I think that your Win 7 licence has been upgraded to Win 10, in other words if you try and update your Win7 backup it’ll probably fail as the licence is now used for Win 10. By all means try it, just make sure there’s nothing vital on the backup.
Glad you’re liking the bluetooth in-car experience Bob.
The best £4 I ever spent for my new Swift was on a rubberised insert for the ‘phone shelf’, stops the phone sliding around and flying backwards under heavy acceleration.
If you like just having bluetooth, Android Auto integrated into a car will really impress you, I would find it hard to have a car without it now, same goes for a parking camera.
That’s a beast!
Glad you got it all sorted in the end.
LG/Nokia/Samsung are a few more brands that are reliable.
Many years ago I smashed my ankle. I was given a strong local anaesthetic, watching the operation. As soon as the first incision was made I informed the surgeon that it fecking hurt.
Epidural, some gas and I slept for about 16 hours
Yes JCD, the problem I have is no oral pain killers have worked at all for me for many years. As the Gabapentin is meant to modify the pain messages sent to the brain it ‘should’ work.
I’ve tried many pain killers, co-codamol was one of the many. They just don’t work, same story with lots of medication. The current consensus it a possible genetic issue, sometimes referred to as ‘awkward bastard’. ?
Sounds like the garage messed something up, probably something simple like a loose connection that could be rubbing on the steering column. Total guess.
Whatever the problem is as it started after the work was done by the garage they have to foot the bill. Unless they can prove you did something, prove is the key word.
Thanks Bob .
Hope you feel better soon.
I saw the GP yesterday, my pain has been insane for the last 10 days or so. I can handle a lot of pain, I’m used to it, but this was ridiculous. All my joints were bad but my back, shoulders and wrists were agony, my hip was so bad I had to alter my driving position a bit to straighten my leg out a little.
The GP had previously asked me to take Gabapentin or Pregabalin but I refused as I hate drugs of any kind. I’m now on Gabapentin, raising the dose as I want too to 900mg a day in 3 doses. The GP knows how I feel about drugs so I’ll see her in a month unless anything goes wrong or I’m not happy and then I’ll have an emergency appointment with a GP, not necessarily my preferred one.
Here’s hoping it works as the pain is so bad it’s very close to stopping me doing things and I’m a stubborn git that hates giving in.
?
Glad it helped.
Found them. Don’t bother with a cheap Qi charger, I’ve had 2 develop potentially dangerous faults.
The Nokia is the white one, complete with proprietary plug-may well be a use for old chargers they had sitting about as it looks like one from the Nokia 3220 era. The red one uses a micro usb port. Both are yours if you want them Ryan. Just let me have your addy. (Again)

Sorry, thought I made it clear in my post but I didn’t. Half asleep at the time.
The 240gb version of the Integral is now £41.61 with code BDAY15.
Apparently works with other stuff as well but it’s a minimum £30 spend.
Don’t buy one yet, I have a stand type one you can have. Not been used for a good while.
Might even have a Nokia one which were the best at one time .
I had my LG G4 charging through the sofa , the Qi charger was under the cushion cover.
IIRC it was Dell that used to have some proprietary PSUs. Could well be wrong there.
I’d have a good look at the knackered one and if all is well get a mid-spec, 400W odd branded job.
Code should be in the box already but if not it’s ZVSYRAFB
Dave, not quite the same as multiple cameras in one housing but my LG 360 Cam achieves the same thing.
Might be worth looking at something similar?
Link to some footage. Drag the viewpoint around for different angles, actual quality is way better than YouTube shows.
Looks like a shim so it’ll fit a laptop with a 9.5mm tall slot for a HDD/SSD.
Cuisine Royale. Until the 25th.
The DAB reception on my car is superb. Not really much of a radio listener but the traffic reports can be handy.
