I’ve been 5G only for a good few years.
I’m with Lebara (Vodafone) and it’s far better than Virgin cable ever was and cheaper.
3 isn’t an option here, signal is poor. Shame as it’s really cheap.
Mum is out of contract on both her phone and broadband so ordered a Smarty SIM yesterday for her to try in her phone. Hopefully the Smarty (3) signal is as good as it used to be and she can ditch the Virgin muppets.
Thanks Ed.
I’ll have a proper look when I’m more awake.
Looks very powerful
Ford had a problem a few years ago with people capturing the signal from the key fobs on keyless entry and go Fiestas. The solution was a motion activated key fob. Simple and works well. For most people. Because of the way I move on my crutches the motion sometimes isn’t vigorous enough to enable the key fob so I have to shake my pocket a bit. Can look a bit strange in the supermarket car park….
I’ve had a similar email, no idea when it’s happening though.
Ed, I’ve been doing the swabs for a long time now, not sure exactly how long but I think from the start of the survey. I’m still getting a bod at the door once a month or so.
Info for Wales.
Good news that your settled and got a job.
The health issues are not so good but at least you know about them now and get sorted out.
Keith, your coat is over there. 😉
How much time the Blur photographer spend setting up his kit and how many photos did he shoot?
I’m guessing it’s plenty on booth counts.
Ed, as far as I understand it, Ford went for the mild hybrid approach as a way of getting more power from a tiny engine.
The turbo on the Puma is a great big one, relatively speaking. That means lag.
The battery is used to provide a turbo like shove while the turbo spins up.
It was never about economy, although it helps a bit.
Keep forgetting to come back to this topic with photos.
Anyway, got a nice shot this morning of Penarth.
I did just over 800 miles over 4 days last week and enjoyed the vast majority of it. The M25 was a total disaster though. Averaged 47 MPG while not hanging around. My Swift Sport would have been around 36-38 MPG.
I can imagine that racking up the miles like you do Keith would be a nightmare.
My car is in for a service now.
I have an automatic Focus as a courtesy car. Oh dear. The gearbox is terrible. It can’t decide which gear it wants, changes are clunky and it holds onto the lower gears for a really long time.
I hope the service doesn’t take long.
No denying that they are expensive.
Painfully so if you get it brand new.
They are a niche product so will probably always be much more than an equivalent specification traditional form factor phone.
Thanks both.
I’m still rough but a bit better.
It’s hard to tell if it’s an actual reaction to the Jab or just my arthritis /fibromyalgia playing up coincidentally.
As I’ve felt like this after them all it must be the Jab. Makes no difference which one I have.
Could be a lot worse.
Had my 5th Jab earlier and I feel rotten now. Extremely tired and all my joints and muscles are killing me.
Had a letter today giving me a date for a pre op assessment early next month. For what it doesn’t say.
It’s either my hip or shoulder. Hip I find hard to believe , not been on the waiting list long. Shoulder is less likely as I haven’t seen a surgeon yet!
Pointless trying to get information from the GP, I was recently forcibly moved as my surgery shut. The new one has systems in place to frustrate you every step of the way.
Just had a date for my 5th jab. Week tomorrow.
I’ll be on first name terms with the staff before long!

Amazing. It’s a sad thing but war drives innovation forward quicker than peace.
Having a bad day Ed?
I agree that stupidity is endemic in software and website design.

I fear the war may get worse before it gets better but I honestly think Putin is looking for a way out that he can spin into a victory.
