Don’t those glasses make you feel sick ?

Not at all. Getting about on my crutches was difficult for the first few hours though, had to use my toes to double check my foot position on uneven surfaces.

Thanks Keith, took literally hundreds of photos, 4K  burst mode is very handy on the Panasonic cameras.

Yours is very nice . :good:

Until you get used to them be careful walking down stairs, and things like reaching for a glass of water on a table.Varifocals can totally screw up your ability to judge distances accurately!

They warned me about the distance judgement issue and I found out first hand when I nearly dumped a Guinness all over myself in the Legion! Very strange for the first few hours.

I was also warned not to drive in them for at least a week.

Sorry for the double post but I’m mildly inebriated, should have explained that Oneplus still do cracking screen shots

Picked the specs up today and I’m mostly doing OK with them. Having some issues getting the reading part just right and my smudge-tastic fingers leave great big smears on the lenses, emollients and specs aren’t good friends. :negative:

The difference in the distance view is nuts, like going from VHS to 4K quality.

Time will tell if I can put up with the varifocals or not but so far I’m optimistic. :good:

No surprise Steve, got the 5T in storage, loved that phone. OnePlus still offer great VFM even if the prices have gone up.

Like you said, the screen is insanely good, 4K Netflik is stunning. The speakers are also brilliant.

Still getting to grips with the camera capability but got some good slow motion stuff yesterday and today down Penarth front. Put some on my Instagram, @backonbikes.

Got some photos down Penarth front at high tide this morning, also got some great slow-mo but the files are huge!

Honestly if it wasn’t for Trump being a rsole I’d have kept my Mate 20 Pro. It’s still an amazing phone even after about 22 months as my main phone. Which is a record for me I think.

If it can’t do secure stuff then it’s basically a camera, for me.

The power of phones now is insane, even the Mi Mix 3 5G is plenty for most people, still under £300 on a good day.

The 8 Pro should last me enough time to save the money to buy another bonkers phone, I’m looking at 18 months +, unless Trump get’s back in. :negative:

                        Welcome.

I’ve just started using jetAudio recently as Play Music is being discontinued and you need a YouTube Music sub to use Android Auto  with it.  All my music sounds nicer, crisper and seems to have more detail, especially in the car. I’ll pay for the fancy version if I continue getting on well with it.

Are you using an LG app for the music? If so try something like jetAudio.

I’d be inclined to try jetAudio anyway and see if the problem goes away or not.

The listing has me a bit worried.

It says that it’s unbranded, the photo shows a Sandisk.

I’d pay a bit more and go for this.

I have a fair few of the own brand ones in my camera bags and out there in other peoples stuff, no complaints from me or anyone else.

Had some flights with the ‘big’ one recently. Yesterday it wouldn’t work at all, very early morning so I put it down me being a bit tired and not checking everything.

In the afternoon it dawned on me that there was some dew on the field I’d been trying to fly from. Home experiment concluded that moisture above a certain point on the aerials completely wrecked the ability to connect/ fly.

Out this morning, earlier, take offs from dry areas and no problems at all.

Ed, I was getting overloaded with information. I explained that to them.

The staff were great but even then I needed to get out.

I chose the 2 for £69 frames,  the one down from the top of the range of the varifocal lenses and anti glare.

I can try them for up-to 3 months and if I’m not happy can switch to separate long range and reading.

I don’t give a rats arse about being fashionable, all I care about is if it does the job, isn’t too expensive and I like it.

I’d put an old mobile up there with a trial camera app  on it. Or a CCTV app.

Get your TZ 90 out to look at the eves, 30X optical zoom should be enough.

Yes Dave, either that or maybe, just maybe, fertiliser.

That doesn’t fit with the small flashes of light though, as far as I know.
