It started belting down here but thankfully only lasted 10 – 15 mins or I think we’d be knee deep in it by now.

Nothing here yet. Not expected until Thursday.

Daughter sent me some snowy pics from Bangor this morning.

Just seen this on E-Buyer Bob.

HP VH240a LED 24″ IPS monitor – Full HD (1080p) £125 and free delivery http://tinyurl.com/yd3pum5l

My experience of HP kit is that it is a bit dull and boring but very well made and likely to last.

Wish I was in Edinburgh tonight, it will be a hell of an atmosphere.

Should have put £50 on Ireland back at the start ?

Lots of being nice to the Scots in the build up, but it’s only going one way.

Too close to call at half time, but Sexton’s kicking is off. May be Wales can do us a favour.

I think I do remember the Cheshire Cheese from when I was working just over Blackfriars Bridge. We used to go into pubs around St. Brides quite a lot, but a quick look shows they’ve all been poshed up. St Brides Tavern now smart dress only! But that was at the time of the Bishopsgate bombing, so nearly 25 years ago. I used to walk down Bishopsgate on the way to Liverpool St as I was staying in Essex at the time. What a mess. I remember often calling into Dirty Dicks on the way.

We’re staying near Paddington, but the joy of London is it’s not hard to get around. We’re a 5 minute walk from 5 different tube lines. I did read up about the Grapes when I saw a bit on TV about Ian McKellern owning it and it looked good. The Cutty Sark / Greenwich via the hop on hop off river service is on the list. Could always hop off at Canary Wharf on the way back or get the DLR to Westferry.

Looks like it’s going to be wet this afternoon so will probably end up in Leadenhall Market for an hour or two then get something to eat and drink. Going 1st Class for the first time in my life as we got tickets for £20. Looks like it’s going to be one of the new GWR Hitachi “bullet” trains ?

If you are in Amsterdam you have to visit In de Wildeman Ironically it’s where I first tasted the Bristol wiper and true beers, but they now have their beers served in a lot more places locally.

Top of the list In de Wildeman this week is Fullers London Pride! Mind you they also have a Dutch Schwartz, a Belgian Quadrupel at 9.5% and an Ijsbock I’d like to try (I’m sure Bob knows all about Bocks). May be we’ll get there in October as we have done the last few years.

Back to Vienna in July which isn’t exciting beer wise, but as it’s all Southern German style I’m not complaining but they are nuts for cider. The Spar shop beneath the main train station was like being back home. Cans of Blackthorn everywhere.

Bristol is craft beer mad. Once the weather perks up I intend to get back to the rejuvenated docks area and the Wild Beer bar and brewery. 20 taps plus loads of bottles and cans from all around the world.

Off to London tomorrow for 4 days. I expect I’ll be having a pint or two of London Pride ? Might have to check out the Craft Beer Co pubs too.

4.4 apparently. Very slight here, more a noise than feeling of movement.

TBH I thought it was related to the work we’re having done in the kitchen until daughter whats app’d me from Bangor to ask if I’d noticed anything.

The give away should have been the sight of loads of Oxfam workers screwing anything in sight outside. ?

There were 56 minutes left in the match. It wasn’t a 79th minute we was robbed incident.

“Howley denied the disallowed try, which took place in the 24th minute when England were leading 12-0, ultimately cost his side victory.”

Retrospectively it’s been shown that there was a forward pass in Wales last try against Scotland that was missed by the TMO. It wouldn’t have altered the outcome of the match but it did gain a bonus point. Who knows what difference that will make at the end of the series?

Every team gets knock backs from the referee. Get over it.

EDIT this is the link https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/wales-receive-formal-apology-world-14284371

And despite the wording of the link it wasn’t an apology, it was an admission a mistake was made.

“World Rugby has clarified to the Wales team management as part of the usual review process with teams that the TMO made an error in the application of law during the England versus Wales match at Twickenham,” a statement read.

“In accordance with law 21.1 b Wales should have been awarded a try as the Wales player grounded the ball.”

What a game! Very entertaining. If france carry on like this then it will be them chasing the wooden spoon.

Well England and Ireland have the easiest ones out of the way, some might say Ireland have had two bites at that cherry.

I can’t see us losing to Scotland even at Murrayfield, however you’re going to have a fight on in Dublin. France at home to Italy – France even if they don’t turn up.

Then Ireland have Scotland at home, easy win. Likewise you against Italy at home. The French at Stade de France is never a given for anyone, you just don’t know which France team will turn up, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

Italy vs Scotland, who cares? But the fight for the wooden spoon will produce a good match for us neutrals and I’ll be cheering for Italy (but not because I hate Scotland, I think Italy deserve more than they get). You got the French at home, you should get that one. We have Ireland at Twickers – that could be winner takes all.

So you could do us a huge favour on the 24th. Beat Ireland and that would neutralise the risk of the French beating us.

Given the maths of bonus points etc. I still think that whatever it will all come down to England vs Ireland on the 17th March with you and France fighting for third and Scotland and Italy for the wooden spoon.

Rip off. The last W10 Pro key I bought from E-Bay was £3.69.

I’ve never paid more than £4.00 and even got one for £1.69.

I can reassure you that they all still work.
