I’ve had a horrible, busy week, lot’s of appointments and being in unfamiliar places with unfamiliar people.

I have gastritis and an antrum erosion. GP wasn’t overly concerned but said he’d wait until the results of the 4 biopsies came back.  8 weeks usually. Now on lansoprazole.

Also had to endure an interrogation by the SS. Or as the DWP puts it an assessment for P.I.P. I expect my disability benefits to be stopped while I fight them again. It’s what they do.

Good news is my Integrated Autism Service support worker is very good and has offered help with the almost inevitable denial of P.I.P. Apparently they have become quite the experts on the subject. Also she is going to have a word with the nutritionist and see if they can come up with anything that might help with my stomach issues.

Rheumatology consultant on Thursday, the consultant is very good but his consultant in training is far prettier. ?

Personally I wouldn’t bother. If you have the licenses for any paid for software, start from scratch using the media creation tool.

Can’t link too it as I’m on my Chrome Book and the M$ site just redirects me a direct download.

. It’s not arthritis, I’ve seen the x-rays. They don’t know what it is, they just say it’s “over strained”, but to me it seems like something is causing inflammation between the knee joint and the knee cap and that is hitting a nerve..

I have something similar in my joints, mostly hands, back , shoulder and wrists. Ankles are joining in more often as is my left knee and hip. They have no idea what it is so it’s been labelled as Chronic Pain Syndrome.

              Sorted the fingerprint unlock.

Somehow mum had managed to get a partial fingerprint stored on the phone. That wasn’t enough to unlock it. Registered my fingerprint and it worked fine. Reregistered mum’s print and it works perfect. Very quick as well.

Thanks JCD, seen good things about that brand.

                Steve, the 620 is analogue.

I’ve been looking at reviews on Amazon and elsewhere, personal feedback would be handy though.

Can anyone recommend a digital compressor, preferably with the function to stop pumping at a predefined pressure?

My car was feeling a little odd today so I headed straight to the Suzuki garage which is about a mile away from me. On the way the tyre pressure warning light came on, no problem, that would explain the odd feeling.  They were busy so it took an hour but no charge. They then explained that if I bought it in again it would cost £35 as they get about 50 phone calls a day about it.

Nuts to that, so a decent compressor would pay for itself quickly, especially with mum’s car. (I can’t use petrol station compressors as I’d need to kneel down and I need to use a kneeler, not using that in a petrol station as It’d be ruined in one visit)

Ed, do you use tempered glass screen protectors? If not you should I’ve never broken a screen.

Mum has ordered a Pocophone F1, from Laptops Direct. Should arrive tomorrow.

Not the cheapest option but I trust them and it’s not on a slow boat from China.

OFC I’ll be there at some point tomorrow to check it out and set it up. I’ll report back then.

Had the gastroscopy earlier today and it was horrible. 10 out of 10 to the staff though, they made the hideous experience bearable.  Just.

No food I coped with easy, lack of fluids was far more difficult.

Nothing serious wrong, but a mild issue I need to spend some time on Google deciphering  the medical speak. In and out in just over an hour, they fast tracked me because of autism and choice to have the throat spray, so glad I took my ear plugs, there was a machine that just made loud beeps for no apparent reason, like the machine that goes ping.

                                Do we ever grow up?

                                No.

I have no intention of growing up. I do grown up things, pay bills, try too look after the family and all that.

In my head I can still climb trees, fall from them and bounce. I can jump huge sand dunes, land on my face and laugh it off. Almost everything still amazes me, even though I understand most of it. A plane flying, for example. It’s crazy, even though I get the theory behind it all.

Probably my autism but I’m not complaining this time.

The Session IPA is a citrus flavour, why? Luckily it’s not over powering but I couldn’t drink many, I think 6 would be my limit. ?

I wouldn’t spend money on it unless it was on offer.

My 7″ Eee is still working, last time I checked about 6 months ago. It feels like a Fisher Price toy now.

Steve, this road is exactly like you describe.

They claimed they were sent that way by the satnav they’d bought along. They had just bought the H1 from a localish farmer and were driving it back to Gloucester. They are military collectors and were helicoptered in!!!

I hope the Police charge them for the hassle they caused.

Before my rheumatoid arthritis got to bad to cycle, I’d walk/cycle everywhere. I used to do at least 30 miles a day, rain or shine.

Even on my fatbike (when my hip was getting worse) I’d do 25 miles a few times a week.

My point is local to me it was easy to chain a bike up, get local meat/veg. My mate had the greengrocers diagonally across from the butchers. Now unless I’m there 4 hours before a shop opens, can’t park. Residents leave their cars in the disabled spots, technically that’s OK if the badge is being used correctly.
