Thanks Bob. Mostly better. Had a good session in the gym and that always helps.
Had a bit of a karma type thing this afternoon, bloke in a 18 plate Audi, nothing special 150 BHP at most and weighs about 500 KG more than my car. Sat at traffic lights on a roundabout and he was reeving his engine, looking at me and basically being a knob. The roundabout can lead to slip road onto a national speed limit link to the M4.
I clocked a silver BMW 5 series, estate, about 5 cars behind. Something not right about the front bumper.
Anyway, mister Audi bombed off on amber, bounced his engine of the rev limiter twice that I heard, cut someone up on joining the national speed limit road and vanished in the rain and mist.
BMW engages warp speed with the blues and twos going full force. Angry mister Audi is now much angrier, I bet. 😀😀😀
Welcome John. 👍
No problem John, I’ll do it now.
John, I’ve downloaded it on my Chromebook.
I can put it in my Google Drive and PM you a link if you want.
John, if all you need is 32GB I’d go for this.
I use the 64 and 128GB ones in my little Panasonic camera.
Thanks all.
Dave, I’m staying away from the PC’s as long as possible. If I get dragged into looking after them I’ll look at Syspectr, thanks for the heads up.
Can’t argue with you there Dave.
Totally pointless.
Watch out for the WiFi on the cruise ship, could well be satellite broadband. £££££.
Not got around to setting mine up. There must be a better way of packaging these things.
Don’t quite get you there Dave. Do you mean the ‘retail packaging’ or the shipping packaging? Or both?
Mine was in a small box about 5 mm bigger than the retail packaging in all directions. The gap was filled with shredded paper.
Picked mine up earlier today, living almost in the main post office depot has it’s upsides.
For anyone that’s not played with one (or something similar) it’s a piece of the proverbial to set up.
I have no need of it so it’s going to mum’s place tomorrow. It should be very handy for mum.
Latest freebie is Joan Jett, Bad Reputation.
When I can’t be bothered to plug my phone into the car (short trips) I have Planet Rock on via DAB. They played a few Joan Jett tracks and I was amazed I’d forgotten about her for so long.
Carphone Warehouse used to do ‘grey imports’ to keep costs down. I don’t think they do anymore but with a G5 it’s a possibility.
Suits me Bob. No rush.
Definitely some £ to the RNLI.
Thanks.

Bob, I’d buy them off you.
Either that or give some £ to a charity of your choice.
I’ve just bagged a Action Camera from Argos for £15. It’s a clone of my SJ4000 but with WiFi.
The battery’s are identical as is the waterproof case. The battery release isn’t as good on the £15 one, you need a blade or small screwdriver to release the hatch, on the SJ400 it’s a sliding catch.
The accessories are fine, nothing special but should do the job if called upon.
None of my SJ400 battery’s are charged so I’m waiting for the new camera to charge before I can have a play with it.

Apart from being able to see that it’s changed shape slightly I can’t tell anything else about it.
If you or your dad have better quality footage get in touch with a group in the relevant area. If there isn’t one you could try BUFORA
BUFORA charge £5, probably because of the volume of reports they get.
The local paper might be worth a look to see if anyone has reported something similar.
BL, unless there’s some odd firmware type thing it’ll just work with any unlocked 3G/4G ‘device’, or 5G if you have the £££ too spare.
One tip for anyone considering this is keep hold of old SIM card nano/micro/mini ‘adaptors’ (The different sized push outs that normally come with a SIM now) . My Vodafone SIM came as a nano only, my router takes a micro SIM so delving through older phone boxes was required.
This is a very interesting topic and I wonder the impact it may have on conventional broadband.
Hopefully make the likes of Virgin Media seriously think about their customers. Though I doubt it.
I’ll save £180 over 12 months. I was with Virgin Media for broadband for a very long time, since the NTL days. Every time my contract was up I had to fight them hard to get a fair price. I was stuck with them as ADSL was feeble.
When my 12 months with Vodafone is coming to and end I can see what deals are available and have ammo for negotiations.
A load of Bat Man games on Epic Games.
