I bought this off ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252542372484 at 10pm Saturday evening and it turned up by Amazon courier noon next day.

I wonder if that’s Jason?

Saw the physio today, after a chat and a fitting for a crutch it was concluded there’s nothing else they can do for me for now.

Roll on Thursday and the consultant again.

Many years ago Chris and I visited crop circles in Wiltshire whenever we could. Most were blatantly fake but some were odd.

In one my huge VHS camcorder wouldn’t work at all. Outside the field it worked fine.  Not saying there’s anything alien about it, it’s just very odd.

            What’s wrong with a switch?

            Nothing.

If you’re able to get to it. My living room switch is behind my bikes, with my hip issues it’s very awkward to get to.

I’m not at mum’s place all the time so being able to control it while I’m not there is very handy.

My mate does a wild line in chili sauces.

His brother, another mate of mine does the labels and did a load of artwork for Super Furry Animals.

Separate accounts as I don’t go away, so mum doesn’t need access to my bulb.

Otherwise, having them all on the same account would make sense.

Parallel Space, run multiple instances of an app, social media or anything else.

I used it today as I need separate Yeelight accounts for my place and mums.

It likes to add apps so just keep an eye on it.

Like squash, about 250 ml of water to 30 ml of gloop.

That cherry gloop just came (I got the 1/2 size bottle, should last about a fortnight).

Just had some and it’s not as bad taste wise as I was fearing, I was pulling some faces mind, so sharp.

If I notice any improvement over the fortnight I’ll order a big bottle.

Thanks again for the heads up BL.

Figured out how I got Google Now working with the Yeelight app!
First you need to have the Yeelight app working. Then go and get Tasker and Tasker Now.
Open Tasker and tap the + to add a profile, select event then Plugin. Select Tasker Now.
There should be a pop up box mentioning the Pro version, click ok and then allow recording audio. Then select services, Tasker Now and let Tasker Now have access to Google Now.
Go back to Tasker Now and select Event again and cancel the pop up about the pro version.

Enter the text for Google Now to recognize to trigger the event. It can be anything you want, as long as you know what it event it triggers.
Go back and a new task box should have popped up. Name it something appropriate and then save it.

Tap the + to add an action, select plugin and Yeelight. Add device then select the bulb/s you want and then select the action. If you need to adjust the action (brightness, for example) do so.
Minimize tasker and give it a go.

                        It ‘should’ work now.

Google Now will probably do a internet search for whatever term you used to trigger the event, it should start talking to you and quickly go away once the event has been triggered.
For some reason my LG G5 isn’t fantastic at understanding me, the Shield K1 is far better, must be something to do with the microphone and/or Android build.

Found a video that should help a bit, not the best but with the above instructions it should become clear.

I have a nasty ganglion on my left wrist, comes and goes but has been around for a long time now.

Also get some bursitis on my elbows, one burst when I was up a mountain on my bike. Wrapped the wound up with tissue and elastic bands until I got home and could clean it properly.

Had my hands scanned today and baffled the doc completely. Before he did the scan he looked at my hands and I could tell he was only doing the scan to confirm his suspicions.

He was way off. Apparently there is still nothing major wrong with them. He scanned the left hand 4 times, that’s how sure he was he was missing something.

Ah well, the way I’m going I’ll be confusing medical types for a while.

Got voice recognition working using Google Now, The Yeelight app, Tasker and Tasker Now on my Shield K1  :yahoo:

Not quite sure how though.

Will have to try and replicate it on my G5 so I can document it.

Amazing fun and practical as well.

The voice control is just for me to play with. Had to order another bulb because this one isn’t going back to mums place…

                                Really impressed so far.

You’re right, no Google Now option.

Shame, I’m sure there’s a way to do it, maybe using tasker or something, I’ll look later or tomorrow.

Do you have a link to the YouTube vid to get Google Now working?

In my attic I have a basic steam engine that my grandfather had as a youngster.

He had a burn mark on his arm until the day he died. He was given it when he was about 6.
