Yes John, that one. As long as it’s not cracked or damaged any other way and not cross-threaded it should be ok.

Thanks Ed, it’s not the socket (on the camera) or the power brick as I’ve swapped the camera with an identical one from another location, still the same.

The plug socket I can’t get to in my knackered state but a sparks checked it about 4 months ago, he was baffled but guessed it was the old wiring in the house, the house is from about 1965, all the electrics upstairs are recent (within 10 years) and some of the downstairs wiring was done when the gas pipes from the road to the house had to be dug up and replaced and a lot of the internal gas pipes as well. The wiring that was ruined during this was updated. OFC the one corner that wasn’t touched is the one where the camera must be. ?

              Minor power glitch?

One of the power sockets at mum’s place is super sensitive to even the slightest ‘wobble’ in the power supply. The IP camera that uses it often resets itself.

Sadly not Bob, a bit of crusty skin and flesh wouldn’t touch most of the ones around here.

Saw a car delivery driver (guessing, it was just one person using trade plates) bounce a brand spanking new (protective plastic wrap still in place on some bodywork panels) MX5 on wafer thin low profile tyres out of a deep pothole in Barry today.  I reckon if the damage was just the tyre the driver was very lucky. I heard the bang 2 cars back.

Just been to see the nurse again and as I suspected, a minor hiccup has arisen.

Apparently the wound is now over granulating, in other words some of the healing flesh is standing proud and buggering up the final healing phase. So now I have to see the nurse every other day to treat that with silver nitrate. Again, hopefully in a week or so it should be healed.

I thought something was amiss this morning as the area around the wound just didn’t feel right.

Bob, maybe Google Groups could be just the thing for you.

Not sure it he actually needs Office 365 but I’ve been using Google Docs for a while for my modest needs.

Do you mean the Italian women’s side home jersey? If so I don’t think they are available.

If anyone would have them this place will.

Apparently the CPU is very close to the one in my Chromebook, performance wise. Of course Chrome OS and Android aren’t as lardy as Windows but I reckon you’ll be fine once booted up. OFC a SSD would be nice………

Fresh layer of snow on my car this morning, all but gone now. Still cold though.

About 9am I drove up to mum’s just to see how the roads were, I checked first which routes Cardiff Bus were operating, which turned out to be all of them with some diversions due to abandoned cars, very steep hills and the like. Not a problem if you have a brain that works.

Everything is freezing now, just cleared my carc of icicles and the last of the snow, due to have another lump tonight which will probably freeze solid. One neighbour came out and asked why I was bothering, I gave up trying to talk sense to him years ago. He’ll have a shock tomorrow when he attempts to clear his work van, 3 layers of snow and ice on it at the moment so maybe another 2 layers tomorrow morning. He usually leaves about 6.30am, going to be damn cold then. ?

It’s still snowing heavily here but it’s just wet enough to not stick. In fact it’s melting the stuff on the ground already

Same story here, usually have a bit of a drive on a Sunday morning when it’s nice and quiet, turned around and came home.

Main roads were getting covered but it was early (7am).Side roads are mostly covered with about 2cm of snow. Nothing has been gritted, not even major roads like Penarth Road which had a light dusting.

Is it a network locked phone?

If so trawl ebay for unlocking codes, feedback is the key. That Can help with the updates
