Bob, like I said, make your own mind up.

      I haven’t yet.

Hancock has always been upfront about his career and life. Even the fact that he was ‘addicted’ to marijuana. I use the ‘ as it’s not meant to be addictive. He’s also experimented with hallucinogens, mostly ayahuasca.

Hawaas has quite possibly done more harm to Ancient egypt than all the tomb robbers, ancient and recent, put together.

The fact is we’ll never know the truth. Far too many personal agendas and too much time has passed.

I’d rather have more information to mull over than not enough.

I like reading about the slightly mad ideas out there, it keeps the establishment on their toes.  :yahoo:

Stonehenge was built about 2,500 years ago. Before the pyramids, in fact.

It’s very probable that the pyramids ,and the Sphinx, are much, much older than mainstream archaeology will admit.

It’s quite compelling but ultimately, make your own mind up.

        Some light reading follows.

        Astronomy, Geology

Also a good book is this one, loads in  readable condition for less than £3

Oh, and anything Zahi Hawass claims is to be taken with a shovel full of salt.

Didn’t get to Huyndai, Citroen, Renault or Peugeot.

Renault I know, the others not so much.

            Maybe next week.

EDIT – I did think that an option would be to install W10 from a USB stick and just wipe the whole 32GB. But I fear that would only put off the day we’re back here with the same problem. I’ve always been skeptical about these 32GB Windows devices since they appeared with W8.

I nuke my little Dell 3050 (pretty much the same specs) once a month or so, updates are a PINTA, never enough space. May well go back to Mint at some stage but some stuff didn’t play nice.

I went looking at cars the other day while waiting for the Royal Mail depot to open.

Seat Ateca is lovely, the Yeti is still a great car, very good offers available as the new model is due next year, the Vitara looks lovely but feels very tinny. MINI, what a joke.

Mazda, Ford, Vauxhall, Honda, Fiat, Toyota, Kia, nothing that would work for me. Lots that almost work though. Ditto Nissan.

VW, the Polo and Golf GT Line and Blue GT look very nice but I couldn’t get in and out easily enough.

That’s the right scheme. IMO the 3008 is way to much money, on Motability or otherwise. It’s almost Audi money.

It may well be a very nicely made car and be very good but it’s still a Peugeot. That’s going to be a big hurdle to a lot of people.

Mum wants one of the new Fire Sticks with the voice remote, I’ll have a good play with Alexa then. (That sounds so wrong)

                      Spinal Tap!

Does the iPlayer web portal still go to 11? Not used it for ages, I just grab the programmes via get_iplayer.

Some competition for Intel would be great news for the consumer, going back to the Socket A days would be nice, easy, cheap performance gains.

                          Not bothered either way.

As long as it works I’m happy.

IMO do what’s easier for you to deal with.

Got a Dickies coat from the ebay outlet last March, removable fleece lining, fully waterproof with a hood. Listed as ‘seconds’ as some of the velcro on the storm flap was loose. Couple of blobs of no more nails sorted that. Warmest jacket I’ve had since skiing gear as a kid.

                              £30 delivered.  :yahoo:

If they have a smartphone stick the SIM in that and use the 3 app.

About £400 odd with one of the accessories, sometimes hit £350.

Better not cos the SE version was £350

Luckily for it’s Argos, take it back!

£350 + 1 moth goody bag at GiffGaff for the full fat version.

I tried a 29er as well, looked like a kid that had nicked a grown ups bike!

Even though the lard bike is the same overall tyre size (height wise) as a 29er it’s just so much better. I’m always amazed at how it just keeps going. Far more capable than I am.

The new Schwalbe Jumbo Jim help a lot, I was really impressed with the On One Floaters, the Jumbo Jim’s are even better, as they should be, £115 for 2, which is cheap!

Looked at those kind of things before, no space to hang them and no garage.

In airport duties so when I was waiting for the flight information to update I built another one for my single speed bike.

My much loved 650 b mountain bike has gone. Local independent bike shop bought it from me.

In your situation I’d do it.

Get it sorted when the house is going to be a mess, rather than doing it later when it’s all nice.
