All the best Richard, I know what your going through, she has her sixth and last 04/06/18. The last one (5th) she had problems with her heart (after having an Echo) so she only had 1 bag of chemo out of 2.

She then starts her Radio Therapy.

      Cheers
      John

        Thanks Ed

        I see what you mean.

I just thought they downgraded as v1703 & 1709, 1803 gives errors on Windows update when updating the graphics.

I will DL a new ISO.

        Cheers
        John

Thanks Blacklion I will try it, allthough I have no other listings to pick. I will look into it.

          Edit:

I just this second remebered, since the cancelled bid I have changed the HDD and re installed Windows so the old listing is deader. It has the TB HDD on if I sold it to the other bidder I would need to put TB HDD back in. This is now in my other rig.

So I am going to need to manually re list with the different HDD.

          Cheers
          John

Chemo has been at hostpital 1 (lets call it H1) she had 2 choices of Hospitals for radio (H2 & H3),  H2 is nearest so she picked H2 Radio will be with a different onco. Had she have chosen H3 it would be with the same onco as H1 as she works at H1 & H3.

The parking at H1 is a breeze we press the button on exit and say chemo with a password that changes each week (password is found on chemo ward) and the barrier lifts up.

We have found H2 no longer uses barriers, tickets, just ANPR camera which I think at the machine (on exit) you put your car reg in (that’s what you do at Tesco)

Not got a clue how the parking system works at H3.

I thought Cancer was bad enough without parking problems and we have at least another year to go, once radio is complete she has to go back to H1 for injections (these are additonal to the injections she has to put in her stomach X5over 5 days before each chemo)

On her last Chemo (04 June) she gets to ring the bell in the hospital (as do all patients as they finish Chemo) everyone cheers.

            Cheers
            John

              Thanks Bob

It says that chemo-Radio patients get a reduction.

At this stage we only have an appointment for the Oncologist.

In affect the pre run was only a run. When she does see the Oncologist we will park in a car park and pay on exit, she has chemo at another hospital and as your hospital chemo patients don’t pay. This hospital doesn’t do radio therapy, or it would be no problem with parking.

Richard She has had the picc since January, the hair came out after the second chemo, she has the wig but prefers the hat and scarf. The hats are a bit much for her while the sun is out. The next Chemo (6th) is her last then she goes onto Radio Therapy.

Hence the change of hospital and the parking difference.

              Cheers
              John

I tried the hospital, they have no email contact. I need to write to the hospital.

I forgot to say I never got round to purchasing a dashcam.

                  Thanks blacklion

I followed your link it it did show the listing in my orders then it came to this.

This listing (**********) has been removed, or this item isn’t available.

I think I did have an email (now deleted) from ebay saying to re list I would need to fill in details again.

                  Cheers

                    I will have a look

I searched for parking at the hospital and it came up with

                    https://www.parkopedia.com/

Sadly there is nothing on there web to pre send, the contact details say

Please note that we do NOT operate any of the parking facilities listed on the website and are thus unable to provide any further information about individual locations.

I may have to wait and reply to the fine.

                    Cheers

                      Thanks JayCee

Maybe a good idea, I am not sure who the parking company is, I am sure it is parkopedia, I have been back since to snap the signs and didn’t go in faar enough to see the sign who runs it.

                          Thanks Duke, JayCee, PM

Duke I do charge with the PC, this is for Dad and he has no tech stuff to plug in.

Since last night I have got Dad a shaver with a UK plug, far easier for him.

It’s good to know I can use my mobile adapter to charge my shaver, that is USB only.

                          Cheers

sos I know about the specs on the charger, I don’t know the specs on the appliance, nor what it means.

I was using the amazon link & mine as an example, the charger (dads) is not here I was considering getting him a shaver with USB cable to plug into the charger he said he has. I feel it too risky and just wondered if it was risky.

                                Cheers

Duke I have always partioned and never confused apps, the real benefit is backups of Windows I don’t need to backup all them docs when backing up windows. I have did this with my Amiga and never looked back.

Wasbit as you I backup docs, the main ones I backup all the time, I use the 1TB you gave me (I think) there is nothing on my rig for long, I even backup the TB to a few 2.5 HDDS and USB sticks.

All I want from C: is to operate everything else with an OS

                                    Cheers

Back to the Dell 760, it’s on ebay (this is not a punt)

I have re installed Windows 10 (updated to V1803) including Acronis True Image WD Free and have backed up to USB.

This is sold with the USB backup, I have suggested for future backups to create a partition (shrink C:) (for faster backups).

It’s  1TB HDD so a partition of maybe 100gb may not be missed

I keep thinking wether I should create a partition myself and sell it partitioned for backup rather than suggest they partition it.

If so I have forgot how to shrink it leaving 900gb C: and 100gb D: (Dave Rice once showed me)

                                        Cheers
