Worth pointing out that my email stated £20 + for the sale, not including any p+p.

I have been using my phone and office lens (iirc) to record the majority of my stiff like that, so much faster than any scanner

            Same here, it’s so easy.

Hope it’s all going well for everyone, I’m just getting started on some beers so it’s getting better.

Dave, I can see the allure of the Belgian beers!

Don’t blame you at all Steve.

I have to go out tomorrow for supplies to cater for the people that weren’t coming. I’ll be at Asda for 6am. Then home and wait for the many Amazon deliveries.

After about 7am it’ll be nuts around here.

I can whole heartedly recommend the keyboard app Gammarly . wish I could move the emoji button. Other than that I quite like it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grammarly.android.keyboard

I love the fact that you misspelled the name of the app that has helped your spelling!

For me it’s SwiftKey all the way.

I’ve just been informed that some family members that ‘definitely weren’t coming to visit over Christmas’ are now coming boxing day. Perfect time to log into my account on the Amazon app (to claim my free £5) and use the 3rd Prime trial. (I usually order through mum’s account and transfer the money over). At the moment I’m expecting 9 deliveries tomorrow.

Amazon are going to damn busy over the weekend.

                          Yes.

It’s odd, I can understand virtually every word!?

In that case I might try direct with NV again tomorrow

My Shield controller started rattling a little bit a few days ago, nothing serious.

Picked it up today and one of the trigger buttons on the left is just flopping about, no spring action anymore and now there is a really loud, very annoying rattle to go alongside the original minor one. Contacted NV and they wouldn’t do anything without a copy of the confirmation email. Of course I couldn’t remember where I bought it from

Went through various searches on my email accounts and nothing relevant turned up so logged onto all of the usual places I shop and still nothing.

Then I remembered this thread. Quick search and up it pops, now I have the date I ordered the controller so another couple of searches through emails and up pops the order from Currys. Emailed them after trying to get through on the phone which was a waste of time being lied to continuously.

Thanks Lee for having a decent search facility, saved me banging my head against a wall trying to stimulate 9 month old memories of shopping!

The big Toys R Us near the Cardiff White Water, Cardiff International Pool and Ice Arena Wales has been earmarked for closure for a few weeks. The smaller one in town was meant to stay open. The big one is a nightmare. Went there once and never been again. Arrogant staff and a stupid layout.

The whole business model has been broken for decades IMO, it doesn’t work in the UK.

I did a early morning run to a quiet Tesco for some bits and pieces that are hard to get other places at the moment namely a duck and low alcohol wine. The place is amazing, not many people remember it’s there so they often have hard to get stuff in stock. It’s also huge. Why it’s still open I’m really not sure.

Other than that I’ve been sorted for weeks.

It’s near Penarth Dave, just across the river.

Battery life is ridiculous. I’ve been on the phone to various people today for about 3 hours, needed to update bank details, also been using the Google assistant a lot. Battery is at 73%. My LG G5 would be at about 30%.

2 day battery life is looking possible.

I had to do this about 2 weeks ago, bought some gloves but the seller had sent the wrong size.

Wanted me to stump up for return postage. Went to PayPal after giving the seller a fair chance of sorting it out and they provided me with a pre-paid label and as soon as it was in the Royal Mail network a full refund.
