Thanks Duke
I will opt for the HP 256GB SSD I can possibly live with that size.
I will purchase the DVD (on your link) laters or probe for cheaper. I have one it’s never worked as it should.
Cheers
JohnThanks Dave
I took on board, better with SSD, she has cancelled the order and ready for the £245, the only thing it has a bigger SSD (250GB) but only a DVD the other for £230 has 120GB SSD and a DVD R/W I need the R/W (small form factor) but lose on SSD size? I could never get a R/W for the Dell 760 only USA megga bucks postage or no UK post?
So do I lose SSD and gain R/W or do I lose R/W and gain SSD
Cheers
JohnDave it’s a Sky Router, not sure about sharing USB on it. I should have said from usb porty (USB Drive) to the other and visa
Thanks Ed
I did notice on the Dell it was public and the Lenovo is private, I will watch that later on the Dell
I did look at internet address and decided what the —– so I left it.
I can have another go with the add you give, but then it’s an eg i’m back to the start.
I will probe latersCheers
JohnThanks for the links Dave
From them I will work a price, maybe not much but mine has 1TB HDD + 8GB ram, but I am not gonna get much.
Thanks for the offer of a build, I didn’t expect that, the money isn’t mine, so not sure how long it would take.
Sadly since this morning I have been talking to her (the money isn’t hers neither), I gave her the link and it’s on it’s way to me.
I am glad you say no slouch and even more happy about my choice.
Much appreciated
Cheers
JohnThanks Wasbit I need to add my complaint.
Thanks Dave I had a look on first link (gordon bennett)
I had a go on google drive (complicated)
I had a go on dropbox, I did find it easier but lots of signing in and upload/download.
It may be easier to stick with the old USB Drive transfer as Duke does.
Thanks Ed, that’s what I was looking for (homegroup) no wonder I didn’t spot it.
Duke compared to sharing I like the trusty USB lazy or not.
I wanted to network as it used to be drop a file in and that was it.
I thought from the first Windows, upgrades were better?
At one time I had a USB cable (and program)to USB and that worked great, don’t know what happened to that.
That probably wouldn’t work either on 10Richard good points
Ed I think I did see Network sharing (once) with password but not sure where it was.
Thanks all for the input I think it looks like USB maybe easiest.

JohnThanks Bob some time ago, that I can’t remember what it was about.
Handy link though.

JohnI don’t smoke much, I detest the vapours.
There is an ashtray in the car, just above the gear stick (when in fifth I can’t get at it). Also I hold a fag in my right hand, to swap over to use the ashtray is tricky
So the ash ends up dropping on the floor, I detest that as much although I was told ash is good for carpets.
Hence the air vent (on the right) is ideal for an ashtray.
Cheers
JohnThanks Ed
Seems a good un, but then Duke has some valid facts.
I browsed ebay for a cheaper vent thing (using Tippons link, name of product), it has a sticky backed magnet for the ashtray and a magnet for the vent.
In Car Magnetic Phone Holder Fits Air Vent Universal Mount
Requiring no screws or fixings, the magnetic Smartphone (johns ashtray) holder simply attaches to your dashboard with a strong adhesive pad. The adhesive plate attaches to the back of your Smartphone (johns ashtray) and provides a contact to ‘stick’ to the magnetic holder.
The Velcro might come in use though, I will get some.
Cheers
JohnThanks Tippon
I will try it, true about car full, if I stick the tab to the lower back and then highest vent and leave the fan off it should escape blowing around the car. If fan needed the lid can be shut on the ashtray.
Cheers
JohnSo simple, when you know how.
Thanks Tippon

Johnsos
I need them to stick this (already purchased) onto the air vent (on the right), then when it’s full it can be removed and emptied. It wasn’t realised it has no removeable parts to empty it, so I can’t permently fix it.
It doesn’t say if it has a bracket on the back, to slide off.

JohnThanks Duke
I will look into mobile view, I have no mobile or tablet to use messanger when I need to use it.

JohnThanks JayCee
Not to forget, it’s harder and takes longer than weed killer.
oopppsss as Duke say’s
Cheers
JohnCheers, very interesting
I never knew there was so much info on weed killer’s bad bits, no wonder the weeds don’t like it.
Maybe go back to killing the weeds with a shovel (or Hoe), chop chop, slice slice.

JohnGreat read Bob and nice to see your’e getting on with life and plenty of exercise.
1 Question
Where were the brown chips caught, mine are normally fried.
Cheers
JohnThanks Ed
This is the first time I have used Roundup and I think it will be the last, especially what’s said on your link.
I normally use Resolva Weedkiller.
Also the roundup came out like blobs of foam not a fine spray.

I did them earlier, not near them now. I hope it works (at 28°) if not I will have to pick a cooler time next time.
28° is going by the therm in the car it could of been cooler, I never had a sweat.
