I used Snapp Driver, I no longer have any conflicts. However some thing seem missing.

      1 Shut down swipe screen

      2 Taskbar Keyboard

      and a few others?

The seller said they have no drivers but has offered me a link to the Image.

I assume they mean something like Dell HP recovery type?

      Cheers
      John

                    Thanks Bob

I checked your links, to find it’s a major prob.

I have never not known a manufacturer web not having drivers. I joined Fusion 5 it’s ok if you want to purchase something.

It was from Amazon, I have contacted the seller about drivers, I await a reply.
Some one must have drivers for it as they worked from new.

The USB is a standard port (not mini) I had snappy driver on USB and run it, it kept going over and over and finally said
                    due to a virus.

I deleted it from the USB and dl a fresh version of Snappy Driver yet to try it. I am waiting till Win Ups Finishes
                    then try snappy.

Thanks for the links (much appreciated)

                    Cheers
                    John

                      Only part solution

I sat here thinking I could try a wifi dongle (to at least connect to the net & update) this worked.

Sadly Windows update only fixed 15 conflicts. It seems I still have 8 conflicts, no touch pad / keyboard / onboard wifi and ? unknown, these can’t be updated as unknown.

                      Cheers

Maybe remove this thread (wasting space)

Bob I went to screwfix, I hadn’t got one to match up. I said to the assistent I was after a countersink with a 3.5mm head and 15mm thread. She said we don’t sell in those sizes and didn’t know what I meant, it took me 20mins to get her to understand. The box of screws she sold me clearly states (on the box) 3.5mm x 16mm?

                            Cheers

I don’t think I clicked on anything other than the message I pasted above.

Maybe that was one click too many, I seemed to have lots of different problems, on reboot it would not boot just stuck on the splash screen.

I struggled even in the bios to change the boot. Not sure if it was anything to do with the above.

I managed to get Windows 10 DVD to boot, so I wripped the drives out and started again.

So far so good, I have updated to Window 1809 it’s not yet offered me 1903?

Richard it’s a slow rebuild to get back to normal (hopefully)

                              Cheers

nice one I ordered some 4mm x 15mm sadly the 4.5mm start at 40mm (length),

                                  Them should do, thanks.

I have stopped it happenning by selecting never save in the scroll down on the right.

Yet to find out if it stops all (NEW, future) websites from offering to save passwords. Possibly will but all mine are saved so at least I stopped it popping up on forumite.
