One month into my 6 day a week gym routine. At least an hour a day.
All my muscles are sore but it’s a good sore.
Building some muscle on my shoulders, arms, back and abs where the fibromyalgia affects me the worse.
Still scares the s^^t out of me every time I go but I’m paying so I go. Feel so much better for getting exercise regularly.
Downside is I’m hungry often. I can burn through 600 odd calories in an hour and I can’t physically eat enough to get the protein I need so shakes are needed. Got some high protein powder from Argos for £10 a bag, usually £25 odd , either someone messed up badly or they didn’t care.
The thing that will probably stick in most peoples mind is that he went straight for the throat.
He could easily have just got in her way, hand out in front of him and told her she was going no further.
I think both should be under investigation.
I live on what is technically a flood plain. I’m almost equal distance between 2 rivers that used to burst their banks fairly often before I was born.
Since the Cardiff Bay Barrage was built I haven’t seen either the Taff or the Ely get anywhere near the top of their banks near Cardiff.
I have seen both rivers look close to bursting their banks further up-stream a few times when I was doing fairly big miles on my bike and once was very glad to have a fat bike when the the Taff did slightly overflow (can’t remember where but on the way to Merthyr on the Taff trail) as one of the lock gates on the barrage was stuck.

John, are they in your Photos app (The Google one) on your phone?
If they are select the videos (You might have to do them individually), when they are full screen on the phone, bottom left corner you should see an odd looking symbol . Tap that, select create link, then email the link to the iPhone owner. That’s always worked for me in the past. The same link should work no matter what device it’s accessed on.
In theory.

If the wind changes your face will stay like that.
Red works for me, it’s my favourite colour and the colour of Welsh rugby.?

Listening on these, My Taotronics went to a friends wife who forgot her headphones on the way to the airport. No time to go home and get them and I had them in my rucksack with the spare bud size things.
The new headphones feel a bit cheap, the controls are a bit awkward and they look a bit ‘bling’, the sound is amazing though and the head band feels solid. I just wish the sound was a bit more adjustable, I have them on the lowest possible volume and It’s just tolerable for me. If I could knock it down by 0.5 it would be perfect.
I used to wander across Cardiff with up to £30k + in cash in my rucksack when I worked for Lears, (Major bookshop at the time, became part of Blackwells.) That was Christmas time.
I changed into my skateboarding clothes and went out the back door of the Bargain Books shop, over a wall into a multi storey car park and just wandered/skated to the night bank. One year we had over £45k to bank the Saturday before Christmas so that was split between two. We had 2 branches of the bank roughly equal distance away so that helped with randomising movements.
Result!
Dave, I know what you mean about the change in the pockets. Anything under a quid goes in my change pot.
I use cash often but there are times when using my phone is just easier.
Today was a prime example, yesterday some volunteers put up new curtains and curtain rods in the legion. Some of the rings broke so they ran out. I stopped at Wilko today and got some. Using cash would mean navigating the car park, parking up, hobbling to the cash point, driving another few shops down and then hitting Wilko. All in the torrential rain. Nuts to that.
Parked right outside, collared a very nice youngish female assistant, tap my phone and within 5 minutes back in the car.

USB C is the way forward. My last 2 phones, my Chromebook and Chromebox are all USB C. I won’t touch a device (for myself) that isn’t USB C.
Unless it’s a legacy device or dirt cheap.
The router has gone back to Amazon.
Mum had a call from Virgin offering exactly what they have now for £26 monthly for a year. Half of what they pay now.
Asteroids type game as far I can tell.
Today mum jumped through the cancelling Virgin hoops. Over an hour.
At one point the the ‘customer service’ woman insisted that you need at least 35 down per person to stream TV/Netflix/Youtube and so on.
Mum gave me the phone and I told the woman that she was doing one of 3 things: 1, blatantly lying 2, massively unaware of the facts 3, reading from a script. No response. Line goes silent for about a minute then the voice comes back ‘we have a technical issue so can’t check on the actual speeds required’. Virgin kicked to the curb in another 30 seconds.
I’ll get a Smarty unlimited SIM for the first month, £15.15 Topcashback and a £25 Amazon voucher. That’s getting done tomorrow.
Gutted.
A Chromebook with Android support (even better Linux and Android) is as useful IMO as any Windoze laptop.
Having said that mum has a T420 that might be available, has a 120gb SSD (I think, would need to check) and it had a new battery when it was bought as a refurb. Hasn’t missed a beat. It’s hardly used anymore, sometimes for a bit of printing that’s it.
My X220 is only kept as sometimes I need to help people with Windoze and it helps me keep my knowledge up on it. Not used much either.
Android/Chrome OS pretty much all the way for me and mum.
If I could just put one thing in this discussion.
I’d like to think that we might get to the point where Twisted Sister banged the nail on the head.
