ASDA have 6 packs of Corona Extra, 355ml tins for £2.50. That’s not much more than you’d pay for one big bottle.
My local had a great big wall of them. I’ll be back tomorrow stocking up for a big birthday in the family soonish.
USB C charging is brilliant for a laptop. My Chrome Book will charge from almost flat to full in about an hour using the supplied charger. OFC phones using that also charge damn quick.
It will charge from a quick charge USB C phone charger but much slower.
Dangerous game being drunk enough to order things online but not drunk enough to forget your banking details!!!.
I’ve never done that though…. ?
Hope it works out.
It’s standard practice for the insurance companies to deal with each other, not you.
I can’t get on with audio books. They just don’t work for me.
Instead I read a book and put on some Hawkwind. ?
Most are fixed now Bob. However, Android in general has got much better at optimizing batteries.
I don’t even think about taking care of my battery anymore, Android does a better job than I can.
Granted I’m a bit of a upgrade fan but all my old Android phones still work on the original battery, bar my LG G3 which mum killed stone dead (The phone, not the battery)
Dug out my Orange San Francisco the other day, still works after a bit of a charge.
Just too muddy the waters a bit.
I take care of my teeth, just hate anybody poking around in my mouth.
Have regular eye tests, a much as I hate them, as mum has glaucoma and a cataract. Only the 3rd time her operation has been cancelled at very short notice, so short I’d just dropped her off at the hospital……….
If they could only unite, agree, demonstrate and apply similar efficiency and competence to the current state of the country, perhaps we would not be in such a bloody mess.
Like fairy tales as kid Bob? We all know that will never happen. ?
The last time I broke a tooth, on some unpopped pop corn, I went to my mothers garage and used some pliers to remove the offending gnasher. It was no fun but I despise people messing with my teeth or eyes.
That’s a great find Bob.
The BMW reference also applies to Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Land Rover/Range Rover and delivery drivers. Almost forgot Fiat 500 drivers, all versions. I’m sure the stalks just don’t work!
Just got back from the GP and the x-ray on my shoulder ‘shows no significant wear or damage’. The GP was a surprised, to say the least.
Anyway, he had a bit of time spare so arranged a steroid injection at the surgery almost immediately. I’ve had lots of injections around joints but that one was very bizarre, I could feel the needle ‘part’ the shoulder. It’s damn sore now but that should die down within 24 hours with luck.
Waiting on physio now. ?
I think some of you might like the stuff over here.
Some very interesting takes on stuff .
I’m also about half way through my first issue of Nexus magazine. So far it’s great.
Bob, loads of good stuff on YouTube/Netflix/Amazon Prime. IIRC you have Netflix via a family member.
Amazon Prime video is very good but can be a pain to find exactly what you’re after.
Nice one Ed, I’ll read that when I have time.
The headphones arrived earlier and I’m impressed. Not tried them for long but they sound great.
Thanks again JCD.
Thanks JCD, ordered some, Amazon Prime so if they don’t work for me, no problem.
I’ve had many appointments over the last few weeks, many more to come.
One suggestion to help with my autism related anxiety and panic attacks was listening to music more, instead of just in the car. So I need a decent set of bluetooth earbuds, that aren’t expensive, work with awkward ears and people, in other words, me. Good battery life is a must, USB C charging would fantastic but micro or even mini would be O.K.
About £20 would be my ideal price, don’t want to spend out more on something that might not help. The ones that came with my Mate 20 Pro are amazing but wired and my crutches always snagg them, no matter how I try and route the cable.
I believe Duke and BL have some knowledge in this area.
T.I.A.
Bob, there is no chance of something that small getting anywhere near never mind in an engine.
That.
Small drones get very unstable very quick. Get to close to a wall and they get ‘sucked in’. Same for a ceiling. Can also happen outside with a bit of foliage.
I am aware of someone, friend of a friend type thing, that does drone photography/ videos for some big names, Red Bull, Honda and so on. He’s had drones knocked out from 50 foot height by a powerboat. About £5k in the drink. He’s also had drones just stop responding. The GoPro Karma was/is famous for this.
Anything small enough to avoid radar or peeps on the ground would be wrecked in no time. IMO if you were going to carry out a terrorist attack a drone would be daft now, everyone is looking for them. A big, fast, gasser helicopter would be the way to go. Might confuse the radar operators enough to let some security slide.
A up Dave, I thought you had crossed the river and started to speak Welsh when you said. Tidy or what. I’m sure PM will correct me and that its: Theres tidy or what.
‘Tidy’ is just fine, ‘half tidy’ is better. ?
