I’ve tried the 3D Live Maker app again, phone was mounted on a tripod so that was held in place. Also got one of my L.E.D. work lights out to provide some much needed illumination.
Managed to get a half decent scan of an old R/C Mini, not brilliant but recognizable. Also tried a Homer Simpson figure and that’s worse and took much longer.
I’ll get a couple of screen recordings done and post links later.
Finally going to get switched over to injections for my methotrexate, that happens in about 3 weeks time. That’s going to be interesting as they are self administered. Need sharps training and all the paraphernalia that goes along with it. Hopefully then my stomach will start getting better.
Also just had a text from the health board saying I have a letter waiting. One link followed and the included PIN and some personal details inputted and I have .pdf letter to view. At last I have a pain clinic date, new years eve at 11pm, yes pm, that’s what the letter says. It must be am but I’ll check anyway. Only taken about 4 1/2 months which is better than the 6 months + I was warned it would take.
Glad you’re back and at least able to bug us all on here. ?
I can believe that. Why not use one of the rear cameras ?
There’s an app in the Huawei App Gallery which could interest Dan, 3D Live Maker
I’ve installed it but find it awkward to use, that could be down to my physical health problems or the low light levels at my place. Or both.
I’ll give it another go at mum’s place next time I’m over there. More light and stuff to try it on.
That’s great news, thanks Lee.
Install Es File Explorer, that’ll let you find the SD card.
Play Store credit to use up soonish
I thought you meant like yesterday not 5 months on and still spending it.
John, I use the Google Opinion Rewards app, the rewards add up if you get about a bit. They expire after a year so it was time to use some up. Also recently got £4 from Google for nothing.
One thing I forgot to mention with the watch was the bluetooth pairing. Before my brother paired the watch to his iPhone I forgot the watch in the bluetooth settings and did a factory reset of the watch.
My brother paired his phone with no problems and all was well. For about 5 minutes, when he started getting my notifications and his phone wouldn’t connect again. The watch was not shown in my bluetooth settings. After some head scratching I looked in the app settings and sure enough the watch was shown as paired, this is after a factory reset of the watch don’t forget, I unpaired the phone in the app and all was well. That still has me confused that the app over rides the bluetooth settings, very strange.
Latest purchase is Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys. Still from my credit.
I was introduced to this album when ‘racing’ around Wiltshire looking for crop circles and climbing Silbury Hill.
I hope I still have an original album that was given to me by a friend in about 1997.
I’m still impressed with my 5T so you should be chuffed with the 6T.
The in screen fingerprint reader on my Mate 20 Pro works brilliantly but not for me anymore as I have to put gel on my hands 3 times a day so my hands are always a tiny bit greasy. Sounds like the same issue your having.
Shame about the Android Auto issues, I keep forgetting to try my mum’s Pocophone in my car.
If anyone is planning on splashing out on anything on Amazon a quick check on camelcamelcamel is worth while.
My brother fell in love with the watch so he’s had an early Christmas present and I made £50. I’m happy with that.
No idea how long he’ll have it though, my niece also loved it!
Thanks for that Lee.
Let him know that we are thinking of him and can’t wait to hear more of his tales.

White Rabbit Project is kind of similar, it’s hosted by Kari, Grant and Tory who were given the boot from Mythbusters.
Laptop backpack with USB charging port and sleeve. Follow the instructions exactly to get for £9.84
Just done it myself. Be quick before Amazon get on to it.
This is getting daft, 240gb for £24.99.
Don’t know about the company, but they are listed at Companies House, use a credit card if you go for it.
Is that on Wear OS? This uses Huawei’s own OS.
I’ve tried the watch for about 5 hours and can’t wear it anymore. It catches on my crutches and feels really heavy on my wrist (it’s not heavy really, just my knackered joints and the fatigue I suffer from).
I’m truly gutted. It’s a lovely watch and I really wanted to keep it. My brother is over this weekend so I’ll see if he’s interested in doing a deal, if not it may well be up for sale for a very nice price.
Had a bot of a play with both items now and I’m impressed. The wireless charging pad recharges damn quick, feels good and just works. Slightly rubberised surface holds the phone in place nicely.
The watch looks really classy, apart from the strap which feels substantial but looks like it belongs on a £20 Casio from the 80’s. There’s 11 faces too choose from, most are good but some are a bit daft looking. The OS is definitely geared towards fitness rather than smart functionality. I’ve only had it on for about an hour but it feels heavy on my wrist- I don’t wear watches normally though.
It’s well built and solid feeling, the 2 buttons feel very nice with a good ‘click’ to them. The recharging unit clicks nicely into place with the magnets and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to drop off.
Some will be disappointed in the lack of smart things but if it’s a nice looking well built activity tracker you’re after I’m sure there will be loads on ebay very soon.
I like it but I’m unsure if I’ll keep it, going to try it for a few days and see if it annoys me with the weight or not. Should mention mine is the all black one, a leather strap would look much better. Photo.
