That’s a shame, for me it was the perfect style of controller for mobile games game boy and nes roms.
Though tbh, the gb emulators/games work well without a pad. They are the games I waste my time on when I bored.
Good only knows why Nintendo haven’t released an official emulator (app) with in game purchases for £1 or 2 a pop. It would take them one developer an afternoon to do it. And they would sell millions and millions of games that are atm worth zero to them.
Androids and ios, (thought they couldn’t have an game store within an app on ios) are powerful enough to to run everything unto the Wii u. There is no reason they don’t release upto the cube catalogues.
After bf and Xmas is over, you’ll probably get £140/50 on ebay for it.
That is a ridiculous deal. The best deal I’ve seen today. On anything. So so so much phone.
My MiL wanted a tablet, so I put her on to the hauwei media pad M3 lite (iirc), the one I just bought my girl for Xmas. Unbeknownst to me my wife brother and sis, had just bought her one that day, for her b/day on sun. So I had to hurry round there and seared her to secrecy that one is incoming, so she cancelled the one she ordered.
Also she is still rocking a moto E 4g 2015, 8gb, that is now slow and always full, so I just sent her this link and told her to spend £90 of the £200 she was going to spend on this G5.
She is going to be rocking some serious horsepower by weeks end.
Must be in the air bob, mines got an infection too atm. She don’t arf bang on about it.
Are you sure that columbian stuff you enjoy is coffee bob? ?
I’ve said for years, why can’t we just pretend we have trident, or if we are making crap up something better.
The best, most destructive, invisible WMDs, the world has ever seen, as Trump would say. Lol
A smaller highly trained force, that could just look after us. I’d still do nation service to. One it keeps unemployment lower with youth. two, it would mean we had a nation of 20m plus trained personal (eventually), that we could call on. Three, they could be used as a work force to build bunkers, etc around the country. (my Jr school had a bunker especially for the Russians). Four, it’s just bloody good for a kid, it teaches some good lessons, even if you don’t get it at the time.
I’d have anyone that leave school at 16 do 6 years. Collage leavers (18), do 4 years. And if you go uni I’d want them to do 2 years Starting before the age of 30. If you attend uni but don’t graduate, you’d do 4 years, starting before your 30th. If would put the draft dodgers off, while also insentavising those who want to pass a wee bit.
And I’d give the cream the option to become full time at the end if their national service.
Collage and uni grads would be put to work doing their choice qualifications where possible, this would give them the all important experience that all employers demand today.
I’ve had a PS3 controller on my phone, think it wad the note2, however I for info the Wii worked the best for most games, because most games only need a d pad and two buttons.
Playing old Mario roms for example just feel right with the Wii controller. As do most mobile games. Works perfect for game boy roms too.
I’m sure you can by cheap connectors to mount any controller to any phone.
Sixth would be stretching the truth.
It is about time we realise our place in the world. Unless we are gonna go all out and build the best navel and land force, or at least one to match, which we don’t have the cash or manpower to do.
We should either join an EU army, a cheap way to become the number one, or simply opt out of sticking our noses where they don’t belong.
If we stopped meddling, people may stop hating us.
Stop with the porn ?. We have rules around here.
If Im doing real work, one where you have to actually move, or rather bend often, coffee give me heartburn/acid, so then I’ll drink tea, but it goes through me, so I have to cut the intake in half.
The shit we talk about. Lol.
Side note, can you see this emoji ?
I’ve been known to fill a flask when the house is empty and I’m busy. Trouble is it just doesn’t taste the same out of a flask.
I just drink the one type of coffee, so that makes it simpler.
Lee, what’s the diffence between ‘normal’ and ‘breakfast brew’. I don’t mind a tea, if I’m at a a strange house, I’ll always go for tea, as I can drink it however, as long as it’s light on milk. Im fussy when it comes to coffee.
I hate going to non coffee drinkers houses and they have really naff cheep coffee. A small jar of decent stuff is only £3. Hardly break the bank for when guests come. Probably a pound cheaper, and telly only buy one jar a year.
We don’t drink tea, but I’ll aways by a decent brand. Admittedly it will be whichever has a deal on at the time. But a small box will do us 12 months. A small jar of coffee 2 days.
Yes John, I couldn’t just boil a single cup in a normal electric kettle. There is always bits in the bottom, though I think every kettle we have had, has had a small mesh filter behind the spout to catch the lime scale crud.
I’d imagine the inside of my current Insta kettle, is just a one cup kettle. (you can adjust the about the, form a cup up to a mug amount. My original Insta kettle (iirc tefal) that worked the same a vape ciggy pens works, by running the water over an electric element. That one was trully instant. The new one probably takes 10s longer. 25s in total for a mug full of almost boiled water.
I recon a good buy if your a single heavy drinker. Especially if you can find one on black friday. Save money (eventually) and get faster coffee. Faster coffee equals more coffee lol.
I seem to of not posted the reply I thought I did this morning.
My nan in the 80 replaced her gas kettle with an electric one the was the same shape of a traditional gas kettle. She asked me to make her a tea, I set fire to this plastic electric kettle.
She never let me forget it. The last time I seen her, the night before she died, she said to me “you never did replace that kettle”. It wasn’t until later that night I realise she knew she was off. The next day she passed.
I’d not thought of that for about two years, it may be a 3 years next month. Time flys.
Not often you get to feel smug with 10 year old pc’s lol.
What the hell is a slow boil kettle. That sounds the devils work. I have one of those, that boils a single cup at a time in about 10s.
They only make sense if you only have a single person that drinks coffee. As if you need to boil say 3 cups of water, I’m sure it takes more energy than boiling a traditional kettle.
Boil iis a stretch, I’ve had two of these ‘instant boil’ kettles, over the last 10 years, and they don’t quite boil. good enough for coffee, but they make a terrible cup of Tea. Also you can’t make babies bottles with them, (not an issue for us no more), but even with an ‘instant’ kettle, you’ll still need a traditional one.
Though I couldn’t live with out nine. This latest one, has lasted a long time too. Especially given I can drink a coffee an hour around the clock.
Just ignore it. You need to confirm an appointment time with them, as an eternal company does the fitting.
I canceled the appointment made with them. I actually wanted one, but decided to move suppliers, so thought it best not confusing matters.
I may see if my new provider is doing smart meters in my area once the switch over us complete.
I don’t recall the name zip disk, but after a Google, they look similar to the disk drives my Amega 500 used. Though iirc they was a little more square, like a “normal” 3.5 disks. Though I’m thinking back about 25 years. Eek!
I went for a hotpoint, as growing up everyone I knew had the cream and brown one they did, including my mum. They lasted forever. Sadly the grey one we got never.
My great nan, still had her twin tub untill her death in about 1990. I have no idea how she got it out the pantry and to her sink. She was a tiny women.
They rarely have a clue. It’s all guesswork.
Pffft spent almost £600 on a hotpoint washer/dryer combi in 2008, it was gone within 3 years. A right PoS it was.
We replaced it with two beko washer and dryer for around 300 for the pair, and they are still ticking along. Doing at least 4 loads a day.
The dryer doesn’t get used much in the warm months, but October through March it drys almost all out washing.
We did try a winter without a dryer, but the house looked like a Chinese laundry for the whole winter.
I wonder if out cheapo beko stuff will last 70 years? Lol
I’ll updated this thread in 2081. Maybe not given its doubtful I’ll make it, never mind the washer
Lol. Lovely uni, I read there. The main building, minus the 1960s eyesore of an library extention, is stunning. As is the old business school.
Given the hills your girl will have to navigate each day, she will be in peak health (minus the drinking), so I’ll pass on the wrestling offer.
