God luck Dan, I had a lot of good times in Cwmbran.
Not as many loonies as Newport (in my day) but they were a few notches p the loony scale.
I’m still loving the Mi Mix 3 5G for my broadband. The 5G signal on Vodafone here is getting more stable.

That was yesterday on the Mi Mix 3 5G while streaming Netflix.
5G really is brilliant if you can get a decent signal.
I was able to view the code on my phone, not tried it on anything else yet
My gym overlooks the River Taff and that had caused devastation and misery further up it’s course.
Today there was a boat collecting flotsam in it’s ‘mouth’, nothing unusual in that, it does it regularly but today it had a full raft of wood and shite in front of it. It was having trouble pushing it all.
No idea where it was going with it as there’s a council slipway across the road and I thought it would have parked at least some of it there for collection.
More rain warnings for tomorrow and Thursday.
Result Bob, congrats!
Yes Ed, just seen some photos from a mate on Instagram and the Taff is close to bursting it’s banks in Cardiff, it has in the Castle grounds, the Taff is about a mile away from me as the crow flies.
The Ely is about a mile the other way.
The flood gates on the barrage are apparently fully open. They’ll need to be.
I’ll see if I can get home later, at mum’s on a fair sized hill ATM.
🙄
A few layers of duct tape should work.
Try the 3 SIM in a phone with the hotspot turned on to see if that solves the issues.
Yes Ed, the Pocophone X2 is looking good so far.
Xiaomi use the full Google Services so everything works out of the box, banking, everything.
Lee is probably bang on the money but it just might be the wheel balancing.
Screen protectors came today but they are not the ones I ordered so they’ve gone back.
Got a few photos on Sunday, cameras are very good, especially indoors, but over do the colours outside, very nice but not realistic. All settings were left on auto. Didn’t have time to try different modes.

Top is the Mi Mix, bottom is the Mate 20 Pro.
Richard, yes, joint pain is a real nightmare.
On the good side I had a tentative all clear from the physio today, if the progress continues, no need to go back.
Had an ultrasound scan of my hands today, the doctor couldn’t see any problems with my joints.
Which is good.
But confusing, as he admitted. Hands are really painful, still.
The GP that had me fast tracked for the scan strongly suspects that I’m an the early phase of Raynaud syndrome.
Time will (maybe) tell.
BL, yes, same firm.
Oddly the Laptops Direct one wasn’t available for dispatch until the 2nd of Feb when I ordered mine (yesterday).
Steve, I’m not meat free, I love a steak, ribeye, and like chicken. Also love pork but can’t eat it at all, gives me really bad stomach issues for a few days at least.
I eat a fair amount of meat free stuff, mostly quorn or Linda McCartney. ASDA have a nice range of their own brand stuff in the chilled section, what I’ve had so far has been really nice. Not the stuff I usually buy but when my hands are knackered it’s handy to have the option.

Really liked that one, £2.50 IIRC.
As for the B12 deficiency, low salt Marmite works for me, blue lid. Also has a fair bit of folic acid, which I need.
This popped up in my news feed earlier, another great gone.
Ed, I’ve had a fotopro UFO2 tripod for a while, it feels way more sturdy than a Jody gorillapod.
Easily holds the Z82 upright, or in any other position.
Keith, they both have HDR and also iHDR, if you get the settings right.
Cardiff is contemplating a congestion charge for non-residents.
I agree that something has to be done about traffic, especially the lazy and brain-dead who are physically able to make short journeys by foot or bike and just drive everywhere.
I’ve seen one of my neighbours bundle 3 kids into a car to take them to school. The school is 10 minutes walk for a small child at most. I couldn’t be arsed to do that. Way too much hassle.
