Seemingly not,  Fire 5 should have it, it does not research indicates that it don’t work well on any Fire Tablet and if you have a Fire 6 or 7 it won’t work on them either.

This may be regional though as the US users seem to be able to use  it’

The military is what it is some like it some don’t,  does your medical condition bar you from the MI branches of government? are the reserve forces ruled out?

I tried to change career and made the wrong choice, when it goes wrong it goes horribly wrong so be sure that there will be a job for you at the end of it and that you will enjoy it, if possible try before you make the jump.

Of course, you have to do what you feel is right for you I know nothing of your family situation, willingness to relocate or skills, beliefs or needs.

I was going to build my last system and did some research, then went to lidl and realised the shop opposite was https://www.utopiacomputers.co.uk/ .  So I went it for a nosey and ended up with the Warmachine https://www.utopiacomputers.co.uk/warmachine. Best made plans and all!

I think we’re in some cases confusing AI with Automation here.  Self-drive on tractors has been around for quite some time, and yes relied on someone telling the tractor where to start and stop as well as someone being in the cab to control the attached implements.  |The latest generation of Autonomous tractor, not only navigates itself but also controls the implements attached to it and can take weather into account. In addition to that the tractor is able to work alongside its human counterparts, so for example, the driver of the combine needs to empty the grain tank and tells the AI tractor which then drives out to meet the combine before driving back to the farm to unload.

Unions aren’t necessarily a bad thing, without them, significant chunks of the Health and Safety at Work Act would not exist, it’s unlikely we’d have a minimum wage and holiday, maternity and sick pay would not exist or be at the level it is today.  Their role is still just as important in protecting workers rights as well as individual workers, however, the mail union that causes problems is the RMT.  I’m not saying other unions don’t cause trouble 9 out of ten times though it’s them that shutdown London and access to and from it.

Taxation is interesting, it’s unlikely that companies would put up with an AI tax but should they choose to leave the country in search of cheaper rates they are likely to be hit when trying to export to this country with increased costs not on only in transportation but import duties as well, the end consumer will not tolerate higher prices forcing the company to either sell at a loss or absorb the additional costs.  I believe Apple suffer this fate when selling to China, which is ironic since most of their products are made over there!

Well, by now some of you will no doubt have read Mark’s article “Are Games Consoles Still A Thing?” in the final Micro Mart.  If you believe the figures in the magazine the Wii won the console war given it released later than the 360 and discontinued earlier than the other pair.

Was the Wii ever competition?

According to http://www.vgchartz.com/analysis/platform_totals/ the PS3 won the battle by just over 1 million sales more, but talking with friends/family over the Christmas period, we were discussing the prohibitive cost of the PS4/XBoxOne. This led to the discussion of buying 2nd hand, something total sales figures don’t actually take into account. My 360 was brought new the PS3 was 2nd hand.  I’m also certain that the same is true of other users. so can we ever know the real winner?

Someone had to stop wanting the PS3 for me to be able to purchase it, why did they no longer want it, I brought it before the PS4 release, so it hadn’t become redundant due to upgrade or did it.  When we upgraded our living room TV, we obtained a SMART TV that gave me access to all the online services Amazon, NOW, Netflix so my need to keep the PS3 in there became redundant, luckily I’ve got kids and it went to work elsewhere, but what if I no longer have a use for it.  I mainly use the PC for my Games/browsing backed up by a table/phone if I’m in the living room.

Console’s have always been released with a new game not normally available on the older console, or better hardware that offers the player something new, Kinect for example.  With a PC you just open her up and swap the offending article bang off you go again no repeated outlay for games, all living in the cloud, most games don’t even need subscription fees to play online.

Having reflected on Mark’s article and the many discussions of beer and food, the only winners of this war were Microsoft and Sony, whose copious profits were bolstered by gamers whose only choice was to pay through the nose for 2 consoles, the replacements for which don’t on the face of it appear to be any better.

When two teams meet on the pitch to play football, they follow a set of rules. When ISIS meet on the battlefield, they don’t follow any rules.

Until the rest of the world accept this war won’t be won fighting fair, fighting by our moral compass and rules, this war won’t be won.  This is why Asad now controls Syria, why ISIS continue to wreak havoc in Europe and why Trump, Putin, Farage are now more popular than ever.  They oppose the system that would keep us enslaved.  To quote a well know TV Drama:
“The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you’re already dead. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you’ll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function: without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All war depends upon it.”

This is where the world needs to be with ISIS and Syria

The main selling point for the PS3 was the easy access to blue ray which probably helped bump up sales, for me MS won the war they did not suffer data breaches the way that Sony did, yes the red ring of death was annoying I suffered that too but on the PS3 I have had 2 hard drives replaced on warranty  and the unit had to be repaired as the HDMI connection failed.

However, the market for consoles was changing at the time, from just games to full blown entertainment centers both missed this mark although Sony faired a little better probably due to the parent companies background.  I think that MS have caught up and possibly overtaken the PS now.

For me the PS4 was a disappointment yes on paper it sounded better but in reality, the PS3 is still just as viable. I am not however saying the XB1 is any better it just corrected a lot of MS mistakes from the XB360 and repackaged it.  Steam downloads would however, be preferable as it opens up the option to allow buy 1 copy and have multi-platform access.
