You’re right I used to, it stopped working. It would light up but no drives were seen.

In that statement it makes me think it’s the rig, that however can’t be the case as it’s the same in the Lenovo.

I did keep that in the drawer (might still be there) I have to mess about, hence the above to keep handy.

      Cheers

          Thanks Ed

Following the link there is nothing conflicting. Further investigation reveals the USB ports are working but nothig is seen when you put a SD card in wether you use Micro or adapter. It’s like the SD part is dead.

So back to can anyone advise a good hub similar to above.

          Cheers
          John

It maybe 6 months a time when low disk space returns so it’s not with me on monthly updates.

            Dave not my choice either.

I won’t use Wish then Bob, but then if I use my hardly used email it will wake it up.

Thanks for the tips, There is no box to tick (Windows 8.1) on disk cleanup sys files. I did run sys files it took forever but came up with no old files.

Ed to ad a USB is ok for me, but it’s not mine and when they place it in the carry bag they need to unplug it. I feel it wouldn’t get used for the purpose.

Since having it it had 20mb of free disk space, I got it to 1.7GB since Windows update it now only has 300mb of free space, it seems I’m not going to get anymore other than (if it’s safe) to uninstall (asked asked above) but is it safe or are they needed.

                Cheers

                                  Message from Sainsbury’s (email today)

You will have seen that, due to the ongoing uncertainty around the full impact of Coronavirus, supermarkets have been much busier than usual and customers are choosing to stock up.
I wanted to personally reassure you that we have more food and other essential items coming to us from manufacturers and into our warehouses and distribution centres. If we all shop just for the food that we and our families need, there will be enough for everyone.
I also wanted to let you know that at Sainsbury’s, we are working really hard to ensure this remains the case. Over the past two weeks we have:

Ordered more stock of essential items from our suppliers

Put more capacity into our warehouses and

Set limits on a small number of items, including some cleaning products, soap and pain relief. This is a precautionary measure – if everyone shops normally, there will be enough for everyone.
There are gaps on shelves because of increased demand, but we have new stock arriving regularly and we’re doing our best to keep shelves stocked. Our store colleagues are working tirelessly and doing the best job they can.
Which brings me onto a request. Please think before you buy and only buy what you and your family need. If we all do this then we can make sure we have enough for everyone. And please help elderly and vulnerable friends, family and neighbours with their shopping if you can.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and to thank our colleagues who are all working incredibly hard to ensure we can continue to serve our customers well.
                                  Best wishes

                                  Cheers
                                  John

I don’t want to use Home I just wondered if it was possible as it’s on Jan Download using media creation tool. It has all versions on, at one time you selected the version (Pro) you wanted. ie: when I start to install Windows from the Jan DVD (ISO) it gives you the option to select Home Pro etc.

I just wondered if my digital licence covered all versions of 10 or it only covered Pro and wouldn’t accept it if I used other than Pro

Sadly my circumstances have changed drastically. Since late November 2019 and I am having a s–t 2020 so far. I hope things will change soon?

At this stage I can’t offer any suggestion on subs, other than better than slows n downs.
