While most things said (Duke) I agree. But like Bob it’s worthy for a specific charity. I chose The  Heart Foundation (on ebay) I have a Heart Condition.

But then it is a lot to be said about Bobs choice of McMillan Nurses, my partner has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and the mac nurses are helping loads.

As always, after a dabble I reload a backup to before the dabble.

My backups are refreshed after the second Tuesday in the month. Also I don’t dabble on my main used rig, uutil I am happy with a dabble.

Come to think of it I did dabble on main rig but that was on Windows 7 (now back on 10) I have backups of 7 and 10

Thanks for the advice sadly I can’t see the u tube video but get the jist.

I have advised not to bother.

Ed I have already tried on the link you gave. You have to accept the toolbar install allow etc then you get another and so on. Some of the links (for change my software) you have to enter your name add email then tick the boxes to accept junk. 10 in all, once done you get another page of 10 and so on.

You never get to the download you’re after.

You can get to download All when you open the 10 it says ooppss I didn’t get round to it, click on the link and download it, it then takes you to your above link and son on.

Ed I would go that way, I don’t really know. For some reason he bought the pad to use the Lego software, only to find it needs Windows. I thnk he wants to see if it can be converted, rather than buy a top. I think also the pad is smaller than a top?

That I don’t know I am still waiting to see it.

Ia m struggling to find change ny software 10 I noe have 7 so perhaps go Windows 7.

I have tried it and it asks for a device (I don’t yet have)

PM what’s SoC

I have read bits on the internet and it says I need changemysoftware10.

I have been on loads of links, ended up with filling in forms loads of toolbars, but never got to download Change My Software 10.

I have downloaded Chang My Software 7 – 8 – 8.1 but I need 10.

It lets you connect your PC to the android.

By any chance does anyone have Change My Software 10.

I went on chat, after I sent the screen shots I was told I am using the free version and 30 day trial is not. Yet it said 30 day trial, I was assured it was not the trial and I can use it, even after 30 days?

I am weary as it did say 30 day trial and the version I have says Buy or activate and to activate I need a key code, I need to buy that?

Below is the last screen shot I sent and I was told this is the free and I can use it. It still says Upgrade or activate, I select activate and it asks for the key code (buy) not sure if I want to use it as after 30 days it may fail and I lose backups created.

I use WD True Image Free (if you have a WD HDD) or Paragon Backup & Recovery (free)

However, I backup to antoher partition discs aren’t big enough or life time gauranteed (after shrinking C:) I re create a backup after Windows has updated.

I also backup to USB drives if you don’t want to shrink. That is as long as your rig can see USBs on boot (dos) recovery mode.

Only last night I screwed up C: and booted from the true image (disc) and recovered C: from the backup, back to normal.

It’s the TV not mini box / remote I am not sure how it works, I don’t have mini boxes,

I assume you have seperate remotes for the mini box ?

If not and you use the same remote the volume is set for your main TV.

Perhaps you need a different remote and can set the volume for you second TV (mini box) in the settings on your mini box (if you have settings on a mini box)

Home – Settings – Setup – Remote Control – select the type you have then follow the instructions.

If this doesn’t work then shame on you, Sky

Dave, not sure if I want to know the cost until the end of the quater, it may frighten me.

I do at times read it and work out the usage since the last bill. Also when I send readings I work out the cost and compare it (once the reading is sent they send a picture of cost)

That happens a lot Richard, I get to them in the end.

Duke I drink coffee alone and have a 1 cup kettle, for me 1 cup is too close
to the scale.

Talking Kettles every one I seem to buy leak as I pour. I purchased a Swan Kettle even that leaks.

Lee that’s surely dangerous.

I seemed to have missed you post Dave.

I am happy with the way it works now (why rock the boat), I don’t think I will find any use for it. As for seeing my usage I struggle to get at the meter on a quaterly basis as it is. I wouldn’t want that struggle on a daily basis to see how much.

I have recently had the rubbers changed on the windows/door I don’t open my blackout curtains. My electric is more or less the same each quater, and I haven’t used any gas yet, that’s a good saving.

It’s been a nightmare contacting the supplier, finally I have a refusal on my account.

I am already on dual fuel, I do my own meter reading,  I do my own energy saving by many ways.

I have just telephoned to cancel, gave the accont number etc (on the email), they put me on hold. While I was on hold I logged into my online account to notice the account number on the email is no longer my account. It was my previous address (5 years ago) I waited to explain, eventually the line went dead.

I phoned back to speak to someone else and explained it wasn’t my address why should I have the email. I was told sorry for that I will cancel it.

I gave the wrong A/C (for this add) but gave this address and yet they are canceling someone elses smart meter, how is this possible, they even did all security checks.

I thought it would be best to speak to someone, I am now even more worried.
