I saw something along those lines a few months ago, really can’t remember where though.

It’s possible it was here but I can’t find anything there now. Could have been in my news feed.

but the tablet Android is only 6.0 and is not upgradeable, so cannot take A Auto.

Not strictly true Bob. Not officially, maybe.

              Have a look here

Not sure why Android Auto won’t run on the tablet as is though, it should install but it’s possibly the lack of a data connection that’s the problem. Try hot-spotting it to your phones data connection then installing it.

If it just won’t install you might like to tr y this to grab the .apk from your phone then email, use a flash drive, whatever to get the .apk on the tablet and install from there, you will have to delve in the settings to enable installation from unknown sources, just switch it off again when your done.

              Worth a go.

Bob, totally agree about keeping the ‘engine’ working. I have asthma, when diagnosed it was deemed life threatening.

Now I have the lungs of a semi-pro/ pro athlete.

I went into the gum this morning and one of the instructors was there on my favourite exercise bike. He’s a big lad, 6′ 2″ odd, all muscle. Was apparently a Wales rugby hopeful but an injury stopped that.

He finished on the bike, wiped it down and I jumped on and apart from adjusting the saddle height carried on with the resistance settings he’d set. (Max on air resistance and 4 out of 7 on magnetic). I could see him watching while he did some cleaning. After my 20 minute set he came over and asked how I could do the power output I managed. Autism was my reply, shut off the rest of the world and nail it.

3 have announced that 5G won’t cost anymore than they currently charge.

That’s a bold move which could grab them loads of customers.

I was sat outside the doctors 5 minutes ago and I was so hot my eyes were sweating. Indicated 33c by the car but being in direct sunlight made it feel much hotter.

Steve, the 2017 ST I could get now but the interior is so dated I couldn’t live with it.

Now I’m used to Android Auto I’m not going without it.

Richard, my plan has always been to work my way up to a hot hatch, it’s potentially coming around quicker than I anticipated but I’m not complaining.

Bob, I know what you mean about idiots in older cars thinking your car is slow. Happens often to me as well.

Finally got confirmation from the incompetent fools at Virgin Media that I’m going to free of them come the 21st of August.

Now I await a response to my complaint.

Massive headache after being on hold but it’s worth it.

Now need to track down the best deal on Vodafone Unlimited Max, currently, for me, this one.  £20 a month after the automatic cashback and a possible £20 after TopCashback and a code is applied.

Bob, not my kind of car. Not yet anyway.

I’m after a hot hatch when my body can still handle. In 3 years time I might not be able to have one.

I’m surprised at the emissions of the IX 20, 149 g/km versus 136g/km of the ST.

Don’t fancy one of these Nolan? https://tinyurl.com/y6hj6fbf Hyundai are making some great motors.

Yes Bob but it’s bigger, higher insurance group, thirstier and more expensive.

I don’t need anything bigger than a Fiesta size car.

Made some offers on Swift Sports this week, dealers want to much IMO. Nobody will budge.

Leave it a month and they’ll be looking to clear stock for the ’69 plates.??

That was my thinking as well.

All the Suzuki (and a few Ford) dealers within about 100 miles have my email and what I’m willing to spend to change. It’s up to them now.

So now I’m seriously considering saving more money and going for a lightly used Fiesta ST.

Main reason being that it’s the same insurance group as my current Swift due to the Swift using fancy technology to keep the weight down. They bounce very well but when they bend it costs a LOT to fix them.

Lightly used ST-2 are currently going for about £1500 more than a similar age Swift Sport, more power and allegedly better handling. And there are many more too choose from.

Highest I’ve seen today was 33C. That was in the car at the national speed limit.

Air con on’freeze’ setting and my t-shirt was still slightly damp!

In the gym this morning I lost about a kg due to sweating so much and it’s air-conditioned.

Being a Cardiff born person I’m not used to nice weather, I can’t handle it.

Currently enjoying a Honest Graft IPA.

Very nice and only £1.25 in ASDA. Have a Golden Ale to try as well.

Vodafone 5G is a fair price. Unlimited for £30 a month. £20 after some cashback.

OFC you need to be in a coverage area. I’m on the edge of it but the 4G is fine for me.

                                            Result.

Even more of a result today, shifted some stuff around to make a bit more space next to my USB charging brick and did another test.

That’s over twice as fast down and nearly 7 times as fast up as Virgin give me. ?
