Should work on most major networks, some MNVO are blocked by the ‘parent’ companies on certain phones. Just to f*ck with you.

Check that it’s your actual phone model, if it came from outside the EU (as in sale area) it could be different.

      Info.

I’ll go for either a cheap tracker in the vehicle (I have a very cheap one in my car, £2 a month, works well when you understand how it works) or a temporary loss of signal.

Could also be a an issue with the closest 3/4/5 G tower to the vehicle.

Extreme cause could be the van is actually in the water!

I sure did Boris. Thanks again.

My intention was to see at least one other castle in the general area but I was just too tired.

Some great roads around there as well, thankfully Waze likes to take me down the twisty ones which is what my little car is made for.

Made it to the White Castle today. It’s a cracker. I was a bit worried as for someone that’s knackered it’s a pretty big site but I managed to get about on my crutches OK. I’m totally exhausted and in lots of pain now though.

Can’t comment about the cameras but had a similar experience today with some sketchy people.

They knocked my door, clear signs essentially telling everyone to get lost, I ignored it as I usually do.

Then they were up and down the cul-de-sac knocking on doors, now with Cardiff Council high vis jackets on. Their vehicle was an ancient Ford Focus Estate. Don’t think the council run those.

Called the local rozzers and they confirmed they’d had some calls from different areas about the same 2 blokes. Van dispatched.

There is no way for them to get into my house without making a lot of noise and drawing a lot of attention, front door could stand in for a small bank vault,  one of the previous owners was a female nurse and had all the locks and hinges upgraded.

Back garden is it’s own ecosystem, probably have some Pygmies and unique species living there.

                          Edit.

                          Thanks Lee! :good:

Yesterday I went to a couple of castle’s that I didn’t know existed until earlier on in the day.

One of them was a bit of a let-down, 10 minutes was plenty of time there. Really not much too see apart from 4 walls .

The other was epic. Well worth the effort. Coity Castle is the one.

I’ve jst given notice to cancel my Vodafone 5g SIM only plan. Nothing to do with the service at all, I’m chuffed with it through the Mi Mix 3 5G but I can get a better deal through a couple of websites than Vodafone will offer me direct. The meagre discount they’ll give me is £2 a month for 24 months, bringing the cost down to £24 a month.

I can get £160-£170 automatic cashback, no claiming involved which brings the cost down to about £19 a month. Could get a lot more cashback but I know I’d either forget or mess the claims up.

                                Sorry to hear that Bob.

I myself had to change my diet recently, I had to cut down on fibre and stop having dairy due to suspected IBS.

Autistic people are more likely to suffer issues with their guts and my stomach is also slightly damaged from the oral medication I was on for my arthritis.

Thankfully the stomach pain is much better than it was and I don’t need to be near a bog soon after I eat anymore.

I really miss my brown bread, butter and banana sandwiches. :negative:

Good luck with the forthcoming succession of your collective genes.

When my niece was being toilet trained, nephew still in nappies, she had a ‘moment’ at mum’s house.

Brown stuff all over the stairs and herself.  :negative:

I was so glad I didn’t live there. It was hideous. Brother and his then wife toiled for about 3 hours cleaning up. So I was told,  I was home shortly after, taxi booked half an hour before the mishap.

I had an annoying squeak the other day in my car.

Sounded like it was from near the passenger front wheel.

As I’d been forced into a large pothole by a lorry in a lane the day before I had it checked out by the garage where I got my tyres.

                                      No damage. :good:

Still the squeak. It wasn’t making the noise all the time but most often at a junction when the engine restarted after switching itself off.

Finally tracked down to the window cleaner bottle I keep in the passenger door pocket. The 2 microfiber cloths that  usually wrap around it to keep it in place had moved just enough to let it squeak against the plastic door pocket at certain vibrations.

Finally got a chance to fly the large drone today. Really impressed with the performance considering it was windy high up.

The satellite systems work a treat to hold it pretty much rock steady even in the higher winds. The return home function also works very well, bringing it back to  within about 20cm of the take off spot. It’ll also return home automatically if the battery gets too low. One thing about the return home function is the quadcopter goes up high on it’s way back, could be an issue if there are overhead wires or trees near.

Being able to store photos on the phone is handy but the ones stored on the SD in the quadcopter are a little bit better quality as they haven’t been transmitted via WiFi.

I’ve seen loads of people acting like t*ts around the beaches. Penarth front at about 8.30am on Saturday was heaving, hardly anyone with a mask on and the only place I saw social distancing being enforced was at a kiosk. Otherwise no-one bothered.

                                          I didn’t stop.

Cardiff Bay had some trouble on Saturday, again. :negative:

It seems to me that most of the younger people (under 30, roughly) just don’t give a crap about anything anymore.

As usual the weak point is the user.

I hardly use anything but ChromeOs and Android.  I have Mint on my X220 but that’s rarely used these days.
