Got 2 Socket A rigs that I use as bedside tables. One of them is the first rig that I built from scratch that was all new.
That’ll be account specific, I get offered 4GB and the rest the same for £8 a month.
The G5+ is a great mid range phone. Camera is really great for the money.
Should be fine John.
That seems fair enough.
Get in touch with the seller, might be a genuine mistake.
If they act a bit arsey send it back, if not take a partial refund, more than enough to get the extra RAM.
No complaints here, one minor issue when using my phone and trying to put links in, if I try to put the link in mid sentence I can’t finish it, the link just gets bigger and bigger. If I finish the sentence then go back and put the links in, all is well.
Just tried it on my Chromebook and it’s the same.
No big deal, just a bit odd.
I’m not buying any meat for christmas until I see what I’ve won in the legion draw, it’s done the 17th of Dec this year.
Even if I don’t win any meat vouchers there’s always battering to be done over spirits and meat vouchers.
Lee, turkey is way better than chicken IMO. More flavour and usually cheaper (bar christmas time)
Lots of people have been having issues with the Pixel 2, from screen burn in to audio and even no O/S on the phone.
For the money Google are charging that’s shocking. The 5T is interesting, can’t deny that. Razer bought Nextbit, look at the Robin and you can see the similarity.
It’s a beast of a phone, no denying that.
I like it a lot. A bit of digging and it seems it’s £600 PAYG (+£10 top up).
If it wasn’t for Christmas coming I might be tempted.
It’s on YouTube somewhere. I’ll look tomorrow, knackered right now and a few beers in.
Edit. Found it in about 20 seconds.
It’s called a Freeman Flip, named after a BMX rider from many years ago. Scotty Freeman IIRC. Problem was mine wasn’t intended.
That was about 4 years ago, 3 bikes and 2 helmet cams have been and gone since then.
Thanks Bob. I’m 44 so it’s way too early for the specialists to consider surgery yet. Unless things get really bad.
Ed, it’s classed as chronic, I’ve had issues for about 2 1/2 years but I’ve always had joint pains so it was only about 20 months ago it started to get really bad. Thanks for the link though, I’ll have a proper look tomorrow.
Had a letter this morning stating that I had an appointment with 2 hip specialists. Today. The letter was dated yesterday. Must have been a short notice cancellation.
Luckily I had enough time to get there. Just. Saw the 2 specialists and 3 other people, all at the same time. After lots of prodding, pulling, stretching, pain and questioning they disappeared to have a confab. After about 5 minutes they came back and explained that the damage wasn’t severe enough for surgery at the moment, a yearly review was suggested unless the pain gets much worse.
I’m now waiting for an appointment to have a cortisone injection directly into the hip.
All of this was correctly predicted by an extended family member who is an ex nurse and now works in the pharmaceutical trade. The reasoning given was I’m young, still quite active and it would be very expensive long term to start messing with the hip now.
You’ll need a USB C cable for charging but at that price it’s a steal. OK, it’s refurb but it’s grade A.
I reckon you’d like the G5 then Ryan, more settings for the camera there than I’ve ever seen (or understand). It does a fine job in auto though.
The single speed is much better on hills now. Amazing what a difference a £5 part makes.
As an aside if anyone is getting a swanky new bike have a look at the video below, a very comprehensive lock test.
The one near me is handy but can be very expensive. On the flip side they do have crazy sales from time to time.
New sprocket fitted and the old chain was in better condition than I thought, also enough space in the dropouts to mean using the new chain wasn’t needed. I’ll be giving it a proper run on Sunday.
