aired tonight tbh. I’ll be watching soon though. It’s probably the only programme I don’t wait until the season finished to watch it.

I wanted to watch all the previous Eps with the wife, but she is probably the only person on earth that has zero intrest in it. I’d of enjoyed a marathon month of catch up. There are so many story lines there is a lot to forget. Especially for someone that struggles to recall names.

                                    But it never materialised.

I have 2 on the back of BL advice, and they are great. Think I paid £24 for mine. Could do with a couple more, but got an expensive month ahead!

Not that the last month was exactly cheap!!

We had a great aerial fitter in the village. He was an alcoholic, all ways hammered, I mean smashed. The more drunk he became the thicker his N.Irish accent became. He had been in the village for over 50 years.

some how he would be up and at your house at 8am on the dot, and running over the roof. His work was good fast and cheap.

Sadly his lifestyle caught up with him about two years ago and he had a major Stoke, his wife now takes him the pub for one drink each afternoon.

God only knows how she put up with him.
