The i3 that you link to is some 25% more powerful than the Core m3 in my Chromebook, I’ve had no issues playing any Android game on my Chromebook so as long as you’re not trying anything unrealistic with it it should be fine.
That’s exactly the kind of thing that I’ll be looking at in a while to replace my little Dell media box.
No idea Dave, they are rolling it out slowly, region by region.
Last time I looked face unlock wasn’t available in the UK, change the region to France, IIRC, and it shows and can then be used.
There were a few countries with face unlock enabled, India was another I think.
Just realized that I could check the box as I’m at mum’s awaiting airport duties, it’s the global version as well.
Where did you get it from? Mum’s has the option of the Nova Launcher or Miui as standard.
I don’t remember the nav bar on mum’s being grey in all apps either.
I wonder if you have a different version from mum’s, maybe a non-UK one versus a UK one?
I can check her version tomorrow.
HB JB!!!
Thanks ed.
I don’t get early morning gut pain, it’s as I eat and the day progresses.
The GP agrees that’s it’s probably a combination of the methotrexate (hence the switch to injections) and stress. I don’t deal with stress in the same way as ‘normal’, whatever that means, people. I have no problems driving in heavy, congested, traffic, not stressed at all, in fact I mostly like it, but put me in a waiting room anywhere, no matter how quiet and I’m very stressed.
That’s probably due to the fact that in my car I’m in my little world. (Not literally, OFC). In a waiting room I’m in the real world. Autism is never boring, that’s for sure.
Saw the GP again today for a follow up about how I’m doing on the lansoprazole. Thankfully that’s helping with the stomach issues but it’s still not great.
She noticed that my some of my finger joints were swollen and also commented on the cracked skin on my hands. I now have lotions for my hands due to possible eczema. Hydrocortisone for a fortnight, once a day, and Diprobase 3 times a day for as long as needed.
The way I’m going I’m going to need a fugging spreadsheet to keep tabs on all my meds!!!
Nice one Lee. ?
Real or not, enjoy.
Sadly this is a regular occurence not far from me, big hospital with young nurses (of both sexes) and lanes being one of the quicker (marjonly) routes to get there. Big problem is a nasty corner, about 45 degrees, which is a right turn onto a busy road. It’s also on a nearly blind bend from the other direction.
Weekly minor crashes and maybe 6 weekly more serious ones.
Had a fright today, hit some diesel or oil on a damp road while accelerating out of a corner. I know it well, usually loads of grip even in the wet. Car headed straight on, ESP going nuts. Had to go old school and lift of the throttle, change down, yank the steering hard, pop the clutch and wheel spin out of it. I hate treating my car like that.
Hopefully he’s just knackered from chemo.
Fingers crossed.
There was an official report doing the rounds some 20-25 years ago that said living on North Road in Cardiff was equivalent to smoking 20 Marlboro Red 100’s a day. There’s always been student accommodation in that area, close to town and unis but a bit cheaper for being outside of town. Now there’s loads. And most of them have cars and sit in traffic instead of walking for 15-20 minutes. Most of them spend a fortune on gym fees.
My Shuttle did exactly the same thing many years ago, it was my first post on the MM forum.
It turned out to be the motherboard failing. I sold everything else and made enough for a new Mini ATX system.
Ah, chemtrails. One of my favourite conspiracy theories.
Cloud seeding is often mistaken for chemtrails.
I’ve no doubt that chemtrails exist, albeit in very small amounts and probably mostly as weapons.
W.O.F, welcome.
Mum hasn’t been well for about a week (rotten cold) and decided that she wanted to watch Game Of Thrones, all of them, which are on DVD. One message later ‘I can’t find where to plug the DVD player in to the TV’, ‘No surprise, you can’t. I did tell you’.
Quick stop at Argos, I love Fast Track and disabled bays right outside, £29.99 and 30 minutes in total and Mum was happy again.
Could have got one on Amazon for a few £ less delivered tomorrow but for the sake of a few £, it was just easier to get it sorted today. And I don’t have to worry about contorting myself into awkward spaces, I’m dealing with that now. Guinness is helping. ?
Edit.
Completely forgot to mention that under the Input settings of the TV it gives a preview of what’s available on that input. You can also change the name of the input to give it a friendlier name, e.g. instead of HDMI 2, DVD player. I didn’t do this today as I was broken. Will probably do it tomorrow.
You can also add the input to the launcher, so it’s easier to find.
The more I use it, the better I like it. You can tweak it for hours or just get it set up for someone and walk away.
As for RTFM, not yet!!!
Can’t find it but it’s a Now TV Stick.
To log out go to the gears on the left hand side in the pop-out meu. (At the bottom)
For the money it’s a superb deal.
Daft even.
Does it happen on a smart phone over 3/4g?
Some weird ISP issue possibly?
