I’ve managed to edit my last post in the spam thread explaining that the forum is knackered and there are some of us here.

If anybody finds it or not I’ve no idea.

Dunno about them but I got the 32GB refurb (brand new in reality, just box opened) from here.

Mum got one as well and that was also brand spanking new, as was the one Mike bought.

The Android and iOS apps are now live for all to use.

You will need to use some mobile data to activate the app on Android, not sure about iOS.

It’s a mess alright.

The PM function works and it seems to allow posting even though you get that annoying message.

If that’s the case when it’s working again I expect a load of posts that are random, I’ve done a few ‘test’ posts myself.

I noticed the influx of new members as well Roy, I do hope the ban button works but I’m not holding my breath… :unsure:

Slower than a one legged donkey on my main rig and Chromebook, about as fast as a 2 legged one on Android.

I have some old Dell machines here (Pentium 200 @ 233, jumper overclocking was so easy) and they are like tanks.

One is my bedside table and they all came out of the old South Wales Echo building maybe 15 years ago when their systems were updated and it was cheaper to give them away than scrap them.

One was in the print room and is battered and covered in ink but it still works.

Older isn’t always better but sometimes it is.

Could it be that someone at InstantASP saw that Felix Dennis had died and just pulled the plug, hoping (maybe) to get out of the deal?

Have you used an Android tablet before?

If so there’s nothing different, they are almost stock Android. The Tesco bits aren’t very intrusive at all.

All I did was put Astro, MX Player and VLC on the 2 I got and they are now in the hands of my niece and nephew who are happily using them abroad.

Luckily for me the ones I’ve flashed have been easy, a few steps at most.

Since the Nexus 4 there has been no nead for me to flash a rom, they just work.

Depending on which phones you have you may be able to flash a Android 4+ rom to them.

Everything Everywhere are also rolling out a service along the same lines.

YouTube worked first time, I was amazed I remembered the codes!
