Been at the christmas crackers have you Dave? The jokes inside area of the same quality…? ?
A few hours of use and I’m really happy. Premiere sports (for the Pro 14 Rugby) used to pixelate a fair bit and have dropouts, nothing tonight. Everything looks so ‘crisp’ and defined.
Youtube loads in no time at all, used to take maybe 30-45 seconds on the old Dell.
Money I didn’t want to spend but I’d have gone nuts still using the Dell.
Looks interesting Ed.
I look forward to the next instalment.
It arrived not long ago and it’s updating now.
Very fast. The i7 version must fly.
I might even get around to using the included VESA mount but I doubt it. Everything just works including my mouse wich runs of one of my keyboards USB ports, I was a little concerned about that.
Richard, Steve is Duke, no problem.
I’m back up there in 4 weeks, check up. Also my bloods have been ramped up, 2 weeks initially then monthly for 3 months rather than the 3 monthly it is now. Folic acid 6 times a week instead of 3 times as well.
Next time I’m up there I should, bloods being as they should, have 12 weeks worth and then it’d be handed of the the GP surgery.
Ordered the i3 64GB/8GB Chromebox 3. CCL had it for £435 ,£475 odd on Amazon.
Due tomorrow. Be nice to be able to watch stuff without issues.
I had the sharps and self injection training today, absolute doddle too do. The dose is in single use ‘pens’ which makes everything very easy.
Hopefully my stomach will start getting better now.
Stevie, that’s gnarly.
Glad you made it through.
Thanks Ryan. I’m aware of the new layout but didn’t know about the disabled spaces having changed.
Have a good one JCD.
Thanks all.
I’ll bag a chromebox later in the week probably.
ASDA have some good deals on LEGO, some kits are almost half price. This fact cost me £30.
Needed one last Christmas present so OFC I bought 3 sets. 1 for Christmas, one for my nephews birthday early next year and one to hide away.
All were the same.
They had a fair few that were cheap but I wasn’t impressed with most of them or they were out of stock. Idiots buying them to put away no doubt.?
All checks passed with flying colours so nothing wrong with it as such.
I suspect the rather weedy SOC is showing it’s age.
There’s enough space on the SSD, no additional programs installed . Everything is done via Chrome so no interference . Thanks though .
It’s running the extended memory checker having passed the basic check.
Thanks Jukebox, running it now.
Dave, no spinner here, it’s a little netop job with a 32gb SSD.
Keith, yes, drivers were done. Had the latest on a flash drive.
Juke, wasn’t aware of that, I’ll try later or tomorrow. Thanks.
Richard, I have no problem getting out of the house at any hour as long as I give myself , and my stomach, enough time to get sorted. Usually 90 minutes or so.
I’m awake for good by about 4 am most mornings so not usually an issue.
Rush ‘hour’ is the killer.
I had 4 stops this morning, shopping, pick up a click and collect order, doctors, pharmacist. One side of Cardiff to the other and back, via the doctors (maybe 1/2 mile from the centre) and back to Penarth to the pharmacist.
It was easier and quicker to go to the quite new Aldi first, via the A4232, back down the same road and all the way round Rover Way to Newport Road, back on the A4232 for a short while, through Grangetown to the docs, straight down Penarth Road to Tesco and the pharmacy. Probably 20 odd miles if not 25 rather than the 10 it would have been staying close to home but all done in 90 minutes instead of 2 1/2 hours+ if sat in traffic. If I’m burning fuel I want to move!
Next Thursday I’m at the Heath Hospital, other side of Cardiff to me, to get switched over to injections for my arthritis medication. 9am appointment is great in theory but traffic will be a nightmare so I’ll be there at probably 8am hunting for a disabled spot near the main entrance and then watching Netflix in the car.
