I would say the G5 here, 4 weeks lead time though.  Unlock codes are under £2 on ebay.

You might get lucky and find stock in store near you, offer ends tomorrow though.

Thanks for that Bob, I might go down the local rip off, staffed-by-idiots disability shop to see if they have any out to try, then buy elsewhere.

There are a few on those links that look promising.

I Wouldn’t install that software on my PC, looks extremely suspicious if you have a quick google.

Steve, my X220 runs DiRT fine on the integrated graphics. 8GB of RAM helps mind.

I’ve been looking for some large handled cutlery for when my hands are ruined, like today.

Thing is I can only find very expensive stuff that looks like a nursery school kid should be using it.

I use a cleaver for chopping stuff as the handle and weight balance means very little effort on my part, I just kind of help it along.

I don’t mind paying a little over the odds of normal cutlery but about £9 for a fork/spoon/knife is a bad joke and I’ll need 2 sets, one each for my place and mum’s.

                    Any recommendations?

John, SoC. Basically it’s the mobo, processor etc.

It’s the SoC that bothers me, can’t find out if it’ll run Windows at all, I doubt it.

I may well have missed something as I’m knackered.

I doubt it’ll run it John. Even if it does it’ll be dog slow, 1GB of RAM from what I can see, hardly enough to run basic Android games let alone with the Windows bloat in tow.

If you haven’t bought one already hold fire, I think I have one knocking about somewhere, it’s an older one but works fine. Just a bit slow.

Give that a whirl, don’t want any £, before spending out on a newer one. I’ll look tomorrow if you want it.

The downside with the box’s like that one is hardly any support. It’s doubtful that they’ll get any security patches or updates.

I’ve done a few installs with them in the past but now it’s just Fire sticks or Box’s.

None of the solutions for under £50 are perfect, IMO the Fire devices are the best.

It does Netflix fine, not tried NowTv but I don’t see any problems with it.

Kodi works fine on the Fire Stick when it’s set up.

It just takes longer to set up than usual, using the Fire remote app helps alot.

Get a Fire stick. Apps 2 Fire and the Fire TV remote app are your friends.

Configuring Kodi is a bit more involved but no big issue.

I might be able to find one for you tomorrow if you are interested.

The Motorola G5 is no longer mine!

                                          Hasn’t even arrived.

Mum’s G4+ is running hot, I suspect a dodgy app update.

I’ll get the G4, so not all bad.

Knowing me I’ll just hang on to it.

Talking of good deals if you like quality undercrackers Amazon have a good deal on Under Armour ones if the size/colour combo is right for you. It was for me.
